·Character Short list Plot They say there was one being of insurmountable power. One so strong he could crush the world under his endless strength. A warrior of boundless cruelty, in such a way that he only kept the world intact to continue to wreak havoc upon its citizens. It was called the World Gorger. But as time has gone by, the years have weakened this monster. And it has been whispered that anyone who defeats the abomination of life will gain the power he once wielded to bring the world to an apocalyptic end. So the hunt begins. Who ever finds and kills the World Gorger first will be known as the strongest warrior, with the potential to destroy the world or protect it from any others who would wish it harm.

·Character Short list Overview Okay, so it's really just a game of hide and seek, so sue me. But I think it could be fun none the less. The World Gorger, thoguh old, is still very capable of defending himself/herself. Despite the use of "his/him/he" in the plot, the World Gorger can be of either gender. It's just easier than writing "his/her" for every instance where "his" came up. Who ever would like to apply for this position can. If someone would, I want them to keep in mind that they can't make it impossible to find them. Didn't specify this in the plot, but the world is very diverse. A whole bunch of everything. So just go crazy with characters. Not too crazy though ^^ Rules Psh, you guys don't need me telling you what the rules are. The only one I insist on is that you don't immediately pick up the trail of the World Gorger. Give him some time to run and stuff. Y'know? >.>

Like, able-to-leap-tall-buildings-in-a-single-bound agile. Her senses are pretty sharp as far as hearing and sight go, and she's *usually* able to detect whenever someone is telling a lie. Her endurance and strength are pretty substantial, but nothing incredibly special. Many people recognize her for her innate skills as a gunslinger - she rarely ever misses a shot. >.O Histroy: Ummmm, most people know her to be an incredibly good mercenary. Never had she ever failed a job. She's pretty cold and distant to most people, but not many others know much of anything besides that. The only thing that makes her truly odd is that half of her is Blumbagarian - which is an pacifistic race. Period. They never fight. And.... yeah. ---------------------------- Zyxa Name: Zyxa Rp Name: Angrim Eihenjar Age: 27 Race: Human Abilities/Skills: Fairly slow in comparison to other warriors, but through training he compensates with incredible strength and endurance. Histroy: Angrim is not a hero by any measure. Like many others who chase the World Gorger, he is a mercenary that hungers for the boundless power that comes with its defeat. He grew up in a village that had been ravagedby the World Gorger before his birth, forced to live under circumstance. His village never recovered from the attack. He trained day in and day out, preparing for the World Gorger's return, but it was in vain. Not wanting his efforts to be wasted, the day he became of age he began his hunt. But not a soul knows what he plans on doing after his victory. Some argued his intentions were noble, but others believe it is something much less glorious.

Terra sat under a tree, away from the people, took a parcel of bread out, and began to eat broodingly. She hid her face as she ate, and wondered if she had gone crazy. To take on such a job like that... Well, at least the reward was substantial. But now.... where was he? Her eyes scanned the street of the village, as if he might be among them. She really had no information to go on for this job at all... Sighing and standing up, she began walking to the one place where she always started her jobs: The Pub. It was always stock-full of information, some less reliable than others. And, while she doubted they would hold much information on the hit in question, she could at least give it a try. Right.

Angrim groaned in frustration. What a pointless lead. The mercenary stared longingly into the tankard of ale he clutched in his hands, reflecting on his wasted time. As any good adventurer knew, the place to gather information on anybody or anything was to visit the pub and shake down drunks for information while they were vulnerable. The downside was they were drunks. They could be stark raving mad and spewing false information.
Angrim had unfortunately shaken down the wrong drunk. Information of a strong looking characters from said drunk, had lead him to believe it was the World Gorger. But to Angrim's dismay, it had only bee a bandit that had effortlessly fooled the citizens of this poor, dumb township.
He scratched at his azure shoulder plate, feeling for the scratch the bandit had left. This armor had once been the property of a well-respected warrior, but Angrim had robbed from its pervious ownership after killing him. Such a wonderful prize, blemished by that annoying bandit.
Another sigh and he downed the tankard, wiping the remnants from his nose. Stricken with a fair deal of grief, the mercenary wondered to himself, "Maybe someone exciting will walk through that door..."

Terra stepped through the door, looking half-bored already. Taking a deep breath, she walked over to the counter and ordered a pint. (of tea, of course xd ) She might as well start with Frank, the bartender. She's obtained pretty valuable information before. If anybody in this dump knew anything, it would be him.
"Say, Frank. What do you know about the World Gorger?? Any idea where he resides or anything?" She didn't waste any time. She wasn't in the mood to.

