Now that Otto was on his game, he was hitting hard and Shiloh had no hope of escape. Large though Tenya was, Otto maneuvered her with ease and Shiloh hoped that one day he might be able to handle Haruko with the same sort of effortlessness, or at least well enough to make it seem effortless, no matter how hard it was. He met Otto's blow with one of his own, bringing Haruko's chain around in retaliation. HP: 31/50 DMG: 10

Otto struck back as he was struck too, holding back a grunt as he hissed in pain. Shiloh didn't look like much, but he was packing a serious punch. He could hardly believe he was given so much trouble by someone ranked lower. HP: 15 Dmg: 8

Things were certainly heating up now, as they clashed head to head with each other, both exchanging heavy blows. His grin was still there, but he was breathing hard as he tried to hold off Otto's attacks, surprising even himself when he managed to volley back as well with his own. "Let me know when," he grunted, his tone not rude but honest and careful. The circumstances were different but the hesitation slipped back in for a second. He didn't want a repeat, or anything even remotely similar so he wanted to make extra sure to not let things get carried way. HP: 23/50 DMG: 7

"Don't worry.." he huffed back, having a hard time catching his breath, "I'll let ya know." Almost there, but he could hold out just a little bit longer. Just a little.. Besides, the Fear Dampeners would take care of anything too outrageous. Although he wasn't a fan of depending on them. It just seemed too cautious to give in now. Not yet. Otto swung with all that was left of his might at the other hunter, Tenya feeling heavier with each blow. In fact, he barely scratched him this time. "Actually.." Otto huffed, de summoning Tenya. "That's it for me." Sweat beaded down his temples. He was nearly done, and he didn't want to be toast. HP: 8 Dmg: 1

Otto wanted to keep going and Shiloh was glad to oblige, considerably less fatigued. But when Otto swung at him, Tenya glancing off of him as he jumped back and out of the way, Shiloh was glad when the other hunter desummoned, quickly following suit. One hand wiped his forehead, the other extended out towards Otto. "Thanks, for sparring. It's been awhile and, well, it was a good one. You gave me a run for it a bit," he smiled, hand still held out amicably.

Without Tenya's weight, Otto was able to regain control of his breathing. He looked to Shiloh as his breathing steadied, slowly extending his hand, and clasping Shiloh's for a handshake. "Thanks. Anytime." Otto had a lot more noteworthy spars previous to this one. But it didn't seem to be an issue. He wouldn't let this get to him. "You hit a lot harder than I thought you would."

"Hah, really?" He laughed as he shook Otto's hand, letting go to push the hair from his face. "I seem to get that a lot, but it's a good thing in the end, isn't it?" His face was cheerful, and he was glad that Otto had agreed to shake his hand. He wasn't entirely sure what to make of the other hunter, everyone on the island seemed so guarded and he could understand why but it made knowing what to say difficult. "We'll have to have a rematch sometime, you know, make sure this wasn't just a fluke." In the end he kept his tone light, joking around and his smile prevailing.

"Yeah, it's good. If someone takes you lightly, it's that much easier to blindside them." He offered helpfully, using work and tactics as a buffer for conversation. Otto gave a nod. He wasn't used to a friendly male, especially not a non-creepy one that didn't hate him. "That'd be cool." He murmured, still nervous by simply making small talk. At least the guy was fairly easy going. He kind of wondered what he could have possibly done to piss off Rep that much? Then again, sometimes it didn't really take much at all... "You can get a hold of me with text or twitter."

"Yeah!" He brightened up a little, if it were possible. "Like element of surprise and all that. I'd never thought of it that way, thanks!" Deus unfortunately wasn't exactly a thriving environment for friendliness and even Shiloh at times had difficulty maintaining any sort of pleasant facade but he found that trying at least made things easier, it made the place seem, if only marginally, less lonely and desolate. It didn't always work, and he wasn't always strong, he fell to bitterness just like any of them, his entanglement with Rep was testament to that. But he didn't cheat death to come back and not live, exactly the way he wanted to and above all, he wanted to be happy. So that's how it went. He smiled at Otto, and eyed the training dummies again, turning Haruko's charms in his hand. He should probably kick around and practice some more, no sense letting victory go to his head. "Sounds good! I'll give you a shout sometime, definitely."

Happy people tended to irritate him. Thankfully, Shiloh didn't seem to be as creepy or pushy as a certain hunter named Al was. "Kay." He gave the man a small wave, slinking off into the shadows to return to the building. It was good having one more person t o add to the list of hunters he could actually tolerate. It was ever so rare.
