Gregory Benzin Markus
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

Gregory was flying through the air both the fields. He was going at his own pace looking for a good spot to land. However night was setting upon the world already. If he wanted to choose a spot it would have to be soon while he had light to see up through this distance. Seeing an open place he flew down to the ground quickly. His landing though wasn't really pretty as he almost fell over entirely on his arrival. It was obvious that he wasn't a master at flying at all. It would have been hard to prove that he was an ALO player if anyone else had seen his display. No matter he didn't exactly care to prove himself through flight anyhow. Now that he had landed safely he took hold of the lance on his back. This was no longer a town, no longer a safe area. When it came to places like this he played safe and was always on guard. After all he hated death penalties ever sense he experienced them.

It was difficult to see without the sun light. The moon light however provided him with just enough light to see what he was targeting. Moving through the grass lands Gregory kept to a slow quiet pace. With the spear in hand he was ready for any sort of battle. He looked intent on getting himself some kills. Like a hunter searching for his prey. A warm but calm breeze rush across the grounds. It was nice, gentle, relaxing. He almost wanted to give up hunting in order to enjoy the night itself. After all it was a full moon making it a perfect scene. The sound of snarling broke that thought instantly. Turning quickly Gregory was met with the sight of his first enemies. A pack of wolves, three in total. The wolves didn't attack right off the bat though. They instead tried to surround the man by getting at him from all sides. The intelligence of the enemies already felt realistic. He held up his spear in a defensive position. Then a cheeky smile appeared on the mans lips. He was going to enjoy this fight.

The snarls from the wolves became more aggressive. They were about to strike. Gregory kept his thoughts on the situation at hand. Two wolves remained in front of him trying to pressure him into backing up. The last was flanking him to his right and he kept that in mind. No matter what it was going to be difficult to get out of this situation without a scratch on him. He had a choice to make. Take on the two in front of him and then be attacked by the flanker; turn around to get the flanker only to be attacked from behind by two wolves; or wait for them to attack first. Even with the thoughts he remained calm, the smile still apparent. His choice was made for him as the wolf from behind jumped at him. Quickly the man turned holding his weapon up in response. The wolf's fangs bite down on the pole arm making it a successful block. The other two wolves saw their chance and rushed Gregory without a second thought. Reacting swiftly he threw the wolf still biting on his weapon at the other two. One was smart enough to get out of the way while the thrown collided with its comrade knocking them both down. The man wasn't fast enough to block the next attack though being hit by the next wolf's bite. In response he knocked the attacker off of his arm then swiftly jabbed his spear into the creature's gut. This forced it to back off a little from being injured. The man pursued his target though not giving it a chance. Using the long reach of his weapon he was able to hit it with a strong thrust. Just like that the wolf burst into data signifying its defeat. The other two wolves recovered by this time and rushed Gregory while his back was turn. He never forgot about them though and turned quickly to engage them.

"That was easy enough." Gregory said to himself as the last wolf blew into colorful shards. His voice sounded a bit cocky in that instance. Who wouldn't blame him though. It was a three on one situation and he came out victorious. He was even sure that alpha wolf was a level two. Yet they couldn't handle a level one. Still they were meant to be easily defeated enemies which didn't make it all impressive. Though he couldn't help but feel accomplished for it being his first fight. However he had a long way to go before anything else could start happening for him. Through the rest of the night he kept to himself fighting off low level enemies. Eventually the sun rose up upon the hunting grounds. Gregory had gained a level through the night but was running low on health. Not only that he was feeling tired due to the endeavor. It was time to call it quits. He called upon his wings then flew back into the town of beginnings.

