This time Roshan's mother decided to come with her child while they wandered around the Hunter's Jubilee party. She did try to give them space to make friends without an adult leering over. The feeling of being watched wasn't exactly comfortable for Roshan. They knew they had to make the best of it, though. Their mom would really be able to see Roshan put in the effort. They hoped she would eventually get distracted. Eventually, Roshan found themselves in front of a stand offering bags of candy. Normally they weren't one with a sweet-tooth, but if there was ever an occasion to chow down on some sweets, it would be today.
"Thank you," Roshan said before wandering farther into the party.

Eirian was excited to go to this year's Hunter's Jubilee festival. They were finally starting to feel more like themselves. After talking with Sally the other week, it was like Eirian had a weight lifted off their shoulders. That's not to say they still didn't feel scared about others being scared of them, but that would be dealt with when the time came. No need to worry about it now.
Instead, Eirian surveyed the various events to figure out which they were going to do first. A simple ring toss game caught their eyes and away they ventured. "Three rings, please," Eirian said while handing over the coins.
The game was fun and the attendant cheerful. Eirian didn't win big, but they did earn their choice of boas. They decided to go with the orange one that matched their third eye.
SnowLily was sitting in the common room of her rooms when she saw several of the freshlings looking out the windows. Curious she got up to go see what was going on and moving faster then she should have been going, tripped and ended up face first as usual. Brushing herself off she got up and noticed older students walking towards the fields.
The fields were now covered in tents of all sizes, shapes and colors. Listening she heard one student say "Hunter's Jubilee" and suddenly she wanted to go.
Running over to the chaperone she asked if she and the others could go. And was told they all were going in just a little while.
Juliette really didn't feel comfortable going to this festival today. It's not that she wasn't one for celebrating love, it's just that she felt like she was coming down with something. Maybe she would be better off going home....
She turned to leave when a stranger came up to her with a cheesy smile. They held out a stuffed spectrefox, saying a compliment Juliette only pretended to appreciate. Yeah, she'd be better off going home.
Juliette will be leaving unless someone interacts with her. (Not a strong muse right now without someone to play along with.)

Even though the weather was a little cold, Seren eyed the snowcone maker's booth. The character was certainly making them look tempting with the bright syrups and flair as they created it.
"Might as well," Seren said to himself. He ordered a strawberry one with lots of syrup.
That cost extra.
It was worth it.

Amalasuintha was rolling her eyes at all the hearts on display. This really was too much. Her father, however, had encouraged her to go out and "have fun" at this event. She knew he wanted her to find someone to love already. He was constantly worried about him dying and Ama being on her own. Didn't he realize she was tougher than that?
With an annoyed huff she set down some coins at a booth to purchase chocolate coins. She might as well enjoy something while she wandered around for a while before heading back home.

Frederick needed a break. His head was pounding and his eyes were going cross. He simply could not study another thing. He needed to take a break. Frederick knew the Hunter's Jubilee would be going on right about now and his curiosity got the better of him.
Upon arriving on the Academy's grounds, Frederick was acosted by the sights and noise. Still, the Baphomet found himself drawn a fishing game. There he managed to win a plushie. The vespercat's face matched Frederick's.
Arthur found himself smiling more often than while walking through the festival. While normally the Demon would be reading during his day off, Arthur had been alerted to the Hunter's Jubilee event and he couldn't say no. He decided to try his luck on a game. Apparently, he was lucky as Arthur won himself a plushie. "I don't think I've seen this one before. I'll have to look it up later," Arthur said with a smile.

Samson was already bouncing on the balls of his feet with excitement. Hunter's Jubilee was one of his favorite holidays and it was finally here. Better yet, the Academy was hosting a festival celebration. Talk about fun! Samson had been one of the first to arrive but it was so much more fun as Nightmares and Daydreams alike filled the area with their conversation and presence.
The Grimm walked around with a dumb smile on his face. He wasn't paying attention to his feet and almost tripped over a Gryftoo that was just sitting there. Thankfully Samson felt the creature against his leg before he tumbled. "You're going to get hurt if you stay there," Samson said. He picked up the Gryftoo and patted its head. "I've got you now."

Dara knew she was doomed. There was just so many cute plushies to win! She wasn't sure if she'd be able to, but she had the coin to try. First stop was the booth showcasing some of the cutest ones. Dara had to go a couple of turns before she finally earned one of the giant plushies. The Spectrefox with the heart on its eye was too cute to pass up. "That one, please!"

