Anyone else started playing XII yet? It's pretty dam' sweet...only complaint is the camera can be a little wonky, but it's not any worse than KH2's cam. The gambit system takes a little getting used to, but once you set it up correctly, it's very handy.
And Balthier is to die for<3333

Yeah, it's really great! I have a gambit set up so that Penelo casts oil on an enemy then she cast's Fira. Works great, though I have to turn it off when I find fire absorbing enemies.

Cool gambit, I'll try it out when there isn't so many elementals about...those things are scary.
So, where are y'all at? I'm preparing to go to the Henne Mines, after visiting the Viera village. They certainly are some unfriendly bunnies.

I am heading to the capitol of the empire, the Viera were certainly interesting... kind of remind me of elves...

I did well today...defeated Tiamat, Elder Wyrm, and the Croakadile. But now Larsus left my party and I no longer have unlimited hi-potions anymore. Woe is me. I've heard the Stilshrine is pretty damn' hard. Time to grind...

Yes it is, that is where I first started using that Oil Fira combo against some enemies. There are some fire absorbers there though.

I survived the Stilshrine without needing to level up much at all...three boss fights in less than two hours, yikes! And I can't help but wonder what's going to happen to Larsa...little tyke grew on me, ya?

The graphics are terriffic. There aren't as many FMV cutscenes as X, but after all the complaining about X being more of a movie than a game, it's no suprise. And the game is just huge, probably twice as big as X and totally non-linear, so you can go back and finish up sidequests/hunts as you please.
Oh, and I completed the Draklor Labs dungeon last night. What a pain, trying to get to the 70th floor.