XXXBefore landing, he muttered a few words under his breath as one area of the island became secluded, creating a safe zone between their landing-zone and the animal hoard. Tossing the pair safely to onto the island once his timer ended, he grabbed onto the ledge of the island, sighing in relief. Effortlessly pulling himself up over the lip of the island, he sighed once his feet were firmly planted on the ground. "Well, that was a close one." He said in relief, rolling his arm and stretching whilst he waited for Chacho to land. While Koku was a level one, he needed to know what Nimm's skill level was. Turning around, he accessed his moderator panel. She was almost a level three, and her combat and speed were decent for her specific skill set. Her unique ability was one that he had personally developed for the player who was most apt to handle the complete control of another entity along with their selves; at least he knew who got it. Closing the menu, he turned back to the group with a smile."Seeing as you two are the main people who need to level here, Chacho and myself will play the support players while y'all play forward. Don't worry about getting hit, because we'll heal you before anything too terrible happens. Also, if you feel overwhelmed, just let us switch in and you can take a break. Sound like a plan?" He asked, smile plastered on his face with his hands on his hips. This was going to be interesting, seeing the two fight against the incredibly large hoard of both boar and wolves.

Chacho

Chacho touched down right as her wings disappeared and Lola dived to her side. She nodded agreement with Taki, murmuring a couple of spells she was granted as she leveled up her magic. These spells would temporarily increase their attack and defense, but it would only last for a half an hour at a time. She flipped through her available skills making a note of each before closing her menu and equipping her sword. She checked over Lola's skills, she would be attacking as well, but she wouldn't kill the creatures, just so the two could gain as much EXP as possible. She looked up to Taki. Ready whenever you are.

Regaining his balance, Koku stood up and brushed himself off. Regaining his composure, he drew his dagger. Seeing that both Chacho and Taki were ready to help, he stood at the ready by the water barrier. He saw the masses of monsters, and almost felt intimidated. Grasping his dagger even tighter, He looked back at Nimm to see if she was ready, then spoke to Taki without looking back, "Lets do this..."

Nimm let out a slight oof as she rolled onto the ground. She brushed herself off lightly and got up, feeling somewhat sore. Hearing Taki's plan, the Imp nodded. "Right. Got it." She moved forward and looked over at the monster mobs. Whistling, she commented, "That is a lot...but I can handle it!" Nimm unsheathed her sword and stood poised to attack, but not before taking a quick glance at Koku. "Ready when you are...or not! Let's go!" Without waiting for Koku's response, she rushed forward, using her wings as an extra lift to get to her location faster. Immediately, she slashed at a boar, moving herself gracefully through the crowd of monsters. It was easy. The algorithms of the monsters never changed too much, and it was easy to guess their movements. Especially after locating their weak points, it made it even easier to fight. Nimm stabbed a wolf in the neck and scored a critical hit, making the remnants of its HP go down. Whirling around, she chose her next target, one of the many boars on the island.

It was now Gregory's second time within the hunting grounds. This time it was mid day and he had a perfect view of every thing. Slowly he glided through the air looking at a place to where he land. There was a lot more people out and about at this time. So there was very few spots for him to be training at. However he decided that may this place was a bit to easy for him. He kept flying to find a place a bit more challenging. Eventually his flight timer was getting low. If his wings gave out he would surely die from the fall. It wouldn't be the best way to go out either. Looking ahead he saw a small floating island that he could land on. Using all of his speed he rushed through the air. Three, two, one and in a blink of an eye his wings vanished. His momentum kept him sorrowing towards the island at a fast speed. Though he started dropping at an accelerated rate as he kept going. There was a chance that he wouldn't make it. However luck was on his side. He just crossed the edge of the island crashing onto the dirt below. For a while he slid, skidded, and rolled across the ground eventually being stopped when he crashed into boulder. It looked painful and was very painful indeed. Not only that his health bar began dropping leaving him in the critical red zone. "Ouch...." He said to himself as he sat up. Quickly he pulled out a healing potion he still had began to drink. His hp began to rise and the pain along with it. It was good to know that pain wasn't too much of an issue on these games. That would of left him crippled from just pain alone if it wasn't for the limiters. He took a moment to rest and recuperate. He survived the ordeal and he felt such a rush. Laughter began to escape from him. "Now that. Hahaha! That was way too close. I should pay more attention if I am going to get anywhere." Getting to his feet he smiled happily. "Now time to see whats on this island." Grabbing his spear he began to explore the island seeing what it had to offer.

