I'm a Disneyland freak. I personally have the opinion that, like most of the Disney movies, the original is much better than anything else. Besides the fact Disneyland was created by Walt himself.
Although the rides are great, I like the park not because of the rides, but the feeling I get there. Everyone's nice to you, and honest. Last April I went to the park with my extended family, and my Uncle accidentally dropped his wallet (that contained over $500) on a ride. And we had already left the park to eat at the Rainforest Cafe. It had been almost an hour until he realized he left it. When he went back to the ride, someone had given it to one of the imagineers, with all the money and his personal identification still inside.
I like Disneyland because of it's size, and the feeling of being welcome. You never feel crowded unless you're in line, and usually everyone's happy to be there.
And, I have bad feet, so too much walking makes my feet ache and burst into blisters.

I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one that feels this way about Disneyland. Disneyland is like my home. I'm there every weekend, and I sware, it's like you can feel the presence of Walt and his creations everywhere. He built the park, he put himself into every little corner. Granted Toontown isn't Walt's baby, but everything else is.
Who cares if Disney World has more stuff in it? It doesn't have the same spirit, because it's the park Roy built. It's a money machine, not a home. Walt literaly had an apartment above the firehouse. If you ever watch the openning day festivities, you can see his daughters in the window.
There is nothing at all like Disneyland, no matter how many park the corperation makes to pull in more profit.
Yeah who care's if Disney World has more stuff Disneyland has better detail and better rides then Disney World.I mean I'll still go but even if I go I will still say Disneyland is forever number 1.
Did you know there are no drops in POTC ride at DW?! eek
I found out 2 years ago some one was telling me that and I was shocked. Also Disneyland has a better Peter Pan Flight. wink I know I watched the ride on youtube. mrgreen
