 Really, it was hard to imagine Love of all things holed up somewhere and avoiding others - what would he have to gain from that ?
"I certainly can't say that I am surprised, no." Came the amused reply. "Then you must have met many."
Really, maybe knowing who was reborn would be a good thing...

"Many?" Rio thought about it for a moment, running over the list of people he knew, and nodded. "I guess you could say that, although there are also a number I know of, but haven't been fortunate enough to meet yet."
"I only recently met Glyph, although I intended to much sooner. I understand he was travelling, though." And there, a smooth way to brooch the subject without it seeming odd or too forward of him. This way, it was only conversation!

"Like ?" It was curiosity that drove him, but he didn't quite get the answer he'd been looking for.
"Ah... Well, he's indeed pretty busy. Traveling, and then the council..." The dragon gave a nervous tailflick.

"Ah, well. Some I know better than others, and some I haven't seen in quite awhile, but..." Assembling the list in his mind, he began to rattle them off, "Hunt, Wind, Suffocation, Archery, Music, Lament, Insanity, Silence, Shadow, Gaia, Water, River, Light, Plague, Laughter, Trickery, Night, Underworld, Spirit Guide, Winter, Number, both Dreams...and my counterpart of course. I do hope I haven't forgot anyone, but as long as they're not listening, I suppose it doesn't matter." Love grinned.
"That would be difficult to keep up with." Rio tilted his head at the slight evidence of Xun's nervousness. "Ah, sorry. I didn't mean to tread somewhere sensitive." Liiiies. "Is everything alright?"

That seemed like an odd mismatch, in a way. But certainly his Lord had his reasons to bring back gods at whichever time He chose - or perhaps it depended on how easily the loose mana could be gathered again.
Xun Jiang wasn't quite sure.
...Had Love known about Glyph and Illisia ? He wasn't sure. Illisia hadn't been back for long before they'd became one. "Well." The nervousness continued. Perhaps asking Rio for aid wouldn't be so bad ? He was Love, after all. "Glyph and Illisia were lovers." He finally admitted. "And while we are one now, I am not quite sure how I feel." He made a face. "We are friends, but things can be quite strange..."

There was little Adi knew that Rio did not, as his talkative daughter tended to share anything not specifically told her in confidence...and he had talked to Glyph, as well. He knew.
"It is...difficult, sometimes, to be as we are," Love agreed sympathetically. "The pieces of who we were mix in unpredictable ways - memories and emotions of two people blurred together into one. It probably doesn't help that we retain so little memory of our original selves in the first place."
"Not that it's a bad thing to be both," he amended, "Just...confusing, on occasion, until we decide what to do with it all. Or so I've found, anyway."

"It is." The dragon agreed, with a nod of the head. He certainly wouldn't have done it any other way, even if he had the chance to go back. But still, there was a lot to deal with at once - and he was never certain if Glyph saw him as friend, or as lover, as Illisia.
Likewise, he never seemed to be certain how it was that he felt.
"I need to figure it out, but until then, I can't..." Well, Rio could guess, most likely.

It was entirely too easy to talk about Love about his problems, really. These weren't things he'd spoken to anyone else, save perhaps Glyph himself... who had only seen the tip of the iceberg.
"Yes, of course." He nodded. "I only fear that if I take too long, it will only cause him harm... And if I go too fast, the same with happen." It almost seemed like whatever he did, he was bound to mess it up in one way or another.

It seems backwards, I know, but you might be surprised by what comes to you." It was abundantly obvious that Xun did care for Glyph, he just need a...bit of a nudge.
RIo was beginning to think that he would go through with this after all.

"That's right... Augh." The dragon king muttered, resting his head on his knees. "I am sorry, I shouldn't bother you with it. I... made this mess." He laughed, a little bitterly. "And I should be the one to fix it."
He definitively didn't want the whole pantheon mixed up in this, oh hell no. And it was probably a good thing that he couldn't tell what Rio was plotting.

"It's alright," Rio assured him, "It doesn't bother me at all. I can't fix it, but I don't mind listening." Which was sort of a lie, because he could fix it, but telling one of his targets would defeat the purpose!

"Still..." But, really, Rio was right. Certainly he'd had to hear much, much worse ? At least he was on friendly terms with Glyph. "No, you're right. Thank you."
Been there ? That did spark his curiosity, but he wasn't sure if he should ask about it, or if it would be prying. "Does this kind of situation happen often, then ?" Illisia had been more or less accepted with open arms, especially by his brothers - it made him hope the other hosts were just as lucky as she had been.
