Fleur couldn’t handle all of these compliments being thrown at her. She was blushing furiously. Stunning? Was he trying to get her to abandon her date with Fayez and go off with him instead? It wouldn’t work. This man didn’t understand how excited she was for this date,"Your offer is appreciated but I have met this guy before and I assure you, he’s lovely,"she stated. She wasn’t sure whether or not she should feel bad about just blunt rejection but at the same time, he was flirting with a girl he’d known for two minutes so perhaps this was a regular occurrence in his life. Either way, she wasn’t going to be rude about it. Stern if needed, but hopefully he would get the hint that she didn’t flip her interests so quickly. She wasn’t that kind of girl. Alasdair was quick to comment on her apparent assumption of needing to be able to protect herself around him,"I-I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to jump to any conclusions. You just... you can’t be too careful these days. Bad people hide around every corner. As a wizard from one of the top guilds, you can trust me on that one,"she said,"But you’re right. The world is rife with forced bad omens. Newspapers and gossip magazines making a mountain out of a molehill and shouting ‘evil’ at everything unknown. It’s unfair but that’s why it’s so important that light guild wizards do their job. That I do my job. To protect people from the truly bad things,"she smiled sheepishly,"Sorry, I get carried away and go off on a tangent when I talk about my job. I’m quite passionate about it and it angers me to no end that the art of writing is abused in such a way to insight fear into the world when what we need is positivity."Fleur eyed the red-haired man for a moment, considering his words before speaking."So... going by the logic you just used, and your last few sentences, am I to assume that you are one of those people? The ones that quietly do good in the world?"she asked, curious at whether this man could be one of those charitable hero’s you hear about that did something amazing but never told anyone their name, or wore something that covered their face.
Alasdair shrugged "Well alright, if you say so. But my offer will still stand if you change your mind." the redhaired male grinned as he walked along side Fleur. "Mmmm, If bad people hid around ever corner we would have been jumped several times now. Sure there are people who will do bad things but it doesn't mean they are always around. There are more good people than bad, you might encounter more bad people because of someone you know or hang around. Their connections to other people might bring them around despite them being a nice or good person." The young man stated as he kept walking, "News and magazines are obsessed with then next big upset. War, bad politics, relational ship drama, bad actions. The list goes on, and the organizations that cover these won't change. Why would they? Everyone is obsessed with the next negative thing and thus he articles sell. Who wants to read about the kind actions of another person or the actions someone is taking to help a group or organization? The desire for constant negativity to feed the negative outlook on the world and the people who fill it." Alasdair looked down at Fleur as she asked her question, a wide smile spread across his face "That's my secret! Maybe you'll find out." The redhead laughed "So where is this café you're suppose to be heading to?"
Fayez's eyes lit up, someone wanted to hear about his country! "Oh there is much I can tell you! To start the country is mostly desert, there are mountains that line the boarder of the south of the country. However there is no greenery in that area, it's all steep rock. Kind of as if stone from beneath the earth was shoved up. The desert part of the country reaches all the way to the ocean, basically making it a giant beach with mostly sand and little greenery. What green land we do have surrounds they Bay of Roses which is to the east side of the country leading inland. The pay has the only part of where travelers can enter and exit from. There are other port cities but civilian ships are not allowed to dock there, those towns are only meant for trading. Most food that is grown there is hardy desert based plants, along with many spices. The only green part of the country grows most the other vegetables needed for healthy living but most food there will consist of either exotic fish or camel meat. Shioya exports a lot of its fish to other counties for profit and other foods, rarely are clothes and clothing shipped out. Most of the time merchants in that field get travelers to come to them. The cloth is made from a specific type of worm that need both the extreme heat and cold. The worm is not allowed to be sold either, it must stay I the country to ensure that the worm doesn't become extinct." Fayez thought for a moment as to think of what else to say, there was so much to share. "Oh! Knowledge is highly valued in Shioya as well. Schooling is very important there and you can often can many people sitting around hookahs philosophizing or conversing on deep matters, in addition citizens are required to do at least one year of military service when they turn sixteen. Usually its just combat training, though this year anyone who has turned sixteen is to be trained and sent to the on going war. Our government is ruled by one family, they control the military, politics, market, the use to control the magic education and magic institutions when magic use to exists in the country. I guess to make it easier, unlike the Magic Council handling the mages it would be the royal family. Each area would have an adviser but they all answered to the Sultan of Shioya." The young man rubbed his chin trying to think of what else he could say about his country. "I can't really think of anything else to say about it, I think I shared everything about my country! But if you have questions on it I can do my best to fill you in!" Fayez grinned happily, it wasn't often he got asked about him homeland nor did he get to express his love for his country often.
