It turns out that Peter Madsen is posting one page per week from his new comic, "The Wall," until it comes out commercially.
You can read it here:
http://www1.jp.dk/valhalla/I've been reading it every week since #1, and although I was under the impression that this comic would be about the building of the wall around Asgard, so far it's mostly about the beginnings of Ragnarok, and how Frey became smitten with Gerd. And, instead of making his servant go get her for him, it looks like Tjalfe is going to end up doing it
xd Oh yea, and apparently Sleipnir is already born... I suppose the story around his conception could be told in flashback-format like "The Gifts of the Gods" was, but who knows.
Oh yea, and following the success of a children's Yule-calender miniseries (it's where one short episode is released each day, from December 1 to December 24, you know... like an adventcalender) called "Jul i Valhal" (Yule in Valhalla), they're apparently making a feature-length movie called "Guldhornene" (The Golden horns). This movie is to serve as a sequel to the miniseries. The premise: Thor, Loki, Idunn, and Heimdall travel to Midgard to get help from three kids to protect the two Golden Horns which are apparently very important. Indeed, if they were to fall into the wrong hands, it could mean the end of mankind.
Here's the teaser trailer:
http://www.cosmo.dk/guldhornene/teaser.htmlWhile it looks pretty stupid, I'll admit, I laughed at some of the parts in the trailer. Like the Abbey Road reference, Heimdall violating Loki's personal space, and Heimdall looking like he's playing Wii. Hopefully he's playing Wii. But something tells me that he's just dancing around while holding a remote-control
sweatdrop (it was like a running joke for Heimdall to be as dorky and as flaming as possible throughout the miniseries... I wish I was joking about this). I definately won't be seeing this in theatres or anything, but maybe after it comes out on DVD.
