I think it's some promo to encourage people to keep using gaia
I noticed today some thing saying that I was getting better items for signing in 6/7 days

Although i skimmed it cause there's so much damn stuff to read everyday. So i never really know what in the heck is going on with the site in general

For example, there's some weird thing "tier 1: 0/5000" and another 0/500
what. is it....??? Not knowing is driving me insane but at the same time I don't care enough to investigate LOL

Now they have these "trash all your items" events to encourage people to spend all their gold in order to buy items that will give them points that will level them up a tier to get boring cash-shop lookalike items. It's just to balance out the economy. If you click the boiler next to your avatar it'll take you to an even page.

That seems... highly ineffective to me.

It is for the most part. Only people who pay lots of their parents' money for cash and have a tonne of items AND who want the achievement points/exclusive items participate
