Heyo! First off, gotta say, you look really pretty! ^-^
Anyway, I'm also Trans-les. I don't think it's uncommon... Though I haven't met many MtF people really. But I'm not gonna stop being me anytime soon. If that makes me a tomboy, so be it! =P

justbeingme82 Hello ladies! smile First real post on the guild here, so please be gentle 4laugh Basically I'm transgendered [MtF] and growing up always went with the belief, the more feminine I looked and acted, the more natural I'd look and seem to everyone. In reality, it made me stick out even more. A fair number of MtF transfolk tend to do that, to be as fem as possible. While it works for some, it just becomes glaringly obvious with many others. I mean I'm no damn model, but I don't think I look like a wreck either... [see below] As I've gotten older and continued my HRT, I've come to embrace the more masculine parts about myself and am now finding myself wondering, is it that uncommon to find a MtF tomboy? Just curious what you ladies thought. Hope everyone has had a great day so far! heart to you all This is a tad late as a comment but meh... Let me first say: You look adorable, pretty, and gorgeous! (Yes all three apply or at least I think so) Second: If I had not read that you were MtF trans I would never have guessed it. (I mean this as a compliment btw) Third: I don't think it's that uncommon. I've become friends with quite a few MtF trans that are tomboyish over the years and I think it suits them fine. So I wouldn't worry about it o:

First off- That's amazing! Your SOOOOOOOOO pretty! Secondly- Way to go sister! You be who you are and screw all the HATERS! Thirdly- I don't happen to be a MtF, but I am a huge tomboy. I have gotten so much grief for it. I mean it's ridiculous. So what if I like to wear guy clothing!? So what if I like guy-ish activities!? I mean come on people. And as a matter of fact I've met more super girly lesbians. As for the MtF, I've met about fifty percent that are tomboy's and tomboy-ish.

I still get loads of BS where I live [although living in the 'Great State of Texas' really probably doesn't help my situation any...Lol! Anyhoo, thank you each so very much and hugs and kisses to all you beautiful ladies! <3

I would say your welcome, but all I did was speak what I find to be the truth. And again, I know I'm just a random stranger- but I love to help out. So if you ever need to talk to somebody or just need to vent- I'm always available. Unless said otherwize, everything said in private stays private.
(just like the saying "what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas" which, as that is my home city I can tell you is a pretty big lie 60% of the time. XD)

xX-DeathsPet-Xx res novae justbeingme82 res novae I think you're beautiful! I barely know anything about the trans community, but I think that you should be yourself. Do whatever you feel most comfortable and happy with. smile If you feel like a tomboy, then be a tomboy! I don't think there's anything wrong with that. I know I totally agree, it's just I've gotten some grief from a handful of people in the LGBT community here where I live because they are like well if you were born male and you still have and want to 'keep' many of those masculine qualities about you, why didn't you just stay as a man and crossdress...? I have literally LOL'd in some of their faces. There's feminine genetic males [some straight and some gay] and even some trans men are still fairly feminine. And then theres genetic women who are butch or more masculine [and again, some are lesbians and some are straight], so I have told these people 'Why can't you have a transgirl who's a tomboy or a transboy who's a tomgirl? Anyhoo, sorry for ranting. Haha just wanted to get a second opinion that maybe there was just something I wasn't getting... OH! And thank you for the kind words 4laugh *facepalms* Really, I hear stories like this and it frustrates me. We're supposed to be understanding and non-judgmental about sexuality and gender, because we're queer ourselves. We all have struggled in some way because of it. And then for us to look at someone else and be like, "Well, you're not typical. Something is wrong with you." Just... frustrates me! *long sigh* Sexuality is fluid. And gender is fluid (especially for trans people). One day you could feel feminine, and the next more masculine. It's normal. It's very normal. And just like how you can find a masculine straight women out there. You can also find a masculine MtF out there. It doesn't make her any less of a woman in either case. Hahaha I just spit out my tea when I saw your *facepalm* because that has literally happened a time or two for me in those situations! And yes, again I couldn't agree more, everything about is fluid, not just figuratively, but LIETERALLY as well! I mean c'mon, the human body is what, 75% water or something? lol And thank you for your words also Res! smile May I just say that I'm glad that I'm not the only one who either face palmed or sat there with a dumbfounded look upon my face? Lawdy, here we are, all apart of the LGBT community, getting ignorance-feed hate from outside, I can't believe it's still kicking with hypocrisy by our own people.
Despite whatever we face in life, the one truth is that at least someone out there is going through the same thing as we are. Hell, at times some countries out East have it right, like one country that recognizes five genders. Not two, like most of the world. (Please don't ask me which one, it was on an episode of Taboo and I can't jog that memory to save my life), ((meaning entirely that as soon as I post this and start my shower, I'll remember, as is typical of the case.))
Ok, back to the point at hand. YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL!! And I think I totally have that scarf thingy in neon green. Every single person who reads this is BEAUTIFUL! Despite what you might think of yourself. You are. Yes, even you there. Sorry, I do comedic writing to myself and it shows when I respond to something I find deeply irritating. Yay humor to pacify anger.
It doesn't matter one lick what others think is right or OK for how you act or feel. What YOU think, feel, act, do, say is what is right. No one can sit before you dictating what you should feel inside your figurative heart. Only you knows what you feel, so whatever you feel, think, do, etc., is what's right, because it's what YOU are feeling, thinking, etc.
Fun factoid, Afghan Hounds can run up to speeds of 40MPH, the speeds a racehorse reaches in full out runs.

Thankfully for me my high school, where I finally came out to others and myself, had a large population of closet cases (pun intended) so the pure hate I faced wasn't until after. Ironically, my best friend Josh, a big ol gay himself, were unofficially officially voted the hottest gay couple in our school. (Totally believe the volleyball teams had something to do with this. That, or the soccer and softball teams, lol). Ahem, back to the point and not rambling whatsoever.. Being anything different in the South is a recipe for getting hate for doing nothing more than breathing. Hell, on the way from the parking lot into the well known lesbian bar, I got jumped by a group of guys who had way too much to drink, just because I was walking with my girlfriend. And I believe in PDA, lol, total sucker for the ladies, even thigh I'm amazingly shy. Irony knows no bounds. So y'all who've grown up anywhere else have it easy, y'all don't have crazy Bible beaters chasing you down because you put a pro-LGBT bumper sticker over their anti-LGBT ones. *Evil laughter*.

Ok, I have to admit, I am one off those people who put those sticker feet under the Jebus fish. I have to, started as soon as those fishy thingys became the "it" thing for aforementioned Bible beaters to do. Revenge, it'll always involve a car and stickers with our people lol.
