Dhiren sighed as he pushed his way out of a thick copse of trees and bushes. Why his tiny cousin had picked this as the best place to hide, he was understanding first hand. A dried leaf had stuck its self to his fetlocks, and as he pulled it from his fur he was sure he heard rustling off in the distance. He glanced up, ears alert, looking for flashes of bright pink and deep purple and seeing none. His cousin was becoming pro at this game and he briefly wondered if they should start playing a different game, less she get too good at this one. Her mother would never forgive him if he actually lost her, nor would he for that matter. He huffed and shook the thought from his mind. Finding her was tricky, but he always managed...and then she'd run off to hide again.
Dhiren looked to the sky, large clouds moved lazily across it, and he wondered if taking to the sky would help his case any. He would loose her scent, but was sure if he landed back in the same spot (if flying didn't help) he could find it again. That settling his resolve, he spread sunset wings and boosted himself into the air and over the trees to look down into the forest. Isadora giggled as she watched her cousin pass by her and not find her, and then her eyes widened when he flew off. Surprised she moved from her hiding spot to watch him. Had he forgotten he was supposed to be finding her then? He never forgot...and then she noticed he was looking through the trees and she giggled again at her silly fears and skittered over to a new hiding spot, excited at the possibility at being found.

Annabell Grace was enjoying the clouds, her heart brimming with joy as the rays of bright sunlight danced and twinkled on the raindroplets within the clouds. She soared and danced among them, her feathered wings tracing the skyline as she twisted and turned, somersaulted and glided. Simple elegance in motion. As she rolled and turned her mouth began to flutter open and closed as words danced from her lips and floated around her.
The song she sang didn't really have any true meaning, just something that she felt in her heart.
"Dancing in the sunlight, Singing like the moon, So far from my true self, That my heart does start to ache.
Darkness dares to creep in, Surrounding me in one, Yet hope still shines, The sun still blinds.....
For freedom I do weep."
Annabell was so caught up in her song and dance that she didn't notice a purple figure join her in the sky, nor did she notice that one of her star charms had fallen loose from her hair and had started to make its decent to the ground.

For some odd reason, possibly because Dhiren was watching for his cousin, but he noticed the small glinting object that was descending to the ground before he noticed the singing mare that was gliding through the air beside him. Teal eyes watched her for a moment, and he became aware that she didn't seem aware of his presence. He noticed stars adorning her hair and thought that it must be what fell. "Miss?" He noticed his wing came awful close to hers. "I believe one of your stars fell from your hair." He wondered if she realized he was there yet, she seemed to be enjoying herself immensely and he hoped news of her fallen trinket wouldn't cause her great distress. He'd be more than willing to help her look for it, of course he hoped he found Isadora too.

Annabell gasped and lost her momentum as a sound reached her..... someone was here? Her eyes scanned the skies and clouds around her desperatly as she tried to regain control. It took a couple of flaps of her four mighty wings but eventually she was hoovering and gliding once more. She spooked easily, ever since she had learnt that she would die at the hands of evil after finding love..... ok, so she wasn't in love at the moment but that didn't mean that the evil wouldn't get bored and come find her sooner -did it?
Plus, Annabell had heard rumours of winged demons, creatures of pure darkness and born of nightmares. The opposite to her kind; Kalona's. A shiver ran down her spine until her eyes finally found the purple flex of colour that must have spoken. Her eyes focused with relief as the form of feather winged stallion took shape before her, adoned in trinkets and feather accessories that could rival her own. Annabells eyes wandered..... he had ear wings? That made him at least part Angeni right? This realisation soothed Annabell tremendiously and the relief was evident on her face as he glowed once more with the uplift of her lips to form a smile. Her mother had once told her that she was the Moon of the Day, her smile shining brightly like a creasent Moon.
With a slight cough to clear her throat as a light blush covered her cheeks her own niavity and stupidity.... she had let her guard down but worst.... she had lost one of her stars. "Oh?" She mumbled; her eyes lowering for a moment in an effort to search for a fleck of gold but she saw nothing so brought her eye level back to the stallion before her. "How silly of me to loose myself so completely." Her blush spread and brightened. "Perhaps this is a sign that I should take my leave from the sky also? Before I fall like a falling star?" She chuckled slightly, impressed at her wit despite how fast her heart was racing in her chest.
Her eyes could no longer keep contact with his, so she used the star trinket as an excuse to look to the ground. It didn't matter too much that she had lost one, in a way it was better that she did since often they were found by those who needed them more. Annabell had been told once that falling stars were lucky, and if you made a wish or caught one good things would happen for you and your family. Still, she found herself asking; "I wonder where it fell?"