XXXShaking his head and smiling lightly, Taki decided to cover the new-comer to the group. Before things got too out of hand, he equipped his bow and arrows to his person, using a certain ability to allow the bow to float freely by his side, arrow notched and drawn. He equipped his basic items for now, planning to save his other items for the dungeon. Muttering quietly under his breath, he began to heal Nimm as she began to take out the hoard of monsters that began to close in on the two forwards. Hopefully they wouldn't need the healing too much, because both Chacho and himself only needed healing after the entire wave had been cleared. Of course he couldn't expect the same skill level from the newcomer, but he knew that Koku could pull his fair share of the monsters. One wolf ducked around Nimm's blade, only to have an arrow collide with his torso, his heart being almost surgically lanced. He healed the girl absentmindedly, keeping the majority of his attention on the actual details of the fight.

Jayson Matthews

Jayson slowed his sprint to a moderate jog. He pulled his sword out and looked around. The mid-day sun heated his body, and made the colors around him become blinding. He heard the Snarls before he registered the threat. Spinning to his left Jayson pulled his sword from over his shoulder, and carved the first wolf of the day. The wolves now gave him low-count points that really made little difference to him. He only killed the wolves to get their bones to make a 'Wolf's Bone Sword.' Jay continued through the Hunting grounds, searching for Trolls. He began running and lept to the air, red wings unfurling from his coat. A shockwave pulsated from him as he kicked the air, signalling Jayson's burst into flight. He rocketed to the trees, searching for suitable leveling targets.

Jay was truly impressed with how fast he had become, simply from using flight for combat assistance, instead of transportation. As he dodged between the trees he slashed any of the wolves he passed. When he hit the darker part of the forest his wings folded and Jayson fell from the sky, rolling across the ground to prevent health loss. Jayson had found the best troll hunting ground. He started to stalk around through the trees, increasing his stealth ability. The use of his hunting tactic increased his level and he reached lvl 10. There was a pinging sound and a Notification flashed before him.

'You have reached Level 10: Unique Ability Unlocked: Dual Weilding.
New Weapon Unlocked
Primary Weapon Increased Level
Congradulations.
Would you like to activate Ability?
{ACCEPT} {DECLINE}

Jayson accepted the notification and his Scimitar flashed gold and transformed: Rai Kun Scimitar

In front of him another weapon began to materialize: Dragon Blood Scimitar

Jay grabbed the sword with his right hand, and spun it in his hand. The skill filled him with knowlege of the forms, but he knew he had to train with it. He had to make it fast, and precise. Jayson looked back to the darkness of the trees, and smiled. When the sword materialized he had alerted all the animals near him, and was now faced with wolves and trolls alike. Jayson charged forward, swinging his blades, at first rather clumsily but after a few swings the attacks appeared fluent and graceful. The first victim of the attack was a Shadow Wolf, and a normal field wolf. Jay continued to slash in multiple directions, feeling Troll claws tear through his back. His health dropped from green to yellow, with just the one attack. s**t! That's only three attacks!! He thought as he jumped, using his wings to hover as he spun in the air, slicing to of the troll heads from the body. A second pain climbed up his body as a wolf bit his leg, leaving red pixel streaks across his thigh. Jay crossed his swords into an 'X' and slashed the wolf, then after connecting the attack he spun and sliced the remaining wolf. The trolls bumped his sword skills, as well as his Flight, Dual weild, and General Skill level. He blipped twice as he grew to a new level, and the option for him to mix and match his weapons became available. Jay smiled realizing that the day was so young, and his power was about to excell.

Chacho

Chacho giggled as Nimm raced off, she certainly was an ambitious one. She noticed Taki was covering her, so naturally, she would be supporting Koku. Ready whenever you are, doofus. She grinned, buffing him again before sending out Lola to lower the HP of the monsters so they'd be faster to kill. With the experience that was trickling in from the squad, she could see she wasn't far from leveling again. Though she knew it would take much more than this.