✾ ...She sorely underestimated how much this boy could run his mouth. In addition to learning a little about what she wanted to know, she got an entire history lesson on Shioya. Geez, what was this guy's problem? Riho really only wanted to know about the special clothing and maybe how to get to Shioya. For future reference, it was best to be specific with this one. In any case, she was interested in this worm and its silk. It could be useful in producing some useful armor for her subordinates. Even for herself, combined with her Chainanese fabric, it could add another level of comfort. The woman contemplated the thought, hand on her chin as she plotted. Despite being highly annoying, the boy was helpful in a way. Perhaps she could put him to good use. "Good. You could work on the chattering, but you would make a good informant. As someone so...interested in knowledge. I might regret this, but...tell me what you've learned about Fiore" she requested of him now. Perhaps he knew some things she did not and could stand to learn. This time she was prepared to have her ear talked off.
XXXMr. Caro decided that raw red meat would be the best gift for Rei. That way, Mr. Caro can woo their friend with their superb cooking skills, and cheer her up at the same time! Oshibana was no doubt the best place to get a good chunk of veal, they've been sampling their meats for many years and was never disappointed with a single steak. As they walked through the city streets, Mr. Caro overheard an unfamiliar accent inquire about Fiore, which had piqued their interest. "Heh, who DOESN'T know about Fiore?" They turned their head to the voice, and was pleasantly surprised to see a beautiful dame speak to a well-dressed gentleman. It didn't take Mr. Caro to recognize the young man: the Shioya fellow, he's something of a scholarly prodigy. Typical of successful fellows to be in the company of such beautiful women. Mr. Caro could have just left the two alone, but that woman was too stunning to simply ignore. "Pardon my interruption," Mr. Caro said while coolly slinging their jacket over their shoulder. "Enzo Caro, Mermaid Heel Guild Master and 3rd Wizard Saint." Mr. Caro gave a curt bow and flashed a calm grin towards the duo, "Again I apologize for infringing on your privacy, but I couldn't help but overhear your curiosity towards Fiore... Around here, we believe that the best way to understand something: is to experience it." They tilted their head to the direction of the pub. "The best way to know about Fiore, believe it or not, is to sample their good booze and great company~" They exchanged glances between the duo. "Since I'm already heading towards the pub... How about I treat you both to some drinks?"

Fayez cocked his head to the side slightly, what did she mean by informant? Maybe she meant something like a tour guide. In that case maybe she was right about him if it came down to Shioya. However that wasn't what he was going to school for. He was here to learn about their government and anything he could bring over to his home to help improve the excising government Shioya had. Fayez smiled at the woman's questions, "Oh I learned quiet a lot! The professors are great at their jobs. My main classes focus on the government of this country, there are two types of basically law enforcers. One that governs the entire country and keeps in place laws such as punishment for thieves, those who destroy property, murders, excreta. Then there is the second who is in charge of mages and magic items. They are called the Magic council. They work in a partnership to keep both mages and non-mages in a civilized environment. In the government of Fiore there is the King and Queen, then his council full of nobles and Dukes and Duchesses which aid in his disunion making. Ideas and laws can be offered up by any citizen of the country but its ultimately decided by the King and Queen and their council. There are smaller governments within each city and town that-" Fayez would continue speaking talking about the government of Fiore, along with all that he learned from his university. "As for the culture of the country that is something I'm learning more on my own, its highly encouraged for foreign students, such as myself, to go out and interact with people. I have learned that last names can carry some weight behind it with a certain amount of respect or distain. Depending on the family history with that name." Fayez was about to continue when someone else joined in the conversation, "Ah, see? Just as my professors have said. Unfortunately I will have to decline your invitation to a pub. I am on my way to a café to meet a lovely woman there!" Fayez smiled his best smile.