Hazan skipped through the crowd with a purpose in her steps. She had a plan to observe anyone she found that was "in love". But the day was still early, so the freshling had to entertain herself somehow. Hazan stopped in front of a game of chance that was designed for the younger players. She waited for C.C. to arrive and asked for coins for two games. Today was her lucky day because Hazan won both games. "This one can go to you," the Litch said while handing over one of the plushies she won to her Doll.

Crowd Control was already feeling tired by Hazan's energy. It didn't help that the freshling had woken up her Doll much earlier than ne had expected. Going to sleep at nearly morning had not been a good idea. But ne had a job to do so ne gathered nemself up and headed out with Hazan to the festival.
There ne followed the freshling dutifully and provided the money Hazan's parents had left for them to have fun with. Crowd Control smiled when offered up the other winning. "Thank you," ne said with a pat to Hazan's head. And then she was off again.

Delwyn knew he couldn't miss the Hunter's Jubilee party going on at the Academy. He was nervous about running in to one of his crushes, but what were the chances? Surely the place would be too big for such a thing to happen. And if it did it's not like they knew he liked them... He was safe.
Delwyn decided to sit and play a shooting racing game. The competition was steep, but he ended up winning second place. As such him and the junior got to pick plushies. Delwyn's was just smaller. "Thank you," he muttered under his breath.
It felt a little strange being here without Leto. Vega wished he'd come along... or that Lyra or Nyx would have come too. There was still hope that he'd see him of course. Leto didn't seem to miss many of these. It was very strange being here alone, though, and seeing a lot of couples dancing and talking around him. Was this a mistake? He must have looked rather pensive as someone handed him a bunyip plushie to make him smile. It worked.
Nashira:
Why did she do this to herself? She came to these festivals and rarely mingled with anyone... however she did enjoy seeing the decorations, and she wouldn't deny that she loved dancing.
Something bumped into her arm, and she looked down at a soft rammykin floating by. Ah yes, this was another reason she came. She loved the familiars that were drawn to these gatherings.
It was very... pink. Meadow looked around at everyone, and all the decorations. Pink. Pink. Pink. Red (which we know is just a dark pink). Every now and then there were hints of white, silver, or gold, but over all, it was a very pink event. He'd have to tell Aurellia about this later. Maybe when they were older, they could be in charge of decorating for an event like this. As he was thinking, he kicked a plushie. He looked at it. Oh, it was a bunyip!
Mallory:
They thought he wouldn't do it. They thought he'd chicken out, Well, Mallory totally won this bet. Easiest 50 silver he'd ever made. He walked into the hunters jubilee in a skort and sweater. Oh, and what was better was someone handed him a boa. Ah, he was totally going to OWN this dare. He flipped the boa around his neck and strut into the festivities.
Claire:
Man, it was not easy ditching her brother. He was always hovering around. She needed some freedom! Of course, she did love her brother, sure, but once in a while she needed to be Claire, not Claire and Lucian. Of course, she'd never been to such a large event alone before. This was so thrilling! She just about squealed with glee when someone handed her a specter fox plush. It was so soft and just... perfect! The colors matched hers as well, and she smiled at it. As she was picking a piece of glitter off the plushie's fur, she caught sight of a familiar pair of wings and 2-tone hair. "Baum!" She waved a hand for him to spot her as she wove her way through the throngs of people to get to him.
Danielle sighed heavily as she was pulled by the hand by her basically over-enthusiastic classmate, Chess. The neko had dragged her out, insisting that they make up for the absolute disaster that had been the blind date....not that she needed reminding. It was one thing that it had been lackluster but to embarrass herself the way she did when she met up with one of them again? it had been enough to make her want to hide behind a wall of books and never come out. "This is ridiculous and pointless, Chess. I'm not cut out for social gatherings." It was more crowded than she thought and she was trying her best not to bump into anyone...but someone bumped into her (sort of) and draped a really bright boa across her shoulders as they passed. The poor imp blinked in confusion. "Huh.....well that happened.."
