As if by reflex, Angrim's grip tightened on his sword and with a quick flick of his wrist broke the guy's nose with the flat of his blade. He fell to the floor with a dull thud.

The mercenary turned his attention to the unconscious girl. She didn't look like freak. Well, at least best he could figure. "Frank," he said without looking up, "I'm taking her. Don't worry, I'll pay you back later." And as he said, he lifted her over his shoulder and made for the door, leaving a confused Frank staring at the knight in blue armor and ten unconscious men.

Out in the open, the sunlight was almost blinding in comparison to the dingy lighting of the bar. "Where could I take her...?” he mumbled to himself, not expecting an answer. "Maybe if I throw enough water at her she'll wake up." He shrugged at he thought. Might as well. Shielding the light with his free hand he made for the near by well behind the bar.

"Hey hey hey! Cool it kid, I didn't do anything to you that would deserve getting done in like those thugs!" Angrim was slightly bothered by the sudden accusation. He had expected hostility, but he sort of expected some gesture of thanks. "Just so you know, I knoecked out the lsat of 'em and carried you out here," he said with a sense of self-satisfaction. "So remember that I helped you out. For free."

He planted his sword in the ground and leaned against its face. Despite the lack of any pretenses at all, Angrim decided he might as well learn a few things from the person he just saved. "Out of curiosity," he started casually, "why did those thugs decide to pick a fight with you?"

Angrim was slightly displeased with the reply. "That's all...?" He grumbled annoyed to himself. After she had mentioned the World Gorger, the mercenary had been hoping that their little scuffle had been over something concerning him. If it's even a him anymore, he thought to himself bitterly.

He got up, dusting himself off. "Yeah, you're right. I probably would have appreciated a 'thank you'." He pulled his sword out of the ground. "I heard back in the bar that you were talking about the World Gorger..." He was probably going to regret doing this, but if she had to ask Frank for tips on the World Gorger, she probably knew as little as he did. "But you should know, that if you can't even deal with those thugs, there's very little chance I'll let you kill him before me." He began to walk off with his back to her. "I am Angrim Eihenjar."

Such a short temper... Angrim knew better than to pick a fight with this one. If I meet her later, and under certain circumstances, maybe we'll... He cut his thought short when she finsihed her little rant and began to leave. One good deed for another, I suppose. He took a stance and stuck his sword into the ground for balance. "That's funny then," he yelled over his shoulder. "Because I just came from the east." He picked up his sword and set over his shoulder and headed to the near by shop for some supplies that would be ebtter suited to the cold conditions he was about to face. "See you later..."
