Penthesilea watched as her sister tested the ocean water for taste. Thirsty as Penthesilea was she was not willing to drink from here. There was a clear stream not far from here that would have fresh water in it, that is where she would slack her thirst. They would likely take a short rest there once they were done with the ocean and whatever Yakut was trying to show her. Of course her sisters words brought on a bit of confusion. Perhaps she had misinterpreted the lesson here. Had she been looking too closely and missed something more obvious? It was possible, even one such as her made mistakes from time to time. Mistakes were inevitable in life, but some were better at not making them than others. That was another life lesson. To learn from your mistakes so that one did not repeat them. However that was not the lesson of the day and so she only followed her sister back up the beach thinking on things while Yakut busied herself with the sand.
For a short time her sister remained quiet, using her hoof to move the sand about. But once that was done she turned her attention back to Penthesilea. The news of why they had come here made her jaw drop a bit. There wasn't any lesson behind it, no deeper meaning, it was simply that Yakut had wanted to see the ocean. That she had not seen coming. Penthesilea shook her head as Yakut took to the air once more. Oh her sister was so sneaky at times. But now that she had gotten her bit of fun out of the way it was time to truly get down to business. They had spent a few weeks wandering about, most of which was spent on this trip to the ocean, and now they would need to work faster if they wished to find the others in a timely manner. Unfurling her wings Penthesilea looked at the ocean before shaking her head. "She just wanted to see it." She mumbled to herself before taking to the air as well, hurrying to catch up to her sister.
