9. A beautiful song pulls you away from your search. You find a fledgeling songbird, which is undergoing its first moult--the perfect age for bonding. Post a link in this thread to this roll with a note that it's for the bird drawing to be entered for a songbird!
After Wolf Skull finished chewing up that distracting flower, he meant to start fresh on his search but a beautiful song caught his ear. Against his intentions, he followed it and found a tiny songbird. It was young, just going through its first molting and all he could think was that his little daughter would love a songbird.
He looked to Three Nights to see if she agreed. He looked at Landmark to make sure the damned wolf did not eat the bird.

32. A long-dead Grandfather tree towers over this section of the swamp. In investigating the hollows of its enormous trunk, you find a patch of luminescent fungi. If you attempt to take it, it is too bitter to hold in your mouth, and causes a strange prickling pain where it touches you.
Following their encounter with the bird, Wolf Skull and Three Nights moved farther into the swamp. Clearly, there was nothing left to be found except for flowers and jellyfish and Wolf Skull wanted to move away from those distractions. They found themselves at the base of a great tree. It was dead, but life still poured forth from it. Glowing fungi dot the tree in clumps and though beautiful, Wolf Skull knows that bright things are usually dangerous.
"Don't eat it," he tells his mate.

31. You stumble accidentally on what looks like the world's most perfect swimming hole. Maybe you should make yourself some path symbols, so you can find it again--or maybe you should take a dip right now.
He stumbled upon a most picturesque swimming hole and decided, right then and there, that they would have to bring the children around sometime. Three Nights would be able to remember the way, he was sure of it.

2.You find the perfect branch! You get it to where it needs to go but unfortunately, moving it tuckers you out for the day. Try again tomorrow to find more things! Success!
Finally, he'd found something that Never Idle could use. But after taking the branch back to the buck, Wolf Skull was tired out. All this running about was too much for him.
