What do you think of a movie based on Norse Mythology?

It would have to be detailed and very very accurate, none of that crappy godly barbarian crap that has been coming out lately.

Well, if there was a movie based on Norse Mythology, would you prefer CGI or live-action?

Oh, well hmm. I guess either or really as long as the CGI version doesn't look like a bunch of cubes swinging swords at another bunch of cubes. xd

The Troy movie was meant to have some Greek mythology in it... but the problem was that it didn't have godly influence AT ALL, unlike the original story it is loosely based on (ended up being all about Achilles making a name for himself...sheesh!). Where was Aries? Where was Aphrodite? Hell, where was Eros (I know that's mostly background, but it explains the reason Helen chose who she did)?!?! Where was Brad Pitt dressed as a woman because his mother didn't want him to go to war?? xd So...yeah, I'm a bit nervous about any more mythological movies right now... stare

Putting it that way, I'm glad there was no Celtic myths turned to movies as of yet (exception of the Arthurian Legends).

A movie based on one part of norse myth, or a series of movies based on it all? To the series of movies thing, as long as they didn't change much that could be quite enjoyable. As a side note, this actually reminded me of a book about the norse myths that tells them in a novel-like fashion...

A series of movies does sound bestNot to sound meh or anything, but I think that if it were to happen, that Peter Jackson should be the director. He did a marvelous job with LotR and since Tolkien based the series mostly off Norse mythology, it only seems fit.

If you're open minded, any mythical story could change your perspective of a god. Cus knowledge is power! *sings the theme to School House Rock!*

And about Peter Jackson being the director.
