Has anyone else had a really hard time staying interested in the current storylines? I've all but stopped watching this summer...

The Love Center - Quite possibly one of the dumbest plots I've seen in a long time. At least they seem to have dropped the reality TV aspect of it where people were confessing in front of Jen's camera and she was making a documentery...of course, now the construction site is haunted sweatdrop

The Santis - I just can't bring myself to care...I like the people at the center of the story, but...I dunno...I just can't seem to get excited. And I rather suspect that Antonio is going to be revealed to be the second and, presumably dead, Santi son...maybe Carlotta was Manuel's wife instead of sister?

John & Evangeline - They keep sort of throwing out feelers and possibilities of an RJ/John/Evangeline triangle or a John/Evangeline/Natalie triangle or even some form of quadrangle possibly involving Paul...but then they back away and just let John and Van flounder around. I had a hard time accepting that John just fell into bed with Van(especially the circumstances - talk about unprofessional...they're trying to protect someone on the run from the mob and while waiting for her they have sex in her bed and are still in bed when she returns...nice -_-) Especially after all the sexual tension/drama that eventually pushed Natalie away from him...

Adrianna & River - I actually kinda liked them, though from what I've gathered I'm in the minority >.< As it is, River is off the show and Adrianna has become possibly preggers and very whiney because of it. I'm guessing the show wants to pair her with Duke.

Kevin and Kelly - I actually don't have many complaints with this storyline. I like Kevin evil and Kelly nuts ^^

Todd & Blair - They got back together, so the good stuff is over with. I'm not finding the revenge plot to take control of Asa's mansion the most thrilling evil they've ever hatched, but it will do.

*had the time to read it* ww...i missed a bunch o crap there...sounds like a good thing i missed the summer. bla bla bla is what i was felling there...oi-ve. really people at least keep it intersting!

I HATE THE NEW 'todd' *cries* wants old tod back, for some reason with the scar and all he seemed crazyer. and that actor just looked crazy. *le sigh*

This stupid show is runing my fav. couple David and dorian curse them

I've never really warmed up to Trevor St. James, not because of his acting abilities, but because when he arrived in town as Walker/Todd it just totally went against who Todd was. Todd would hide in the shadows, but he wouldn't have tricked Blair and his entire family that way. He certainally never would have waited even a second to reconnect with his kids, especially Star. Walker told her that he was Todd eventually, but it took too long. Todd was always good at taking what he wanted and to hell with the cirsumstances. Remember when he "died" and then came back from Ireland? Todd was Todd. He didn't pretend to be anyone else. He wanted Blair back and he caught her with Patrick so he tried to kill Patrick multiple times and ended up with Blair anyway.

This whole "Todd lost his scar and that's symbollic of the slate being wiped clean" thing just doesn't fly for me. Todd has evil in him. The best storylines came from watching Todd battle his dark side.

I mean, Todd is such a nice guy now....he's really not any worse than, say, David Vickers. I can't imagine our current Todd stealing and selling Blair's baby...

I was thrilled when he and Blair left a supossedly crazy Asa tied to a tree in the middle of no where because that was a Todd thing to do.

I remember reading an article in a soap magazine some years back where they were talking about why Roger wouldn't return to role of Todd. Schedule conflicts aside, Roger didn't like the direction they were taking the character. He felt that Todd should not be redeemed and he didn't want to have any part in playing a "good" Todd.
