The brown lioness's body relaxed the moment he spoke, she had a protector again, someone to care for. "Do you think the gods are really un there throwing rocks?" she looked down embarrassed it was the story her mother told her about the gods and why there as thunder and lightening. Her blue eyes soon drifted up to watch the gray thunderheads as they drifted lazily across the sky, " I guess it's stupid to think such things, of course they're not." her voice was the one she used to talk to herself, low and muttered.

"It's not stupid," Mvumo said. "We must never forget the stories of the gods. If we do, they will forget us. I don't want to live in a world in which we are forgotten. Not anymore." At that, Mvumo was simply content to watch the storm, and weather it with Aadil. Their future was set, their path was straight, and they had each other. There was nothing else he needed.
