"Again...?" is he trying to kill himself? A part of her wanted to find a way to go see him to see for herself that he was okay, but unless he was at the safe house she had no means of contacting him.

Delilah's eyes went wide when she heard that word. "What do you mean again? This isn't the first time he's gone out and gotten himself nearly killed?"

Hannah's eyes went wide as she slapped a hand over her mouth. Letting out a groan she replied "Well... I can't say for sure but the last time we met he wasn't doing good then either." such a taboo topic as well ... this senshi identity secrecy business really sucks...

"Hannah, what has our friend been getting himself into?" Delilah watched her closely before locking eyes with her. "Because I am starting to wonder if he is trying to either get himself killed or this is the result of something more darkly." She did not want to even think that it was possible Quenton was out there trying to kill others.

"I don't think that's the case." She replied softly. The first time they met he was trying to save another senshi, which is why she found the sheer thought of him involved in something dark hard to even consider.

"I would hope not." Delilah echoed in return but something didn't feel right. "I know he feels strongly about the war and about each side. Heck, I basically got told to go abroad if I couldn't take it." Delilah finally shrugged out as she remembered wondering if something like that was even possible. "But Hannah, why would anyone go looking for that....twice!"

Hannah stared unblinking at Delilah for a few moments. War... how would she know Quenton's feelings about the war? At some point the conversation had went from him being injured by an agent to opinions on the war.... did she... did they. "Do you...?" She stopped mid sentence unsure if she should continue with this questions "Did he tell you?"Did I... she had to wonder. No... I didn't... her eyes shifted from left to right as she tried to recall past conversations with Delilah related to Quenton. As far as she could remember the only name she had ever brought up to her red eyed friend was Thraen...

Delilah smiled for a moment before nodding. "Yes Hannah, I know who he is and he confirmed it. Did it come out who I am, no. Only that I am not an agent. Would he know more?" She could see the concern play out before her on Hannah's face before she reached out and touched the girl's arm. "I put two and two together. He is after all, the only one who you have stayed with that refused the hospital and had you stay with him...." Her eyes narrowed slight "That I know off."

Had this of been any other topic, Hannah would have found herself smiling in response to Delilah's last inquiry given the playful tone in her voice and pointed look she gave her. But alas this was no real joking matter and the roller coaster ride her mind just went on left her reeling in it's aftermath. "The only name I ever gave him was Phact, that you were the only one I really trusted if only because I've known you almost my whole life. Just as I never told you about Quenton." A part of her felt relieved that Delilah had made the connection on her own, "I'll be honest I've hated keeping things from you like this, but it wasn't my secret to tell..."

"Just as your secret is not mine to tell." Delilah whispered as she squeezed Hannah's arm. "But now I know so you don't have to worry. Though it does make me sad that we feel like we have to keep things from each other because of this...double life." Delilah's hand dropped and she looked out towards the sky as a bird flew past them. As it went, Delilah felt the other side of her pull at her heart. Who was she really anyway? Delilah or Phact? "I wasn't going to tell you how bad but I think you should know that he nearly had his star seed pulled out. He ran into someone nasty."

Delilah's eyes went wide as she realized what just happened. "How has this not come up..." She mumbled before shaking her head. Slowly, Delilah lifted her hand to her chest. "Star Seed. Something in each of us, that is basically our lives. If we lose it, we disappear."

Delilah shook her head. "I don't know. It seems to be one of those things people forget to tell you until it's either too later or you ask an elder senshi." She started as her hand became a fist over her heart. "Like I said, I don't know much about it but I know that if we lose it, our life does end but not like you think. What I don't understand is why the agents want them."

Hannah for once was truly speechless, the gravity that little bit of information held silenced her. I guess I'll have to ask Benitoite about these seeds next time I see him she thought, swallowing the growing lump in her throat. Then again... did she really want to know?
