Putting on his jacket, Shun soon nodded to Hel. He was fine with stopping by her room first. It was just below them after all.
"Of course. Let's go," he said while making his way out the room, pausing just for a moment for the Valkyrie to follow. He didn't bother asking where she had in mind exactly. The Reaper trusted her to pick out a good pizza parlor that wouldn't end up poisoning one way or another.
If not, there might be some Hel to pay.

“Alright!’ Hel cheered, pumping a fist into the air before she followed Shun out of his room. It was rather quick, stopping at her room to drop off her bag of jerky and to grab her heavier quilted tunic. It was then a march off to a pizza place Hel had been to once or twice that was acceptable. The ghoul flagged down someone to seat them, and was then led to a booth that was tucked away in a corner.
Flopping in her seat, the ghoul seemed to have some things to chat Shun’s ear off about.
“So, friend, I have plans for after I graduate!”

Shun followed along quietly as they headed to the parlor. Once they were there, he settled down in his seat and idly looked at the menu. Well the pictures at least. When Hel spoke up, he glanced over to her.
"Oh? What are those? " he asked curiously.
It seems that the future was coming up a lot lately.

Hel shrugged off her quilted tunic and tried to smooth down her hair, but didn’t succeed very well. She left it as is, and didn’t even bother looking at the menu. She knew what she wanted. A pizza. Duh. Meat lovers. Duh. “Ya! I decided that after I leave Amity and become a Trick or Treater, I am going to find myself a piece of property that is out in the country…like…a bit outside of a major town with a train station, and near a water way…and then I am going to build my cottage there!” She grinned, “You will come and visit me lots, ya?”

Shun had an idea of what he wanted as well. He just wanted to look at a few things. Looking up towards Hel, he wasn't too surprised to hear what her plan of action was. "Doesn't sound like a bad idea. And sure. As long as you tell me where it is."Unless she wanted him to try and track her down... That was likely doable. Especially if he did end up going back to working with the Kuroda.

Hel laughed. “Of course I will! I mean, for a while, all you will probably be visiting is a tent until the cottage is finished…but ah, one step at a time!”
She was about to just start prattling on more until a server came by to take their order, and Hel paused. “Oh…I know what I want! Do you know what you want?” She looked over at the grim. “Or you just want to share a really big one?”

At first he raised an eyebrow at that, but then he just slowly shook his head in amusement. She wasn't kidding when she meant she was going to build her own place it seemed.
"I have an idea, but I wouldn't mind sharing either. It'd probably be easier that way. Especially with the way you eat."

Hel threw her arms into the air. “Two large meat lovers!” She exclaimed. Apparently that was her idea of sharing. Jotting down their order and leaving them with some glasses and a pitcher of water, the server took off.
Now that that was done, Hel went back to the topic at hand. “So ya. Those are my plans…nothing too grand or extravagant…heh…” She played with her fingers idly for a moment, in thought, before she spoke up again. “Shun…? Did you have expectations when you first came here…? Do you think in your time here…those have changed at all…?”

Shun furrowed his brow at that. That... wasn't entirely what he had in mind, but it mattered little. Pouring himself some water, he took a sip of his drink, he soon paused at the question tossed towards him.
"No. I didn't really have any expectations. I was sent here more or less for training purposes. To improve and become more competent and partially so Kaitou wouldn't have to deal with training or teaching me himself for awhile."
He soon shrugged.
"So you could say that things have and hadn't changed. In a way I just expected that I would be here, do my work. Learn whatever. Get stronger, then go on my way. I didn't expect to get close to anyone."

Hel listened, nodding her head a bit. In a way, her and Shun were alike because of why they were here. Training. To better themselves…but how they got here were completely different. Hel came on her own for herself…and Shun well…because of his father. That man she had happened to meet at the Halloween celebration…
“Ya…I understand what you mean.” She murmured. Things had changed, but they hadn’t. “Are you glad you are here?” She asked.

"I am. If it weren't for me being here, I would have never met Mitsu... or you too for that matter," he said quietly. Hel, while having gotten on his nerves at times, was a good friend. A brother in arms. She was reliable in battle and in dire times as far as he was concerned, which was a valuable thing.
"What about you?"

Hel smiled widely, and nodded her head. Yes, Mitsu! He must have been very grateful for tha—D’AWWWWWWWWWWWWW.
Hel felt the warm fuzzies again.
She grinned widely at him.
“Ya…I feel the same. I feel like my life would not be as…” She seemed to struggle with the words, and was making round shapes with her hands, as if this would help get her message across. “…Well…let us put it this way…I am saddened by the thought of not having you and my other friends in my life. I can not imagine not knowing any of you.” She trailed off for a moment. “…Sometimes though…sometimes I wonder too. If I had not come here…I would still have my wings.”
She smiled a bit crookedly. “Heh…I do not regret it though. Funny enough. I also think my expectations have changed as well. When I first came here…I imagined myself having many, many, maaaaaany friends…and big and grand plans after I graduate…not so much now.”

"And I'd still have my left eye," he said, shrugging lightly. Granted, he didn't consider his loss to be as bad as Hel's. They both had adapted well enough, but hers was a greater impact. If he had gone completely blind however... then that would be a different story.
"Sometimes things are best kept simple anyway," Shun replied.
"And I believe it's easier to manage a smaller band of those you truly trust."

Yup. Shun was right. He’d still have his eye too.
The ghoul nodded her head. “Ya. Simple is best.” She laughed. “That I do agree with.” She nodded her head again as well. “Ya! Agreed as well! I do like having just a handful of friends.” She trailed off again, but before she could think of another topic, the pizzas were brought out and placed on the table, along with some plates. “Oooh…it smells good!”
She rubbed her hands together, and already pulled three pieces off of the platter.

Nodding quietly, Shun's attention shifted as the pizza was brought out. It was... a lot of pizza. And that was indeed a lot of meat loaded on top. Shaking his head to himself, he pulled a slice onto his own plate. Starting with one would be good to begin with.
He went ahead and took a bite out of it, chewing slowly to get a better idea of the taste.
"Not bad," he commented after swallowing, "Good choice in parlor."