"Miss!" Dhiren went forward at once when he saw her falter in her rhythm, watching many emotions cross her face, his presence must have startled her greatly for so much feeling to have gone through her. Concern replaced his earlier entrapment at her sudden appearance, he didn't think it would have frightened her, at least, not this horribly. But then she had seemed so caught up in her thoughts. He knew if he had done something similar to his mother, she would have jumped ten feet in the air. Still, the frightened look on her face....
"Are you alright madam? I had no intentions of frightening you so..." Dhiren watched to see if she was alright, wondering possibly if the news of her lost trinket could possibly be some reason for her silence. It was a possibility, perhaps they meant something very dear to her, keepsakes from different moments of her life. He found himself giving her a shy, polite smile as she brought her brilliant blue eyes to his face. "It can be consuming and illuminating to loose ones self. Being at peace with everything around you is enlightening."
Dhiren too scanned the ground once more, recalling his cousin when the mare mentioned going to the ground. "Perhaps, if you wish, we could go find it? I'm fairly sure I remember where it fell," The word finding triggered an image of his little cousin in his mind and his eyes widened and a soft "oh" made its way passed his lips. "Perhaps in the process I would find my sneaky little cousin as well..."

Annabell smiled softly and nodded her reasurrances to him; she was fine.... now. If only the prophercy would leave her mind, she had turned down many courtship offers from males within her herd but had rejected them all in fear for her life. She sighed softly and shook her head to erase such thoughts. "I would like to look." She said, her attention returning to the part-angeni Stallion.
Her ears peeked up at the mention of a cousin, there was someone else here? She looked around, but sure enough they were alone in the sky. "Your cousin?" She asked, facing him once more. If his cousin wasn't with them then she was surely on the ground, she could already see this stallion as the type to play a game with a child.... but the question was, how old was the cousin? Not wanting to ask too many questions in fear of offending him, she instead asked. "How did you lose your cousin?" After all, he has said 'find his sneaky little cousin'.
Worry creased her brow, just incase it was a foal. "Let us be off then." She turned her head and tried to smile softly to him though she was sure her worry was clear, Annabell didn't like the idea of young foals being alone in the world.... the world was evil.
She started to decend to the ground, looking over her shoulder to check if he was joining her. That was when she realised she hadn't even introduced herself. With a flap of her wings she slowed herself so that she was close beside him, "I failed to introduce myself, my name is Annabell, Annabell Grace."

Dhiren cleared his throat when she inquired about his cousin. "I didn't really loose her. She is just very good at playing hide and seek. I took to the sky to see if I could spot her...alas, I did not." He smiled fondly thinking of his small affectionate cousin. She must be wondering where he was by now.
Dhiren followed the mare in a decent to the ground, steadying himself when she came back to him to introduce herself. He mad a courteous bow of his head when she said her name. "It is a great pleasure to meet you, Annabell Grace." He gave her a smile when he raised his head again, and as his hooves touched down in the grass and he folded his wings carefully he replied with. "I am...." He was cut off by a shrill angry little voice.
"Dhiren!" Isadora watched as her older cousin and another mare had come back to the ground, she figured she should emerge from her hiding spot, less he forget her completely. Warily she watched the other mare as she approached the pair of them. She seemed friendly, she was sure Dhiren wouldn't let some meany mare be around. A bright grin flashed across her face at her resolve that the mare couldn't be mean. She trotted right up to Dhiren and put on her best stern face. "How come you didn't find me!?" A pause then a small glare to the mare next to him. "She made you forget about me didn't she?!"
Dhiren eyed his little cousin on her approach and sighed. "Isadora, I promise I could never forget you." He nuzzled her tiny body and nudged her to behave. "This is Annabell Grace, Annabell Grace this is my cousin..." And once more she was cutting him off.
The small filly gasped and wiggled her fluffy tail. "Isadora Fayth! Thats my name! You have two names like me!" She grinned happily having everyone else tell her that it was odd she had two names. She went over to the mare, seeing her in a new light and nuzzled her shoulder in greeting.

