Kaze looked at him over the pages of her book and the lenses of her glasses. "I beg your pardon, but do knock before you come slamming into my room. In fact, don't come slamming in at all. I worked very hard to clean this place up after the necromancer left, and if you chip the wood, mess the wall, or scuff the paint, I shall be very upset with you." She informed him, a gentle breeze tugging her short golden-brown hair. "Now do go away..." She turned, going towards the kitchen, and paused. "Actually... Now that I think about it, have a seat. Would you like a cup of tea? We do have business to discuss..." Her tone was sweet, but the kind of sweet that promised insipient mayhem.
She had arranged upon moving in that if she fixed up her room, either he would reimburse her, or lower her rent as long as she stayed. It had been the only reason she'd taken this particular room, and not, say, room 484, or 666. And it had been a good deal of hard work to get it suitable for life other than the undead.
As of their current place in time, she had seen neither side of the bargain, and was quite intent upon something being paid. After all, she had her papers. And a very good lawyer--a rat named Yuki.

"Ow!" Pence stood up, Ghost Kitty still on his head, and turned around slowly. "What just hit me?" He reached up and felt Ghost Kitty on his head. "And when did I get a hat?"

for one does not last long as a landlord of the hat without a keen sense of monetary loss, impending doom and renters on the lamp
and he wasnt sure which of those was going on right now.....
ghost kitty jumped off pence holding up his sign oh sorry bub! did the landlord come by already?

"Yup. He just passed through. You want something to drink?" He gestured at a couple large kegs in the corner, each marked with three large X's on their sides. "You left those here last time you came through..."

She smiled and whisked into the kitchen, returning shortly with a tea set of white porceline with yellow dasies painted along the rims. She poured him a cup, adding or not so that it was exactly to his taste. "You do remember our little deal, don't you?" She inquired, smiling sweetly. She had played the 'pushover girl' to get him to accept her terms. No doubt he still thought that she would be easy to con. She loved her acting class. It served her so well here.

sows eyes narrowed as he placed her in the second catagory "faintly.....remind me."
he stated waiting to see what tricks she had under her sleeve
ghost kitty sighed in relief holding up a sign as he hides his money under pences bed good...i was afraid he would catch me this time

She smiled. "Oh, I was just wondering when you were going to reimburse me, or if you were going to lower my rent. You see, I compared the bill to the girl near by, and found them the same. So clearly," She offered him a cookie, "You must have forgotten." She beamed at him, all air-headed innocence. (And she was, often, an air-head. It was just the days when she got her feet back on the ground that one had to wary of.)

he came early this time...i wasnt sure i would escape before he made it to my place

or maybe more like a man driven mad by his twin ears which turned evil and ran off to wreak world domination ghost kitty put down the giant sign and held up a smaller one
at least thats the story of the tenants in room 783y32 3/4 X

Jasae Bushae "forgotten....what exactly?" sow asked glaring She beamed. "Just a little monetary matter. You see, when I took this particular appartement, I agreed to fix it up for either a lower rent while i'm here, or reimbursement of the fixing up cost. We had it all arranged nice and neat. I have a spare copy, if you'd like one." She offered him a scone.
