Joshua_Ritter KilledbyKarma Yagi Tessil Am I overly polite? If so, it's mostly to avoid coming off as rude or making someone upset with me. I strongly dislike fighting and arguments, though, admittedly, I will fight tooth and nail if I have to; I just really don't like to do so. In truth, I'm more of a lover than a hater. sweatdrop Reminds me of my friends signature: Arguing on the internet is like running in the special olympics...Even if you win...you're still retarded... rofl rofl haha, I love it. and Yagi, I dont think anyone could fight with you: You are too sweet. 4laugh @ The quote about aruging over the internet: xd Awesome. Response to the rest of the conversation: Aww..You're probably just saying that. *playful razz* razz But yeah, either way, I just try to avoid confrontations, arguments and general fighting. It's just not good; especially during those times when there are more peaceful alternatives, ones where both parties can eventually learn to see eye to eye and both walk away happy. But..back onto topic: Yes, I'm pretty sure that The FLCL Guy is Zero. sweatdrop

The FLCL Guy Easy question, Everyone has an energy signal that is generated by how their soul is put together and the signal tells people what and who you are, so a cats energy signal will be differant then a humans and with this knowlegde you can see how otherkin know they are otherkin. Oh yeah every human is otherkin becuase being human is a combination of differant kins with a physical body. I disagree with the every human is otherkin. What about the humans that were around, when otherkin creatures were to, meaning some souls arn't otherkin and some are, plus some souls don't want to be "reborn".

KilledbyKarma Ha...I'm to impatient to read that whole second post but first post dude: Did alternate dimensions/parallel universes ever occure to you? The thought occured, but I temporarily shrugged it off ^^ You see- I'm a very scientific person willing to accept the non-entirely explained. The thing is that I can't just believe anything that's said without proof that it's at least a possibility sweatdrop For instance- though science can't explain or understand psionics, I've experienced and used psionics so I accept psionics as real despite not entirely having them explained scientifically. I have yet to experience other planes of existence, however, so I have great difficulty believing in them ninja In other words? I gotta see it to believe it. And as for that whole "all humans are otherkin" thing that someone said- I can't say I agree with that... I don't feel like an otherkin confused

There are people that fake without realizing that's what they're doing. Some people it is all in their head. Deception is a b***h.

ambrose_sallia I've always wondered exactly how people in physically human bodies claim themselves to be angels or dragons or elves. I'm not attempting to insult you or say that you aren't as you claim to be, but what actually sets you apart from everyone else who's human in appearance? How is it that you're a dragon and I'm not? confused I never quite got it. Really, whether or not you believe in otherkin depends on just that... belief. The belief is nonfalsifiable so you can't prove anything either way. Depending on how you view the spirit/soul, you may or may not have a belief system that is compatible with belief in otherkin. I personally have serious doubts as to their existence, but if people want to believe they're otherkin, fine. It isn't compatible with my worldview and that doesn't mean it is the same for others. What is more important, is not WHAT you believe, but the consequences of your beliefs. If you're just believing you're not human out of some desire for attention or because you feel socially alienated from the world, that's not exactly healthy. There are cases that such beliefs can be distractions for maladjustments or other problems. If that isn't the case however, more power to you.

But sense so many things have happened like say the Bermuda Triangle. That might be a Thin point between dimensions. You see what I'm trying to put through?

umm. dragons did exist. in this dimension. fire-breathing dragons did too, just they're air passages were really small and the friction of the air rubbing against their passages and at the speed they would need the air created a flame bursting from their nostrils. but really i suppose that the otherkin dragons are simply a dragon spirit mixing with a human spirit. and i think it was julius ceasars third book of war that recorded a sea battle with elves. that was supposedly when elves went extinct. really there isn't any way to know if something existed or not because proof wont always come in the from of fossils and such. (scavengers existed then too)

@ambrose_sallia What actually sets you apart from everyone else who's human in appearance? I think you already know the idea behind this... that an otherkin believes their spirit / soul is not human, but something else, and that they are physically human. (So... they would look human, physically... but they believe that they are different spiritually to the "average human".)
How is it that you're a dragon and I'm not? sweatdrop ... Well... putting aside the "belief" aspect of it... and assuming that indeed I'm dragon... I found out I was dragon from things throughout my life. To me it's an aspect and trait of myself, and I've discovered it, whether I like it or not. Yes, I actually bring up the idea that if someone discovered they believed they were a dragon (or, aka, they are a dragon spiritually), that they wouldn't necessarily find it "neat" or remotely cool. sweatdrop
As to why you are not a dragon... well... assuming you're not, you just aren't. There isn't anything wrong with that... you're you, and I'm me. 3nodding
Isn't it possible that if someone actually believed they were something else they could be subconciously using very simply psionics to change the shape of their aura to emulate wings or elf ears or something? Well, if I subconsciously did that then ignoring the phantom limbs... I would blame the dream where I was a dragon and curse it for being so memorable.
Seriously, that dream bothered me. sweatdrop Being a dragon =/= feeling of invincibility to put it bluntly.
There are no historical or fossil records of anything as massive as a dragon, so where have the dragon souls been hiding, anyway? Just a note, and of course people don't realize it because of course when most think of a dragon they think of some creature as large as a town, or one that breathes fire. The dragon I perceive myself as didn't breathe fire... and was the same size if not smaller than the average human... which I assume would mean that if I were standing as the dragon I see myself as, that's only 6ft tall. Last I checked I stand about 5'10" or 11".
There's the idea of other dimensions and such... sweatdrop
To be honest I can't say where I came from, because I simply don't know.
Oh, and as "cool" at the "documentary" on Animal Planet was... the one show about dragons was a "what if" and not an actual documentation of anything. sweatdrop