Annabell nodded to the other stallion as the approached the ground, she was about to correct him about her name when what was clearly his cousin came stroming towards them. This took Annabell by surprise, she had never seen a child act so..... she wasn't really sure of the word, but it did seem wrong to her that a child would seep in such a manner toward an adult or elder. Strange. She had been told that the traditions and ways of others were different to those of her small herd... was this such an example?
Still, Annabell couldn't say that the child wasn't nice. She didn't seem to be naughty or unpleasant in any way; just a little rough around the edges.
Annabell stood back, not wanting to intrude on a private family moment. That was of course until the little filly walked straight up to her and nuzzled her shoulder. Taken aback Annabell gasped and looked down at the little mare... Isadora Fayth. "Oh... yes.... it seems we do. You may call me just Annabell though." She smiled gentle down at the small delicate creature. Without the wings of her kind the child seemed much smaller than those she was used to, and part of Annabell was afraid she would cause her harm -something she didn't want to do.
In an effort to try and sooth the child Annabell spoke softly, "Your cousin was looking for you, he asked me to join him in his search." She lowered her head so it was closer to Isadora's ear before whispering, "He said you were simply too smart for him to find on his own." Although she knew it was a slight white lie, she hoped her words would please the child and hopefully stop the random outbursts of annoyance and shouting. Annabell didn't really like fighting.

Isadoras eyes widened as she looked at her cousin then to Annabell, who whispered in her ear. Had she really hidden so well she stumped her cousin? She grinned, pleased with herself, then calmed down a bit, looking at Dhiren. "I'm sorry I hid so good. Next time I will let you see my hair." She smiled back to Annabell. "Your wings are really pretty, like Dhiren's sisters, except her feathers are different." And the filly was back invading the mares space by peering closely and nuzzling her wings too.
Dhiren Shook his head at Isadora. "Its quite alright, but how about a different game for a while Isadora?" He watched her begin to investigate Annabell and he snorted. "Isadora Fayth....what on earth do you think you are doing?" He nosed the filly on the rump to get her to stop. "You don't do that to others, Cousin. It's rather rude." He looked up to Annabell and smiled a slightly more exasperated smile. "She doesn't quite understand personal space." he looked down to the filly that was peering at him with a blush on her face and he raised a brow and indicated Annabell.
"Oh..." The small filly went around Dhiren and peeked at the mare shyly now from around his shoulder. "I apologize, Miss Annabell." Her bright pink eyes were looking at her pretty blue ones and hoped the mare wouldn't be angry with her. She was rather afraid of someone being mad at her.

Annabell couldn't help it.... before she could stop herself she burst out into laughter. The look on the young filly face as she was told off, and the seriousness on her Cousins face.... she wasn't sure what to think. "It's ok." She chirped and looked between the pair, "I don't mind."
Trying to see them both relax again Annabell spread her wings wide for the little one, the two tones sparkling in the sun. "Thank you Isadora Fayth," the foals compliment had lifted her spirits, among her herd her wings were considered 'normal' she had never considered what they must look like to someone who was flightless, of course this little foal had wings in her blood. Which made Annabell wonder.... were her siblings winged? Annabell had heard of such things, it was part of the reason why her herd tried to fall in love with other winged creatures; at least then all their children would be gifted with flight.
Curious as to what game they would play next, Annabell said; "So.... what we playing? And who is it?" She grinned at the pair before winking at Isadora.

Dhiren smiled at Annabell's friendliness toward Isadora. She seemed like an innocent and pure mare, so happy to cheer up Isadora and go along with his rather demanding cousin. It wasn't often you found someone who wasn't put off by her, so it was refreshing.
Isadora perked right up at the mention of a game, and of course, her favorite game came to mind. "We can play hide and seek again. Me and Annabell can hide and Dhiren can find us and it will be so fun!" She wiggled her tail, looking exciedly between the two adults.
Something was nagging the back of Dhiren's mind and it wasn't until a sparkle from Annabells hair caught his eye, that he remembered they were going to look for the star she had dropped. He looked down to Isadora and grinned. "How about we all look for something that is hiding?" He indicated the stars in Annabell's hair. "See her little stars? She lost one when she was flying. How about we help her look for it?" Dhiren grinned, thinking it would be a great way to keep his cousin from hiding anymore....for a while any way.
Isadora's eyes widened at the prospect of finding one of the pretty objects and bet her hoof it was better at hiding than she was. She nodded vigorously. "Lets find it!"

