"Being rash is dumb," Umbra argued with a huff. He'd defend his idiocy if need be, Umbra wasn't the kind of foal to go around pretending he was anything other than what he was.
"'N I'm Umbra. You know for a flower you can be pretty rough." The tone he spoke in was very plain that he approved of such roughness.

"If you say so," Mossflower responded, not willing to argue the point.
"Don't forget that roses have thorns and there are many poisonous flowers," she said with a quirky little grin, catching his approval and glad for it. "Well, Umbra, I have other things to attend to. I'm pretty sure an owl moved into the neighborhood and I'd like to go introduce myself."
She paused for a moment.
"Would you like to join me?"

Umbra blinked in surprised at the offer- she had friendlied up after he had apologized, but he hadn't expected her to want him to stick around. Even if the squirrels had left and gone back to their homes, content at Mossflower's scolding of Umbra. The colt hesitated for a moment, the nodded.
"Sure, not doing anything else anyways." His tone was dismissive, but inside he was pleased. He liked being around other foals, even if he was usually too much for them.

It had dawned on her as they spoke, that the best way to help develop someone's respect for nature and maybe even make another Forest Warrior, was to include them in fun forest-y activities.
"Alright then, let's go! You'll have to keep quiet though, okay? Don't make any sudden movements and follow my lead."
With a grin, Mossflower turned to led them further into the forest.