The sounds of the different groups of people walking by going about their different destinations. It was around mid day when people had things to do whether business or pleasure. Noctis had just walked out of the diner and was facing the street keeping his breath calm. The young man could feel his body tense and brought his hand up to look at it. Unfortunately, it was clearly visible that his hand was shaking and the noises around him seemed to be getting louder. He closed his fist and eyes to take a few deep breathes to soothe his nerves in order to previous from going into a minor anxiety attack. "Just let the moment pass. Everything is alright. Just.....take your mind off of things. Count the number of kids with their parents. Just....breathe" Noctis was doing his best to ground himself back in reality so as to not allow his mind to spiral out of control. The boy was having a bit of a sensory overload due to what just happened in the diner. His mind couldn't focus, and Rosa showing some physical affection had sent a minor amount of adrenaline through his body because due to the sudden gesture. It naturally didn't help the situation. He didn't necessarily hate physical intimation of any kind, but at the same time it tended to make him a bit uncomfortable. It depended on who was doing it, along with him being in a relaxed state. It wasn't normally an issue if he knew the person well enough, but Rosa having made her statements prior to leaning on him internally was nerve racking for different reasons.
There were few people that would lean against him, so that one was a more rarity from people. He knew the tension his body felt with that physical interaction stemmed from the loss of his parents at a young age followed by the bought of depression and regret from his own actions to other people. It was a sort of PTSD he had mainly to himself with the fear of not wanting to hurt other people he cared for in some way or form. It had gotten better over time, but there were still episodes from time to time. Noctis opened his eyes after releasing a deep breathe, and started counting groups of families with kids. The noises from the crowd had returned to a normal status, but his body was still a bit tense along with minor shaking still noticeable in his hand. "Ok.....I should be fine I think? I'm going to get past this and get better...even if it's only a step at a time. I gave my word."The young man would turn towards Evie when she would walk outside and give her a half hearted smile. "Sorry if it seemed like if I left you two in there abruptly. I needed some fresh air, and I would like to get talking with Master Vel over with. Just wanna enjoy the day and all." A small sigh escaped his lips. This wasn't how he wanted to have his day go.
Preventing a minor anxiety attack with two of his friends around. It wasn't a pretty sight to see especially when he didn't usually do things like that. The last thing he wanted to look was fragile or weak to other people, so he usually forced the attacks to stay away and ignore them until he was out of the situation. In this case, it had been getting out of the restaurant. "So....ready to go?"Noctis brought his hand up once again to look at it. His eyes could still see the tense muscles and the shaking was only very minor. Distracting his mind seemed to have held for the most part. Maybe Evie wouldn't notice, but he wouldn't put it past her to notice. The boy wasn't in the mood to try and hide it anyways or else that would just make it worse in the end once he was alone again. Best to deal with it now than later. She was observant with him, plus he knew she'd want to make sure he was ok. The beauty of it was she didn't push or pry too much to where it would send him into another episode. If anything he was just happy to have some conversation with her regardless. There were a few things he had been wanting to bring up to her for awhile, especially now that he was back. The boy was sure there were things she wanted to talk about as well, so now was the best time as they went to see the Master. If anything they could talk more afterwards or later in the day. It wouldn't bother him in the slightest.

✾ On and on, it was like he liked to hear himself speak. Though she did ask for it this time around, she wasn't anymore keen about it since she knew a little bit about the subject already. But this was a test of sort- Riho was more interest in how he amassed so much knowledge on Fiore in such a short amount of time. His information gathering skills could be useful... Before she could question him further, someone else showed up, speaking up on their conversation. Who was this now?! It was just one annoyance after another... However, this annoyance actually had a good recommendation. This could be a good opportunity to try Fiore's various alcohols. "Huh. I don't accept hand outs, but thanks for the suggestion" she replied to this...were those dog ears? Shaking her head, she shifted her attention to Fayez who declined the offer to go to the bar. Now that she was willing to keep him around is when he wanted to run off. Riho sighed, closing her hand into a fist. When she held it up to the guy, she would unfurl it to reveal a lotus flower. "Take it and don't lose it. And don't go too far" she instructed. He wouldn't be given the option to decline as she forced it into his hand and proceeded to walk off, making her way to the pub.
Once Evie stepped outside of the diner she stretched her arms over her head and leaned her face towards the sun. Feeling the warmth of the sun’s rays on her skin made her relieved. Even before being a solar magic-based mage, she enjoyed the sunlight. She loved the feeling of being warm and energized by it that her personality mimicked it nearly to the t. Evie took in a deep breath before she exhaled a moment. Blue eyes focused on her friend. Being friends with Noctis for so long she could tell something was bothering him, along with the slight tremble she could see from his hand but she would inquire about it later. She knew he wasn’t one to openly talk about things unless it was in a more private setting with people he would want to open up to. He had immediately apologized but she gave him a reassuring smile, “Nah it’s okay really. We should head back I also need to speak with him actually.”
