Ah, The Wii just seems... awesome. PS3 lokks great too, it just seems t like they kinda ripped off the Wii when making their controller. I have little time so I'll edit in my opinion later.

Nittle Bewhittle mypod This really isn't a battle of hardware anymore, it's purely software. Each system has a next-gen title that is equally (or more) appealing than the system itself. So, take your pick-Final Fantasy XIII, Halo 3, or Super Smash Bros. Brawl (oh, oh, and Red Steel, and Metroid Prime 3, and Zelda:Twilight Princess) Needless to say, once again wii win! Yea, but i want to play FF XIII Don't get me wrong, I do too, as well as Halo 3, and I will play both of those. I just won't invest in they system for it. Lovely things called friends. lol I will let them play with my wii as well mrgreen

Oh boy! Here goes...(this is for you Jedi Master Lee)
I am a "gamer of knowledge" as well. eek
-I'm guessing you're talking about the line at E3 that was about a 3 hour wait, while Sony and Microsoft didn't have near that long. Although I don't actually know how long each person was allowed to play, they did only have five consoles and MS might have had more, but this wasn't "artificially inflating" of any sort. Just popularity.
-Uh, I don't know what your source for this one was, but the controller is precise. (If you didn't know, precise and accurate are two different things. Look it up) The sensor bar is not the middle of a virtual analog stick either. It is an IR sensor with basically the same functionality as your standard TV remote. The difference being it can plot any point in 3D space and tell it to the Wii processor. I am very sure that there will be a setting for sensor bar on top of TV and on bottom, countering your "center" theory. You are correct it determines angle.
-Sony didn't use any such technology in their little PSP. Their controller determines tilt in the controller, and it has no idea about the location in 3D space like the Wii's. It is easier to develop because it is cheaper and crappier.
- True. But in case you didn't know, the Opera browser will be incorporated into the Wii and with WiiConnect24, you can always be on.
- I actually haven't heard this, but it sounds really cool! But knowing Microsoft, it probably will not be compatible for PCs.
- That's not really a design copy. Not patented anywhere.
- What do you want to use dual HDMI for? And I'm pretty sure it has S-Video outputs.
- Of course it does. We all knew that.
- Here in America, there is a $100 difference. Not that much of a difference as you say, but the X360 was borderline expensive. The PS3 crosses that border. Just my opinion.
I am curious as to what systems you have too. You seem like a cool guy.

I have every system that was made (yes even sega's failed dreamcast) expect the 360 and I have my reasons for not buying one. As you said in the post before this one and the post before mine, yes everything you said about the 360 is true, the lack of third party support, Horrible lauch, everything. Sure they may have signed alot of third party company's like: Namco Square-enix Bandi (I don't know if they merged yet or not) Atari Capcom etc... But still there lacking The PS3... true again what you said the price is crazy, the company's already in a "red light" from just making the system but I still I'm planing to buy one. I was pretty mad when they took out the force feedback they said it was "past generation" but instead it's Motion sensitive I hope they make a controller with it built in so you can feel your head getting blown off. And the wii, I have no words to say about the wii only about the name, but we both know it's not about name. It's line up is okay with mario, legend of zelda, and the other games I'm just wondering why snake is on Super Smash Bros Brawl? It's because Metal gear was Originally on the nintendo?

>.> right now i'm having issues. my older brothers geting a Wii *ninja pose* so i have my zelda source covered.
but with two insane awsome games coming out i dont know which system to get... the 360 has halo 3 which needs no explination. i've beaten the first two so i've got some emotional investment to beating the damn thing and finding out why i went through all that trouble to beat the flood.
but then on the PS3 there is lair... dunno if i spelled it rightb ut yeah. think eragon+awsome. in the game you're basicly a dragon rider runing around the world exploring religious and global conflict. the graphics are insane, the controles are yummy, and you can literaly tear the head off enemy rhino's and bowl it into oncoming soldiers.