"Oh come on Dani, I said I was sorry about that..." Chess frowned as they looked back at the imp they had gotten to like so much. "It wasn't even a prank or anything; I just wanted to see you meet some nice people and get out and have some fun...and that's what you need now, too!" They turned and smiled brightly to the imp only to have her look at them flatly and raise an eyebrow, then suddenly a colorful boa was on Danielle's neck. "OMG, that's so cute on you! It even matches your hair! I want one, too!" Chess turned to go find whoever was giving them out and had a plushie handed to them instead, making their eyes light up. "Aaaaww, its so cute!! It's face even matches yours!" Chess showed the grumpy vesper plush to Dani with a giggle. They couldn't help themselves; they had to poke a little fun.
Guzma waltzed in to the event with pure curiosity and was overwhelmed by a lot of pink, red, white and frills. This was.....stupidly adorable and he was loving it. It was so lovey-dovey in here that he was sure his classmates would be making fun of him for being here but who cares?? He liked cute things! Aaaaand he also liked sweets and followed his nose and eyes right to where they were handing out themed candy bark! He immediately dug in and was munching away on a piece when he spied a pair of unfocused eyes on a dopey feathered face looking in his direction. He walked over and the gryftoo let out a curious squawk, which made the hybrid break out in a toothy grin before he reached down and picked it up. It was completely docile. "Well aren't you just a cute little potato....I think I know someone who's gonna love you!" He laughed as it tilted its head at him and squawked again.
Chidori was a little unsure about being here but she couldn't help her curiosity. She'd never been to a Hunter's Jubilee event before and she was overwhelmed by the amount of pink and frills and hearts (oh my!). It would be almost obnoxious except there was a part of her that was charmed by all of this. It was...cute. She smiled a little as she was greeted and handed a bunyip plushie by a very nice cherub man. Who'd have thought they could make those big, imposing beasts look so cuddly?
Sparrow was positively giddy when she stepped into the event. It was so pretty and colorful and sweet! Plus, flowers everywhere were a great touch and brought some softness to it all. Seeing people around looking happy and enjoying themselves was lovely and she got a nice surprise when someone handed her a cute little plushie. She thanked them warmly as she admired the little roses on its fur.
Daily: 10 Aditi shuddered as she moved through the crowds. There were so many chances for catching germs around here. The very thought of it made her mildly nauseous. She took a deep breath, then headed over to a table where a bunch of colorful boas were piled up. She picked one that appealed to her greatly, flinging it over her neck and tossing one of the ends towards the opposite shoulder. She nodded in satisfaction before turning away. Unfortunately her turn caused her to run face first into a hovering nezubat. It squeaked at her as it clutched her hair to keep from falling to the floor. “Oh on! No, I’m so terribly sorry!” She lifted her hands up to cup the poor familiar. “Are you all by yourself, or should I find your person for you so you can recover?” It squeaked again, this time with a pointed look at her eye. “You want me to be your person? Oh, but... I couldn’t possibly do that!” Aditi bit nervously at her lip. Bringing a familiar home with her meant dealing with possible familiar messes. And Aditi was so not good at dealing with mess.. The nezubat squeaked louder at her, with a bit more force involved. “Al-alright, but no messes on the furniture!” Familiar + Trinket
Daily: 19 Aldric smiled at everyone he passed, cheerfully greeting everyone and waving. It’s like he practiced ahead of time in the mirror or something (he did). Aldric spotted a table with a bunch of plushies on it as he was moving around in the crowd. A cute pink spectre fox plush caught his eye in particular, so he nabbed one and started cuddling it. So soft... Plushie
Daily: 4 Marli floated amongst the crowd, timidly moving whenever she found an opening. She didn’t know anyone here, nothing looked familiar to her. It was disturbing, to say the least. She hovered by a table covered with candy, browsing with her eyes. She finally reached down and picked up a bag of candy bark. At least she’d have a nice sugary reward for herself for dealing with this crowd. Trinket