Annabell smiled as the pair interacted, part of her felt like an outsider glimpsing small views of a different world. Not having much to add she simply remained silent and watched. The fact was, Annabell was happy to waste a little time and play a game or two before she returned to the Fallen Star herd.
Though part of her was reluctant to go looking for her 'fallen star' she nodded happily in agreement, her only hope was that one of the pair found the star.... or if she did find it she could have one of the others collect it. After all, it would bring no luck to the person who it had once belonged to, greed would only corrupt the soul, but for a new owner the star was said to bring great luck, to grant the hearts most precious desire or dream.
Nodding her head to the pair and opening her wings to sit flat in the air beside her she spoke in most 'royal' of tones, "Thank you Sir Dhiren and Lady Isadora. You are most kind to this wandering stranger." Standing up again she smiled at the pair. Her eyes drifting from the small foal to her older cousin, it was then, as the sun shone brightly around them that she noticed something.... his pelt was made up of lots of shades of purple, with a blue patch upon his rump, and criss-crossing across his body was a faded white design... almost like a spiders web. It fascinated her.....
....yet after a moment she realised she was staring, a bright red blush consumed her face and she turned away with utter embarassement. "Em...em... sorry." She stuttered, standing in silence.

Isadora giggled at being called a lady. Maybe someday she would be one but for now she enjoyed being free and all over the place. She grinned at the idea of the game. "Okay!!" And she trotted off a little ways and began scanning the ground for anything remotely shiny.
Dhiren smiled after the eager foal. She was always such a handful to be around, but in a way refreshing, as she was so innocent in her endeavors. He turned back to Annabelle, and realized she was watching him, the attention made his own cheeks redden slightly, and he grinned also noting her cheeks deepen. "No harm done, Annabelle..." His eyes caught sight of a pretty little blue-purple flower swaying delicately next to him. His ears went forward and he bent down, gently he plucked the flower. Nervously now he reached and tucked it in her hair. Dhirens own blush was brightening and he hoped he hadn't stepped too far.

Annabell smiled as the little mare ran off in search of her star, and for some reason Annabell had the feeling that it was destined for the mare or her cousin to find... and when they did, she hoped it truely did bring them luck.
Of course, that thought was blown away when Dhiren approached her and placed a flower in her hair, she remained as still as she could.... slightly frozen by a strange fear or anticipation that she had never experienced before. Annabell had noted the blue flower before Djiren had picked it and she pondered how it would bring out the colour of her eyes.
"Thank you..... Dhiren...." He blush brightened, and she wasn't able to think of anything else to say, or do in return.... until an idea popped into her mind. Before she could change her mind she moved towards him, her mouth getting closer and closer to his cheek... so close she could feel the warmth of his breath and the smell of his scent flooding her sences. Then her lips made contact with his cheek.
Just the briefiest flutteriest of kisses.
Then she moved away and turned her head from embarassement. "Em.... shall we... eh... join Isadora....?"

Dhiren felt his heart squeeze and his stomach do a sort of funny flipflop as Annabell's lips touched his cheek. He was sure he was blushing he could feel it burning his cheeks, the place where Annabell had kissed was tingling.
Dhiren watched her turn away from him and he grinned ever so slightly. His voice was soft, and he was feeling particularly happy with him self. "Do you like your flower, Annabell?"
He looked to where his cousin was avidly searching for Annabell's lost star and nodded, almost absentmindedly. "Perhaps we should. Before we are scolded for not helping." He grinned and gave a small chuckle.
Isadora looked up briefly but kept her eyes mostly on the ground. She really wanted to find the star before Dhiren and Annabell did. Then they could be pleased with her findings! She grinned and giggled to herself.