She brushed her skirt again before giving him a nod to his question. “I’m ready whenever you are. Hopefully, you can enjoy the rest of your day after we speak with Master Vel. I know I’m ready to just enjoy the day. Planned on just taking a stroll through a park or reading a book with a cup of tea.” Evie noted some of his movements in the back of her mind. Though there were a lot of things she wanted to ask him. How much farther the technique he taught her could go. How his journey was. A lot of questions she wanted some answers for but that would have to come later. She didn’t want to bombard him with a lot after just getting back. She did begin to head off in the direction of the guildhall, mostly lost in her thoughts before she turned her head to look at Noctis as he followed after her. “So how was your time away? Learn more about yourself and your skills?”
As they walked together in silence, Noctis felt there was quite a bit he wanted to say, but wasn't sure how to go about it. He wasn't always the best with words and what was on his mind, but one of the good things regarding Evie was the length of time they knew one another and how she would wait for him to speak first. His feelings of anxiety went away as they were walking in silence, although Evie broke the silence first by asking about his time away. A light smile graced his lips in thought. "Yea, I learned some more things about myself....I've sorta figured out a way to....conquer my inner darkness in a sense? It's going to be a process though. I'm sure you know that my type of magic does come with the danger of essentially taking control. I have faith I can figure it out especially with someone like you and the others in my life" The young man spoke honestly thinking about the rest of her questions. "As for my skills, well I've learned everything I can from my master and predecessor according to them. Now it's time for me to forge my own path as a slayer. I think that part of that path is that creation that I've been working on that I showed you."
Noctis let out a breathe of relief at how far he'd come, and was ready for the challenges he would need to face within himself in order keep moving forward. There were things he obviously need to fix and work on in regards to his anxiety and whatnot. People had a way of keeping him in check, especially Evie. He was more than glad to have had her in his life as long as he has. "And my time away....it was alright? But honestly I started missing travelling within within the week we parted ways. Got used to have you around like when we were kids again." He voice held a softer tone to show he was appreciative of her more than what he potentially could say, and there were things he wanted to apologize for and bring up. He walked in silence for a bit more tossing thoughts in his head debating about what to talk about, but after a bit Noctis was getting annoyed at himself that he stopped walking a bit. The boy wanted to make it up to everyone especially Evie, and him hesitating so much would never solve anything. Deciding to push his anxiety to the side and ignore the general public Noctis made a decision. "Hey...I promised that I would start bettering myself and all that right? Well um...I wanted to thank you." He didn't give her much chance to respond or talk because the boy walked up behind Evie immediately, and hugged her with his arms wrapping around her shoulders staying there for the time being. His cheeks were a bit red from embarrassment about doing something like this in public, since it wasn't something he really did, but what he had on his mind was far more important for his friend to hear. "...I haven't said it before and I should have before we went our separate ways. Thank you for travelling with me all those months. I'm sure I would've tried to figure out a way out of it, but...it really helped more than you know. I will tell you later why when in private and I'm more comfortable about discussing what happened before I ran into you again." His voice was more of a whisper so she could really on hear what he was saying. There was some slight trembling from him because he wasn't sure how she would react to what he was doing or saying, but pressed on.
"I'm...also sorry that we had to split earlier than I would have liked. I could tell you were hurt by that, and I didn't want to hurt you. I would have invited you, but I promised that I would never disclose the location of my master unless it was like my wife or kids. It was something I had to do though to make sure the path I chose as a slayer was the right path along with making sure I'm going about it correctly." Noctis hugged her a bit tighter, but nothing that would be uncomfortable as his tone held a warmth to it. The crowd was looking at them with glances, but the boy paid no mind "Unfortunately, Rosa called out that I did have fear back in the diner. I'm afraid of myself though...that's the simple answer and I'm more than willing to tell you a bit more later. You deserve that much and more at the least right now. I'm sure you noticed my body language and reactions. You're very keen eyed when it invovles me. But, um...just thank you for being patient with me, and knowing how to deal with me. It really does mean a lot that you're willing to push me, yet be patient as well. I'm sure you've been waiting for me to say this words, but I can honestly say after travelling by myself, with you, and the training that...I'm finally home. I'm here to stay, so...thank you from the bottom of my heart, Hikari. I've missed you, and I'm glad to be back here." Noctis made sure to whisper the nickname so only Evie could hear it, and it held that soft tone like when they were kids as he used it. It was a nickname he had come up with when they were little, although it was something he used for her and only her. The boy was careful to not use it around other people often, but he was sure that Evie wouldn't allow anyone else to use it or else. She didn't even know what it meant, but he'd tell her one day soon.
