Annabell smiled softly and nodded, she had never really ever been given much that she had not 'earned', the stars in her hair had been a sign that she had passed into adult hood, the ties around her neck were a sign that he had chosen to become a star reader.... yet this flower? It meant nothing more than a blooming friendship between two soquili... right?
Annabell absentmindely searched the ground, hoping that her eyes did not pick up the twinkling shine of the lost fallen star... part of her wanted to be honest about it, and she suspected he would be once it was found. A fallen star was not for her to claim back... but for another. And Annabell could think of no one more deserving of its magical luck than Dhiren or his cousin Isadora.
"Any luck...??" She called out, a slight cough as she pushed away the last of her earlier embarassement.

Isadora squealed with delight when she investigated a shine that caught her eye and pushed the blades of grass around before picking up the tiny, silver star that must be the one that fell from Annabell's mane. Proud of her findings she turned around, oblivious to the awkward tension between the two adults, too immersed in her finding. "I found it!"
Dhiren perked his ears up and looked, startled in the direction of Isadora. She seemed to be thrilled about something and he had a suspicion that she had found the elusive trinket. He grinned in the direction of his cousin, "I think it hid almost as well as you do, Isadora."
Isadora grinned and went up to Annabell, proud to have found it for her and looked up holding the star for her. "This is it right? It looks like the others in your hair." She grinned proudly.

Annabell dragged her attention away from Dhiren and to Isadora, a smile back in place of the confusion that lay upon her features moments before. She nodded with joy, "Yes.... I believe you have indeed found it." She smiled softly, always finding it strange how something that once hung gold in her hair often turned to silver after leaving it.... strange metal, strange wishes.... but a lot of things in the world they lived in where strange and unusual.
She looked at the innocent eyes of Isadora, leaned in and kissed her cheek breifly, "And your reward is to keep it. Make a wish, and it may very well come true." She smiled again before whispering, "they are made of magic." Annabell had always believed that, a fallen star was more precious than any that still lingered within her long mane.
She nodded to them both, suddenly unsure where she stood... their task was complete, would they simply go their seperate ways.... or more? Annabell was a little too social awkward to know the answer.