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

The island itself seemed like a peaceful place. Gregory was being to wonder if there was any point to the place at all. So far it was just a floating island with some pretty scenery on it. If this place had any thing to fight then it then any sort of creature would have shown up by now. Then again it was a floating island, it was doubtful that any creatures without wings would live up here. What was he talking about of course there would be land creatures up here! It was a game for gods sake and wasn't realistic, no matter how realistic the game felt. After a bit he discovered a cave opening in one of the hills. Being a curious fellow he decided to venture inside. Though immediately it began difficult to see after a few twists and turns. There was no source of light in this place besides the entrance. He tried closing his eyes for a bit staying completely still. Upon opening them again his eyes adjusted a little being able to see that outline of several objects ahead of him. His attention became focused one something laying against the wall in front of him. Getting closer to it he was able to make out what it was, a skeleton. He backed away as if expecting it to come to live. It didn't move in the slightest for it was just a dead pile of remains. Gregory moved back towards it a bit more to see that it had something in its hand. In its hand laid a dusty old looking pickaxe. This might have been put here for just dramatic effect but it appeared that a miner died here long ago. "Rest in peace you have done well in your trials." He said to the pile of bones before taking the pickaxe for himself. Instantly he put the item into his inventory and then looked on the path ahead of him. "Nah....I will come back here later. When I at least have a torch of something." Turning back he went back the way he came.

Upon exiting the cave Gregory was greeted by the warm sunlight. He shade his eyes from the brightness for it stung his eyes. Once his eyes adjusted back to the light he saw that creatures actually did spawn on this floating island. They were still basic looking boar and wolves but there sure was a lot of them here. The who group would pack a hefty amount of exp for those who beat them. It was like a private training area. With the thought in mind he grinned liking the idea of having his own private place to himself. It might have been a bit greedy to think that but it was only apart of human nature. With his spear in hand ready he charged the pack to engage. The first couple of enemies were taken down easily by just a couple of stabs and slashes. Once he got to the middle of the pack though he was greeted by a freakishly large boar that charged him on sight. Foolishly he tried to block only for it to be broken and himself becoming trampled. It was a heavy hit to his hp but he was fine to take at least one more hit like that. Quickly he got to his feet turning to the enemy that was already stampeding towards him again. This time he instead jumped out of the way not wanting to take that damage again. The large boar was faster then expected and the fact that it hit like a truck didn't help his situation either. Gregory had an idea though. As it came around it again it charged him without a second thought. This time when he dodged the raging boar he used the long reach of his spear to strike at the beast's legs. It lost its footing causing it to trip and slide across the dirt as it fell. With the creature down the man took his chance and jumped at it with his spear ready to go. His used his pole arms skill 'plunge' which hit directly into the beasts stomach. This did a major amount of damage. The boar thrashed about throwing Gregory off it, then it got itself to its feet. "Your a bulky combatant you are." He said complimenting the beasts massive amount of hp. His attack 'plunge' was supposed to do double the amount of damage on a knocked down opponent. It usually one hit weaker enemies. The fact that the angry boar survived with more then thirty five percent of hits health remaining was pretty astounding. The rage induced beasts charged Gregory again not learning it lesson from the first time. Again the man was able to trip up the monstrosity easily and land a finishing blow. With the creature defeated it granted him level up. "Now that was satisfying." He said with a smile. Looking around there was still more enemies to be taken down in the area.

Seeing Nimm rush in front of him gave him a rush that he never felt before, and now Lola was leading the way for fast leveling, it was time to finally become a power player. He raced behind Lola attacking anything she did. of course the creature did more damage than him, so all he really had to do was finish them off, it was a good system and would prove effective. His first kill was a boar. He saw Lola slashing it, so he took a shot to its face and it's code incinerated right before him. the cat was already flying to the next target, so he of course followed. attack after attack, it was fluid movement. He started losing count of all the monsters that were dying, between him and Nimm, they were going to be past level 10 in no time, A stray wolf managed to attack Koku from the back. Startled, he turned around and stabbed it in the neck, not only was it a critical hit but it was also his first one hit kill. "I'm clearly progressing." He went back to following the cat and killing whatever she touched.

