Today on One Life to Live, Duke called River Carpenter a jerk to which Adriana replied that Duke never even knew River. What?! Weren't they step brothers when Kevin was married to Cassie? I know that Duke lived with his mom Lee Ann in Texas, but I find it hard to believe that he never would have met his own step brother! sad

Are Jessica and Natalie Duh-blemint Twins?! First Natalie hooks up with that lying, baby-switching son of a pup Paul, now Jessica "is anybody home" Buchanan has agreed to marry El Tiburon. Wait, they can't be Duh-blemint twins because then they would have to have the sense to chew gum and think at the same time!

Okay, maybe that was way harsh, but Vicki is one really smart and classy lady. Why can't her "twins" be more like her?

Hehe...awesome idea *points at the gum* xd
As for River...maybe Andrew had sole custody of him at the time? If I remember correctly(which I might not on this) Cassie was married to Andrew when she had the affair with Kevin. Somewhere along the way they got divorced and she got married to Kevin...I can't remember how long they were married, though. I remember Kevin slept with Joey's girlfriend(the crazy nurse, Barbara) when Todd locked them in the wine cellar. But was that when he was married to Cassie still?
*cough*
Now, to switch gears...OLTL is almost unwatchable. Jessica engaged to Tico????? I figure they would date, but she's only known him 3 monthes...I just can't buy in to it. Nor can I swallow Antonio and the possibilty of Sonia. Ick. Then David and Kelly kissing stare The Love Shack.... >.< The gay tolerance message is the only good thing to come out of that mess and while the message is good, the story isn't all that memorable.
I want to see more old favorites and less of the stupid Santi family sad

Jessica is a victim of the Santi Storyline - her character has been absolutly ruined xp
"I'm so in love with Tico!" Oh bleh! She's only known the man 3 monthes gonk
The Jessica I know and love would never have agreed to marry him, no matter how confused she was. Date him or sleep with him yes, but marry him, no way crying

From some of the viewer feed back in Soap Opera Digest, some people of Hispanic or Latino descent are crying foul at the negative response to the Santi storyline. I don't think they understand that most of the negative feedback has nothing to do with the Santi's heritage. At least I know that their culture plays no part in me not liking the story. I am African American and if Denzel Washington and Halle Berry played Tico and Sonia, I would still hate this pile of muck!! xp I hate any story that has been forced upon me, regardless of who the actors are involved. I only wish that OTL could read my plea and stop that insanity that is John and Evangeline. Not because they are an interracial couple, which I have no problem with (check out my sig surprised ), but because they are as boring as dishwater and to try and liven things up, they are always going at it like rabbits!!! Honestly, they may be the first couple that has no idea what the other one looks like with their clothes ON!!!

The only good thing that can come from Joh and Van is possibly a triangle with Natalie. They need to give Evangeline an edge. She's too goody goody....
The problem with the Santi story(IMHO) is the fact that almost all of it is built on off-screen foundations. And then that messes with other dynamics...I mean, I remember the days when Carlotta use to work as Dorian's maid. All of that really doesn't fit with their current, deep relationship and Carlotta's former commitment to keeping Adrianna hidden. 0_o Plus, I found it hard to really get into a story line about a powerful mob boss whom we never see. And since it's daytime we get little more than "he was a terrible man with a bad temper."
So, who do you think Paul Kramer? ninja

It will probably turn out to be Tico so that whole storyline can be put to bed.

momma1 It will probably turn out to be Tico so that whole storyline can be put to bed. I almost hope so just so that it will end. Oh....I haven't seen a worse storyline in years stressed Sonia needs to be shot and off the show in the process. No one has irritated me more on OLTL since Sam and Ben's stupid sister Grace(who fell in love with Kevin while he was married to Cassie, then died his arms) What happened with all that silly stuff at the love shack with a ghost? I stopped paying attention and BOOM the center was done! Not that I care much. That was another storyline that needed to be put out of it's misery sweatdrop Is anyone else finding Marcie's book storyline really stupid? I find it hard to believe that she wrote novel in about 3-6 monthes that not only caught the attention of an editior in the slush pile, but earned her a literary agent, too xp I'm looking forward to Christian's return. Maybe he'll fix Antonio's broken brain.

I loved Christian when he was on the show, but I am not really looking forward to his return. I want John and Natalie to be together and they can not do that with Chris around. Maybe if I thought that David Fumero was actually going to stick around, I would invest more in this upcoming storyline. Whenever he and Erin Torpey (The REAL Jessica) break up, he comes back on the show. If they get back together, he will probably leave again to be with her.

I also want John and Nat together...but Christian pretty much kills that. Oh well. I'm not entierly sure I like him with Evangeline. They're just such a boring couple. The most exciting storyline so far is the guy who attacked her for being in an interracial relationship on the same day she was honored for being a black lawyer rolleyes That's not exciting romance....
I didn't know he and Erin were dating eek That's neat! Er...if he's back it must mean they'r enot dating now, though whee I really like her and I miss her as Jessica. I know a lot of people like Bree, but, I dunno, I've never fully warmed up to her.
I hope the David/Kelly thing is dropped. I don't like it at all stare

Me either. They have 0 chemistry, not to mention what it would do to Dorian if she found out. David and the old Kelly would have made sense because of their past, and I know it is SUPPOSED to be the same character. But as usual, when someone new takes over the role, the writers re-invent everything about the character. Case in point: GH's Emily, OL's Jessica, GH's AJ, AWT's Hal. Dorian should put them both out of La Boule!!

When they brought Kelly back they seriously changed her character. Er...may I even say ruined her. She was such a fun character before, but now she's a whiney basket case. Old Kelly never would have stolen a baby sweatdrop
I kinda like the changes in Kevin. It was nice to see his feud with Todd start up again and I'm kind of enjoying his somewhat ruthless side. I like the new actor, though, quite a bit. Previous Kevin was not a big fav of mine.
I was a little against Chris and Natalie at first because of John, but when they were exchanging their vows yesterday I almost cried. It was so sweet.

Maybe its just me, but I felt more passion between Antonio and Christian about his return than between Natalie and Christian. Antonio took his "brother" into his arms and you could see the tears in his eyes and hear the mixed emotions in his voice...Maybe Kamar is just a better actor than Melissa, cause to me, her excitement at knowing that Chris was alive fell very flat.
