Basil snarled as the dog lunged at them. Moving to Specter's side he jumped forward to bite their attacker.

Rostam nodded his agreement to the conversation taking place. There was safety in numbers and when they didn't even know who or what their potential enemy was it seemed like the best idea was to stick together. Moving off down the street searching for clues with his nose as well as his eyes and ears Rostam was quick to notice that something wasn't right and the fur on his hackles rose up in apprehension. Shortly after the unnerving feeling hit him the lab came into sight and the fight began.
A deep sounding growl was emitted as Rostam watch his teammates attack first and he waited for an opening. Seeing one he lunged forward after Basil attacked and his jaws were poised, ready to clamp down on the lab as soon as he had the chance. Luckily for Rostam growing up on the streets and having been in fights before gave him some skill and past experience he could draw on. He felt flesh and bit down, hard.

The lab focused on Specter as the weim seemed to throw himself forward to protect his group. He wanted to be a hero? He'd feel the pains of a hero. He dodged the attack and lunged back at him, but was caught in the teeth of a dane. The stray howled his pain and wrenched his way free, panting.
HP: 15
No damage done to any group member.
You may attack again.

As the lab lunged at Specter, he rolled out of the way just in time, before darting in to clamp down on one of the labs back legs. He soon let go to avoid another attack.

Biss stumbled at a critical point, missing the chance to attack with the others. His nose stung from stubbing it on a telephone pole, giving him extra ire to add to his already defensive stance. As Spectre leapt in for a second round, he dove in immediately after, teeth snapping.

Rostam felt a bit of satisfaction at having successfully prevented the hostile dog from landing an attack on any of his teammates. When the dog pulled itself free from his grip Rostam was quick to follow him. Waiting first for Spectre, then for Bisshalten, to make their moves he followed up quickly with a zigzagging pattern that he hoped would confuse his opponent and then darted in quickly, aiming for the lab's shoulder as he bit down.

Basil was glad that no one had gotten hurt so far. Waiting for an opening he lunged at the vicious lab.

Legs, shoulder, chest. The lab whimpered as teeth seemed to clamp down on every inch of his body, but snapped his teeth at anything that got too close. Unfortunately, he was unable to attach to any skin, and was having difficulty maneuvering enough to attack. Non-the-less, he snarled at Rostam and fought to try to get at him.
HP: 4
No damage done to any group member.
You may attack again.

The lab was going into such a frenzy that Specter's next attack missed as he went for the dogs other rear leg, snapping at it before jumping away once more

Rostam managed to get up on his hind paws just in time to avoid the lab clamping his teeth down on a front leg. With his ears pinned back a vicious snarl was let loose as he came back down onto all four legs and jumped forward again. His jaws clamped down on flesh once again and Rostam shook his head from side to side as if trying to peel the flesh off of the bones.

Growling, Specter took off after the lab before he could get away. He was not willing to let it out of his sight. "Lets go, everyone!"