It became a repetition of endless movement, yet Nimm didn’t complain. She loved the feeling of being in control, her sword whooshing through the air to attack yet another monster. A boar had managed to run into her, shaving off some of her HP, but not in enough to send it into the yellow zone. Soon she had leveled up again, and Nimm stopped for a few seconds to distribute points to her AGI, STR, and VIT. The mobs of monsters never seemed to diminish, for some reason the respawn seemed faster than usual. But that was of no matter. She would level up faster if there were more monsters to fight. Nimm continued fighting, using <> to quickly destroy the wolf she was fighting. At this rate, she would probably soon gain enough exp to level up yet again.

Chacho

Chacho's voice rang out across the island, above the clamor of swords and beasts. She called out healing spells every time she saw the slightest drop of HP, those two had no worried of dying. Even if they did, that wasn't a problem, not with her there anyway, but she'd rather not get to that point at all. She noticed a couple of wolves pursuing Koku from behind and shouted another spell, the two were suddenly engulfed by flames and collapsed within the next couple strides. Chacho raised her eyebrows, surprised at herself. Her magic had certainly leveled significantly since the start of the game. With a satisfied nod, she cast another buff spell on the two before returning to her healing spells.
Lola was going crazy. Without any control from her master, she was free to attack as she pleased. A boar careened out of nowhere into her side, sending her flying and her hp dropped significantly. The feline whipped around, attacking and killing that particular boar before going after the mobs again, but now a little more slowly.

XXXEven though the forwards were fighting it out, Taki had to do very little magic to keep the two at full health. Chacho's magic ability far surpassed his own, and she eventually took over for him all together. Having stopped trying to help, he reequipped his sunglasses and began looking down to the hunting grounds. Using his sunglasses to zoom in, he noticed another player battling on the floating island nearby. "I'll be right back, babe." Taki said to Chacho, flapping his wings lightly to get him off the ground before he jetted off. Flying up and off the islna,d he cruised over to the other island, observing the area. There was a few monsters on the island, though it was a lot lower rank than the one he just left. Swooping down, he fired three arrows from his bow, striking down a group of wolves nearby with headshots, the floating bow returning to his back as he approached the player, staying hidden the whole time. His sneak skill was enhanced, so he blended in almost perfectly with the environment. A lance user? This early in the game? Interesting... He thought, cracking a slight smile as he watched him get slightly knocked around. When is he going to start using any of the spear-skill? He wondered, beginning to debate whether or not he should get involved in the brawl.

Gregory took a moment to choose which group of enemies to attack. There wasn't much variety from the groups so it really didn't matter too much. All of them were either boars or wolves easily dealt with enemies. He got his sights on the nearest group of wolves them making them his target. Readying his spear he charged them with no fear at all. He already had a plan in mind. The group of enemies noticed him right as he jumped into the middle of them. The wolves tried to jump at him, they were too slow however. His reflexes were quick and he instantly pulled off one of his skills. Spinning rapidly he hit all four wolves with <> knocking them all down, but doing barely any damage. Quickly he was able to follow up with a <> taking out one of the wolves instantly. The rest had recovered instantly jumping at Gregory the moment they were able. Two of them got a hit on him but didn't do much damage due to him out leveling them quite a bit. Unfortunately for the last one it got struck by the sharp end of the spear taking heavy damage. With another quick slash it was defeated leaving the only two. They didn't stand chance being easily taken out in one or two strikes. With them dealt with he brushed off his hands putting the spear on to his back. "These things aren't giving much exp now. Maybe I should find some stronger creatures after finishing the rest." He said to himself while turning back to the rest of the groups in the distance. Something was off though. He felt that there was a way fewer number now. He was keeping track of how many he defeated and how many in total he saw. The numbers were wrong from what they should of been. Grabbing the spear on his back again he became cautious. He was the only player on this island right?