He almost choked at the the mention of the World Gorger. He couldn't believe how fast his wish had been granted.
But he was dissapointed immeidately after. She was asking the fool of a bartender Frank. It was he that had pointed Angrim in the direction of the petty thief.
But this new adventurer seemed intresting none the less. If she was chasing the World Gorger, no doubt she would happen across some information that he couldn't, dressed the way he was. He took a moment to contemplate why he thought it a good idea to wear such big, flashy, and of all colours, bright blue armour while hunting one of the most elusive fighters in the history of the world.
But he shrugged at the thought. What mattered was that he had just found his new lead.

The bartender looked at her with a strange look on his face, lowered his head, and said in a dark voice, "You shouldn't have come here, Terra. You know he's been looking for you."
Despite this warning, Terra looked unperturbed, "Just give me the information I need, Frank. Do you know where the World Gorger is or not?"
".... It's too late, lassie. He's already spotted you."
"What?"
Her question went unanswered by Frank as he retreated from the bar table, turned his back, and pretended to be fixing some kind of drink. She soon figured out why, however, as a strong hand siezed her by the shoulder and swerved her around.
A hulking man smelling thickly of alcohol and b.o. towered over her. His unshaved face contorting itself into a wicked, yellow-stained smile, "Well well, if it isn't the half-breed wench." He pulled his face closer to hers, his rancid breath all but making the girl gag in disgust. "I owe you one for that stunt you pulled on me the other month.... offing Gatta like that."
As if they were talking about the weather, she merely shrugged and replied, "He was in the way. Casualties are inevitable in my line of work. You should know that. Scrogger."
It was obvious that was the wrong thing to say, as the man became enraged. His grip tightened incredibly as he threw his hand back in preparation to strike, "That's it, you little wench!! You're gonna regret you've ever-!!"
That was as far as she let him speak. With one fluid movement, she slipped from his grip, elbowed him in the chest, and kicked him back into the opposite wall. She stood normally, hands hanging loosely at her sides. She was completely relaxed and casual. Even had a smile on her face. But her eyes were completely focused and calculating. "You want a fight? Fine, let's fight!"
The man staggered to his feet, as other men rose from their seats, bringing out their knives and weapons as they did so.
"You thought I'd come and attack you alone, Terra?" The man sneered, "You're not coming out of this one alive."
'Oh.' She thought as she saw the other ten come toward her. Well, she wasn't expecting this.... what an annoying day. "Fine. Whatever." Still standing relaxed, she watched each opponent's movements cautiously. She wouldn't do anything until someone made the first move...

((Have you noticed something up with this page? Does it look a little... off?))
His new lead seemed to be in a world of trouble. He was sitting down the counter from where she was now facing down a small mob and began to weigh his options.
First, he could sit and watch. She seemed plenty capable enough that she didn't need his help. This way he could continue too follow her as well as he could before she noticed him.
Second, he could immeidately jump in and help. Those thugs ddin't look very strong but it could get sticky if she lost track of one in the midst of it all. Not to mention some warriors get irritated when others steal their kill. He should know, being one of those types.
Or last, he could always just wait for her to get in trouble before helping her. This way he can stay out of the way if he has the chance and also has the beneift of keeping his new lead safe.
Angrim considered the three heavily. He wasn't very keen on any of them. He wasn't the type to help others for free, but he decided it would be in his best intrest to help her. "Option three it is..." he mumbled to himself as he stared into his glass, keep a ready hand on the hilt of his sword.

"We'll show you for the freak you are!!" Roared one of the men as all of them launched for attack.
Terra was still in fighting position. And, by fighting position, I'm meaning standing perfectly casual, arms dangling, with a smile on her face. She fought in a way similar to getting groceries at a store for half-off, or strolling down the park. She landed her punches square on, knocking her opposers one by one to the ground, but not a single muscle tensed.
Within 50 seconds, the fight was over. Terra was glowering as she touched the side of her face. She was actually careless enough to let one of them land a punch on her. That stunk...
Unfortunately, she was a bit more careless than she would have hoped. There was one left, that had stood unnoticed behind her. Only time she thought of this was when she heard a deafening sound of breaking glass, then noticed someone had broken a bottle on her head.
"...... Crap."
Thus, she fell unconscious.
