The visuals are so gorgeous, I had seen trailers and images on my computer and tv... but once I put the cd in the tray and loaded the game even that was blown out of the water.

So, I was playing XII just the other day, came to a save spot and decided to give the PS2 a rest...and when I went to load my game, my file was corrupted! And I was all the way to the Feywood, and Balthier at lv 50 with the best gun...
Good thing it's so much fun, I restarted and I'm already at Raithwall's Tomb...but still neutral

ouch, did you lose any other games on the card? I just found out my copy of Oracle of Seasons has gone and corupted itself... I was at the Final Boss!!!! crying Now I have to find both oracle games... and I can't even find ages in the first place....

I didn't even think of checking the other games. I hope not, there's like 200+ hours of FFX on the same card, not to mention 100+ hours of DQVIII.

Careful, I found DQVIII highly addictive.
Once I got past the 'omg, DBZ!' phase, that is.
Anyways, I lucked out and found a save on another card only a few hours behind the corrupt one. I must of done it when I was half-asleep, but I sure was happy to see it. Yesterday I started the next to last dungeon, but so far only defeated the first boss there.

I never figured out how to pass that endless room in the room of rites... As for FFXII, I forgot the place name, but I had to run away from Bangaas in a mine before I stopped last... I beat the werewolves at Giza while I was at level 10-12 xd 1st one died from KO effect on dagger, the other one went berserk, but I still fought it despite his like for causing 200+ damage when I don't even have 400 xp It was great, my roommate witnessed it and we were laughing like we were high at them xd

I've never even beat the final boss in seasons, and I've never been able to find ages... now I need both instead of one.... crying

I just beat Nidhogg... It wiped out my party save Penelo, who had nothing and could only do single digits in damage physically... It had left me alone giving me the chance to escape, but willing to game over, I ran at it with only penelo left and kille it with four single digit damage strikes xd
Then I tested out a combo quickening with Penelo and Vaan... I did 9000 to a bat xd

Heh my first time against him was a slaughter... then after 5 more slaughters I came back with more levels and ready for revenge... and he killed me 5 more times before I came up with my ultimate revenge stratagy, I quickened him to death.

Nidhogg was killed on my first try razz
And then finished by someone who could only do 4 points of damage xd
Lately though, my license board is weird...
Balthier has no magics, and I keep him equipped with the nethicite. He has his quickenings, and for some reason I noticed just recently, he's only level 11 xp
My current party of choice is Vaan (current weapon: Chopper), Basch (Hand axe), and Penelo (I forgot, but it's a spear xd ).
Vaan and Ashe are the only characters that do not have all their quickenings.
The females all have the most magery.
Balthier has most of the tecknick licenses.
Vaan has most of the light armor licenses.
Basch has most of the heavy hitting weapon licenses.
I forget all the details about magicks, but Fran I think has most of the colored magicks.
Outside the license boards:
I'm sad theres no way for a Bangaa to enter the party sad
I've killed most marks given so far, attempting to find Gil Snapper.
I'm rank Vanguard.
I'm too poor to afford to update a lot of my weapons and armor.

Okay, Red? For the gil snapper, you have to go to Giza Plains during the Rains, to an area called Tracks of the Beast. To get there, you have to break down five or six 'withered trees' scattered around the plains. After doing that, the entrance is in the lower-right section of the plains. Remember, the mark only comes out when it's raining heavily, otherwise there are three or four lv. 36 Silicon Tortoises.
Also, there's an item required for the cockatrice sidequest there, called 'Feather of the Flock.' It lets you understand what the Giza cockatrices are saying.
Ah, and I just cleared the Pharos the other day. It sucked when Reddas died, though.
On a closing note, I just beat Gilgamesh. Reverse and Decoy on Ashe (she and Basch are my main melee characters) helped a lot during the second part.
Throwback to FF4:
After clearing the Pharos, talk to the black bangaa in the East End (Rabanastre), across from Migelo's Sundries, for a reference to FF4. I just saw that last night, and felt I had to share that.

Hahaha you mean the 'Spoony Bard' reference!! Hmm I almost killed the Gil Snapper on my new game thanks to Larsa and the Guild NPC. His health was so low I couldn't see it!! But then while I was charging 'cause I was out of mp the B@$t@rd went and regenerated some hp....
I already beat the game, now I'm doing a new game where I acctually pay attention to who has what on the License Grid.