Noctis let go of Evie after a bit and waited to start walking with her again. The boy would let her say her piece if she wanted to reply to any of it, or just stay quiet about it. The decision was hers. The boy just wanted to get it off his chest because she was his closest friend, and really the only person that had a connection to his past. It was nice having a friend that knew him so well after all the years that he could talk to. His demeanor feeling more relaxed and just generally better after just being honest with the one girl that has a connection with his past. He sure sure that she had been waiting to hear those words from him for a long time, but was willing to wait for when he was ready. It was something he would always be grateful for. "I was thinking...how about after we talk to Master Vel, we go do something? The two of us? Whether it be like a walk you were talking about, or even at like relaxing your place? I'm sure there's a lot of questions you have for me and everything right? How was your time with the guild during my absence? Learn anything new besides the whole part of the technique I taught you? Which reminds me, I need to show you how much farther it can go if you learned the first half of it."Noctis kept his hands under the cloak as they walked remembering what it was like working with the girl for all those months. She was a fast learner and improved very quickly it seems. The girl was definitely stronger than she let on, but he knew the signs and whatnot to watch an read underneath when it came to Evie."Hey...when we meet the master again. Let's make our team official? I mean i know we're a team and everything, but like a guild official team. What do you think? I wouldn't know of a name, so maybe you could think of something? It's just a thought though...I'm curious as to your opinion on the matter."
The young mage smiled at his responses to her questions. Evie was quite glad he was figuring something out within himself, it concerned her a little bit but she knew he would speak to her whenever he felt it was the right time to talk about it. She was excited, to say the least, to learn the next step of the ability he had taught her. Honestly, she surprised herself to be able to learn the first phase so quickly. Evie couldn’t help but laugh just a little bit at him mentioning he missed their travels together. “I did too. Of course, I made friends with those at the guild but you’re still my best friend and I enjoy your company.” She flashed him a smile.
After a moment it fell silent between them again. Though it didn’t surprise her much. The two of them were practically polar opposites. Noctis being more of the quiet and reserved type where she was the open and talkative type. It happened during their travels to the guild as well. It never bothered her because she knew not to push too hard if it made him uncomfortable. She could tell that he stopped walking for a moment so she did as well, though she was mostly looking at some cart full of items when he spoke again. She was about to turn and face him when she felt an embrace around her shoulders.
A small tinge of pink crossed her cheeks from the sudden embrace. It was something Noctis didn’t really do, like ever unless she initiated the hug, so it just caught her off guard. Though she stayed quiet as he spoke. Evie knew it was difficult for him to do something like this in public, but she was grateful for what he said to her. She put her hands together while she listened more. When he apologized for leaving she brought her arms up to hugs his to her. Of course, she understood why he couldn’t take her with him. He has his own things to deal with and sometimes that didn’t mean people needed to be at his side. Somethings needed to be dealt with alone.
A few people eyed them which caused her cheeks to flush a little more because it was a little embarrassing but she needed to be supportive of Noctis’ actions, mainly when it came to things he never did. He brought up Rosa’s mentioning fear and she did notice something didn’t really seem right with him. Being friends for so long she could tell he wasn’t comfortable back there but she was hopeful that he’d dive deeper into that later away from the public if he really wished to explain that to her. But a certain word in his thanks nearly made her face turn brighter red that she forced down.
That was a nickname she hadn’t heard in a very long time. He still never told her what it meant, no matter how many times she asked him. He’d just flash a smile and say he’d tell her sometime. Though then she was taken away by Elliot and pushed to train with Amaterasu that it had been years since she last really saw him. Thus never received that answer.