I want a treat now.” She strode forward without looking back to see if Georgette would follow her. She knew he liked to be the leader, but he always deferred to her choice when they were together. Lalita picked at her nose once more as she wandered through the tables and the people, weaving this way and that. Finally she reached the snowcones, picking one with what looked like strawberry flavoring on it. As she took her first lick she felt something bump her hip. Expecting it to be Georgette trying to get a cone when she turned that way, she was surprised to instead find a gryftoo drooling on her foot as it looked at her snowcone. “Want one? I’ll share if you do, but no eating it all!” The gryftoo nodded then took a huge swipe of the offered snowcone with its tongue before once again staring at her and drooling on her foot. Daily: 7 Georgette sighed as Lalita took off ahead of him, spreading boogers and giggles everywhere. He followed behind as best he could but once he lost her in the crowd he started looking around a bit. He ended up at a table full of plushies, the one table he always seemed to gravitate towards. Looking through the piles of plushies was always fun for him. He ended up deciding on a purple bunyip plushie, hugging it close to his chest as he started to look for Lalita once more. He was fairly sure that she hadn’t gotten too far from where he was currently at, because he could hear her distinct giggle. Plushie
9, 1, 2, 14, 9, 7 The truth was that he had been avoiding social gatherings for a while. When the festivals had rolled around, he had stayed firmly in his room remembering the last time he had tried to go to a festival and how everything had gone down. However it was also silly, why should he let that group of people define his life. They had wanted to cause terror, and like hell he was going to let them keep from living his life to the best he could. So while it wasn’t the best festival to go out in, he wanted to start somewhere.
Only… probably should have waited until spring. The hunter’s Jubilee was coupleier after all. Still singles appreciation day and all that. Of course the moment he entered the festival area someone must have agreed because he was handed a plushie and pushed into the throng of people. Aww it was kind of cute.
“Oh… Hi Miss Claire” Baum called out waving back when he heard his name called, he was always good with faces so he instantly recognized the other chimera. ---------- The whole notion of Hunter’s jubilee was kind of romantic and Nephthys liked to think of herself as a romantic at the very least. Sure she didn’t have any romantic interests to share it with, but everyone else was happy and she was okay with that. It didn’t hurt that it was one of the busiest times for the bakery. So it was nice to go out and try other pastries. However she hadn’t wanted to go alone and had dragged her best friend and roommate Trivia along with her.
“Triv, isn’t this adorable? Anubis would like it right?” She asked holding up the plushie she had been handed. She kind of wanted the familiar it was based after one day. ----------------------------------------- How the hell had Neph talked them into this again. Oh she got that look on her face. The one where she looked absolutely happy at the thought of something, and what friend wouldn’t cave. This time had always been super busy for Neph and Trivia had finally talked them into going out and having a personal day. Trivia just didn’t think Neph would have dragged them along for the ride.
“Neph, that boy is spoiled and you like it obviously. Snag it for yourself. We’ll get something for Anubis later if he isn’t already wandering around here for the day with your parents or something” Trivia replied grabbing a boa from a person that was walking around with them. “better question was how do I look?” -------------------------------------------------- Keres shifted awkwardly as he walked around the festival. He wasn’t sure what he was doing here. Maybe it was more that festivals were always a good place to get friends and well all his friends were still freshlings. He hadn’t taken the potion to age up, he had just a baby face for the longest amount of time and so he had hit the junior classes before his friends who were a couple years younger. He hoped Andrew’s chalk drawings were turning out nicely. Anyways festivals were supposed to be good for making friends and well Keres wanted friends really. Only probably a festival for couples wasn’t the best time to look for them. Starting to send himself into insecurity Keres quickly grabbed a boa from a nearby stand and sort of hid himself in the fabric. ...yeah not his best idea. ------------------------ Muninn sighed and looked around. Normally he would come to the hunter’s jubilee with his brother Mani. Today for him was never really about couples; after all he didn’t quite have special people yet to share it that way so he used the holiday to appreciate people that he loved in a familial sense. So it was kind of tradition. Only lately he hadn’t really spent any time with Mani. It was just…. Things changed as you got older it seemed. Family started drifting apart as they figured themselves out and got ready to start families of their own..
Still he was here so he might as well enjoy it as much as he could, which involved sitting down and totally wining at a card game. Prize was a rather cute plushie. ------------------------------------ Huginn frowned and leaned back against the wall. Somehow he had been tricked into attending the festival. Sure festivals were nice and all and normally huginn was fine soloing but this wasn’t really the soloing type of festival. It was either go in a group or with your girlfriend, romantic interest, and family member. So it felt weird to be here by himself. He had spotted Muninn though and wondered what his brother was doing here alone? Far as he knew Muninn was single?
So he had been kind of watching his brother. Sort of silly now that he had to say it out loud. Maybe he should just go over and say Hi, but then what if Muninn was meeting someone. He didn’t want to be a third wheel.
Apparently he had been making rather interesting faces because someone suddenly handed him a plushie before darting off into the crowd. Oh well that wasn’t entirely knew but at least it was comfy.
