Martin Luther, for getting the Protestant Reformation going.

Martin Van Buren, my favorite United States president. (He was number eight!)

Sargon II, because his name is fun to say.

Epicurus, because he was one of the only Greek philosophers that I have any real respect for.

Jeremiah, because he's a hero of mine.

Joan of Arc, because she's a hero of mine.

Humphrey Bogart, because he's the sexiest dead guy alive.

At the moment, I'd have to say Napoleon, simply because he was such an idiot. His mistakes are a lot of fun to make fun of, and his misadventures are paralelled by Hitler. I'd have to say that those are history's two greatest morons, and the latter did not learn from the former. Sad, yet humorous.

Hell no. James Stewart, maybe.

Hmmm... Julius Ceasar, he really wasn't a bad person, people just didn't want a Roman Monarch.

I would vote him for prez! He was a great leader. If he would have not accepted "Dictator for life" title, he would have probally lived longer.

William Shakespeare, for keeping me awake in English class! xd
But honestly, I've gained enlightenment about Caesar, seeing that I never had the pleasure of being taught about his time in power. I especially like the persuasive speeches that Antony makes. Powerful stuff, Shakespeare can be.

I'd also have to say that Louis Napoleon is near the top of my like list. Intelligent man, but not intelligent enough...Ah, good ol' France...

I'm not sure if he's quite famous enough, but I just did a paper on the history of electronic music, so right now I'm a HUGE fan of Leon Theremin. Dude. I totally want a build-your-own-theremin kit for Christmas, and then I'll play it in my band. mrgreen