After he released his grip on her shoulders, Evie dropped her arms back to her sides and continued to walk with him again. “I’m glad your back. And of course, I’m always here if you need to talk about anything.” The blush haired girl just flashed him a smile before they continued heading back to the guild. “We could do that. I didn’t really have much else planned today. Could just go back and chill, order some take out? But in regards to new techniques, hmm... not really. Mostly just been sword sparing with Rosa. She’s still the better swordsman but I think I’m catching up to her level.” Giggles a little bit before listened to his next question. She didn’t really think much about making a team. Well, she knew that Rin and Ale were a team. Plus the two of them worked together while traveling to the guild that it made sense. They did work well as a team. “I think that would be awesome! We should make it official. And I have the perfect name in mind for it.” She gave him a wider smile, excited to make their team guild official.
Noctis walked in front of Evie before turning around to walk backwards while look at her. The young man was feeling better getting what he wanted to say to her off his chest. With how she reacted and responded it seemed she was happy about it as well. A part of him wondered how long she may have been wanting to hear those words. He gave her a soft smile regarding her comments while expertly avoiding people using his heightened senses. His hair happened to part enough to show both eyes staring at the girl as he moved to do the action."And as you're here for me, I'm always here for you if you need to talk about anything else well. As you're able to see into my heart and what's bugging me. I am able to do the same to you. I've learned your little tells fairly well I'd would love to believe" He righted himself once again walking side by side the older girl. People would see him as someone that was fairly private with his life, but Evie could be just as bad. He'd have to lightly pick her brain sometimes to make sure she was alright due to knowing she would try to bottle up her more negative feelings so as to not worry anyone. She would sometimes break down when they were travelling together and he would comfort as like she did for him. Just thinking about it made him laugh a bit out loud. He hid his light in the cover of darkness and she hid her darkness in the cover of light. It was a strange thought but it fit them both so well that it was rather ironic at the same time.
"I am definitely not surprised that you're catching up with the girl. You're more talented with a blade than I am even if I've had more experience. If anything I'm sure if you wanted to you could maybe be on par with or even surpass her. That being said I definitely think you're more rounded than her in terms of skill in general. She may be stronger currently, but her hand to hand is a bit...lacking compared to her swordsmanship. You haven't been a mage by that long of standards, although while we were travelling you were definitely improving as we trained together. Maybe I actually make a decent teacher."Noctis threw a side way glance to Evie as he spoke to her with some praise in his voice with a light joking tone in his voice regarding him being a teacher. It wasn't mindless praise in his opinion. Learning a part of what he created so fast gave him that kind observation. Although, he had a feeling she may have more trouble with the next part. From what he theorized is that anyone who slowly learned his creation would have an issue with one of the steps. For him it was the aura portion that gave him the most trouble. Combining the two aspects together wasn't as tough but was still tough at least until he figured out why it was so hard. "...yea I like the idea of just relaxing with you and eating something. I have...a few things I still want to give you or talk about anyways. Some of it you can consider either a belated or early birthday gifts. You get more than one gift today unlike everyone else. As a treat, I'll even make whatever you want to eat as well as long as I know how to make it unless you prefer takeout."
His violet eyes could see the guild nearing which meant their destination was coming close. He wasn't sure what Vel wanted to talk about but he was going to make it quick and short. Let the man know that the two of them were forming an official guild team, get the food, and just relax. Today had been a long day, and what better way to just spend the rest of it than just making the rest of the day a peaceful one for him. The young man quirked an eyebrow at Evie stating she had the perfect name. "Have one already huh? Well...let's make it a surprise. I wanna hear it when we announce it to the Master."He donned a bit of a playful look soon after. The young man stopped walking seeing as the guild hall was maybe a couple of minutes from the entrance. "Well I hope you're ready to exclusively have me by your side as your partner. It's been a long time coming, and if anything it's sorely overdue. I'd say there isn't anyone I'd rather have working next to me exclusively with how well we work together. Our travels together have proven that. Oh, and maybe tomorrow or soon I'll start talking to you about the next step you need to learn. Some things need to be explained about it that are important before an actual attempt is made. Anyways, we're here so let's go get talking with the Master over with." Noctis would continue walking up to the doors with his friend in order to finish the old man's request of talking.
She giggled just a little bit at his composure. He sure changed a bit when he was around her for sure. Watching him walk backward was interesting and a feat that she probably couldn’t copy herself. Evie brushed her bangs out of her face for a second before they fell back into place as she then covered her heart with her hands in an attempt to make a joke at him. “Hey, now that’s a private matter.” She stuck out her tongue at him and laughed. Though she had to admit he was right. Over the months they traveled together and regained their lost friendship they became close once again. She was able to talk to him about anything and he did the same. Some topics harder to talk about than others, but it was a great feeling to relieve stress or worries from her mind.
Lightly she shoved his shoulder with her hand at the mention of being a decent teacher. “Yeah, maybe you are but don’t get an ego on that.” She teased. “Though I don’t believe in my sword skills would surpass Rosa one day. Though that reminds me, maybe I should practice my hand to hand combat.” Does a little fist jab in the air like a boxer before she laughed again. He mentioned a few other things to give her and she raised an eyebrow at him. She wasn’t expecting more gifts, not to mention he didn’t have to get her anything. “You didn’t have to get me anything Noctis. I wasn’t even expecting this bracelet.” She lifted her wrist up to look at it in the sunlight. “Though I do love it so I still thank you. Also, it would be an early birthday gift if you’re speaking of other ones. And how are you gonna cook if Rosa comes around? You know how annoyed she’d be with her love of cooking.”
She flashed him a smile at the mention of wanting to hear the name she decided on. She believed he would like it plus it fits them both well anyway. “Hmm it has been a long time, but I’m glad we’re able to work together again.” Evie was intrigued about the next step to the ability he had taught her before. She wondered how hard this one would be if it has to be explained well enough before acting on it.
The young man was about the head off when the beautiful white haired woman he had been so joyfully chatting to handed him a flower. He wasn't sure how she made it appear. 'I wonder if she's a mage! I wonder if her magic is flower based. A graceful lady such as herself I would not doubt her to have a magic that fit her. I'll be sure to ask her when I see her again.' Fayez thought to himself as he listened to Riho's words. He carefully took the flower, weaving the stem of the flower into one of his buttons on his overcoat. "My dear lady, It's an honor to receive such a delightfully beautiful flower from you. I will do my best to take care of it. Until we meet again dear sweet rose." The dark haired male bowed to the two before heading a different direction from them. He had much to do still so staying close might not be something he could do for her but he would try. If only for her. 'She wants me to stay close. She must have enjoyed my company. That is wonderful! I'll take things slow with her, see if she is interested in me more than just a friend and company. It would be nice to take such a flower on a nice date. Hopefully one she will remember!' The young student pumped himself up for a chance at taking Riho on a date. If even just one, he hoped he could give her a wonderful memory. With that Fayez made his way down the street, moving around the town till his errands took him out of town.

Chloe strolled around the Oshibana streets with blue striding by her side. It's been super quietly lately, she could not help but wonder why that was. Well, that was other than her father trying to collect some guards to bring her home, which she kept refusing. Why did she have to go home so suddenly? If she went home, than she can't look at all the cute little gift shops which was her favorite past time when it came to being over excessively bored. So with that said, her father can wait for her to return. And if he didn't like that, he can come get her himself. That was highly unlikely though, she doubted he'd ever actually come himself to bring her home. Which kind of annoyed her too. But it was what it was. She strolled up to some people selling gifts, gazing over some items that would look the shiniest, because that was essentially the one thing that drew her attention. Who doesn't love sparkles?? "Can I see that snow globe for a sec??" Chloe would ask the owner, as they pulled it closer to her for her to get a better look. That was, until yet another guard came out from behind her and scared the crap out her, making her jump out of her damn skin almost. "Miss Chloe, please, your father wishes you to come home right away. It is urgent that you come." At this point, Chloe was clearly annoyed and turned around to face him, telling him straight. "For the last time, no. I will be home before dusk, ok, I promise that. If it's sooo urgent, why does he not come out here himself to get me?? Clearly, he's just saying that so that it sounds like he has a good reason. So, you can run along and go tell him I said that personally." She said, basically shooing him away as the guard sighed out of annoyance, and walked off.
Finally, now she could keep seeing the snow globes the merchant had to offer. So many beautiful choices! They were all of Fiore at the most beautiful time of year, falling Sakura flowers under a large pink tree, rising above the town. "I'll take that one!" She said excitedly, pulling out some money and collecting the pretty item into her bag already full of other small gifts. She wondered if maybe she could give one of those to Mizuki, or would she like some other gift around here? Possibly one for Alessandra as well? She wondered where they were, or what they were up to at this time of day. Well, it gave her more to do! Now she would keep looking around happily, to see if she could find any gifts for them as well!
