Hehe...
Recently in SL, however, somebody created the "Copybot" which copies any physical objects, even against the creator of the onject's will.
There has been a lot of hype going against it, since it can copy other people's avatars while they're wearing them... It doesn't copy any script, but it is still a horrible item if you like being unique. People have devised copybot destroyers that sends a command that destroys the copybot's script, but they keep getting beaten (apparently)... I went to a place I would hang out recently, I got scared a bit... Even the guy who would play the live music wasn't in his normal psychedelic self, because he didn't want anyone stealing his design...
The people at Linden Labs (LL, and the group that created SL) have stated that since it breaks the ToS about copying things that were checked to not be copied, that anyone caught using it may be banned... Of course with the no payment info needed, this makes it easy to just come back with a new account...
Well, that's my rant for SL of the day. razz

Hmmm... Think I could just make this thread about that? I could change the name of the thread too... Nothing just real eventful happened (Unless a friend giving you a food recipe counts razz )
You know, I've yet to take a screenshot of me as a wyrmling... I'll do that later razz

That would be cool. We could get to know the world through you biggrin

Well, then... I can't say mcuh about widespread community, since I tend to hang out in only so many places...

Yesterday was fairly eventful razz ...
It started out like many other days... I was just conversing with the other wymr(ling)s in the cathedral of the Isle of Wyrms, when the sim crashes. I log back in to find myself in Pumacity (which was one of my favorite hangout spots before I found the IoW). This basically confirmed the sim had crashed (sim isn't a whole server per se, but they are big components of them... I assume... On the map, they're basically just squares... IoW consists of two sims: Limbo, and Lethe. Limbo being where the Cathedral is.)
Anywho, Limbo had crashed, so I teleported to Lethe to see if I could just walk North to Limbo. Nope. It was down. So, I spent a little time hanggi with the wyrm(ling)s at Lethe, got a new gesture ("/azumango": Tsukari Mashou!), when a notice comes "Server will restart in 5 minutes, please leave or yoll be logged out." Great... So I warp back to Pumacity... Shortly after I reach there, the same notice appears. So I warp into Serenity Woods, another place I used to hang out. Well, that stayed up, I met up with my dragoness... About 3:00PM SL time (same as PST), That dragon who plays started playing, as his usual pyschedelic self. I invited a few friends (read: all who were online and not busy). We had a time... But I couldn't stay too long after that, there was another party at the IoW scheduled. So I left, appreciative, with a marshmallow on a stick in my mouth razz (wyrmlings being quadropeds, can't exactly hold it in my hands).
At the party, I was left out of the dancing... Sure there was an object that I could click to start dancing, but it was intended for humans and anthros... I didn't wanna look like I was spazzing or convulsing, so I just went around passing marshmallows to people who wanted them. After a few hours, I had gotten slightly rich playing the money sploder (pay it at least L$10, and when it explodes, everyone who paid gets a share, with a chunk going to one lucky person), and as it died, another of my friends came online. Now, I first met this person the day I had become a wyrmling. She RPs as an eighteenth century explorer, and I felt it'd be interesting to invite her over to a party full of wyrm(ling)s. It was rather interesting, and I found out she has a blog, which describes "That life" in the eyes of an eighteenth centurian (That's me in the picture on the topic "Oh to be a Dragon" though that was before I learned how to customize my colors, so I'm in the natural Astral Wyrm(ling) coloring in that photo. And that is my SL name as well in the topic. Trigger Eclipse.)
Well, after I left the party, I headed back to the Cathedral, hung out for a bit, then logged out razz .

How was that for a day in the life? For all those times I used "Wyrm(ling)" it was because they are similar enough, but wyrms are much bigger, so by using that, I include all of them.
I tower over the average avatar as a wyrmling, and wyrms are twice my size.

Hehe... Watchtower razz

Yesterday was more or less uneventful... I did however learn the best way to reduse the lag when it comes to the hatching (the event I can obtain and adult wyrm). I'm not going to say anything about it (call me greedy if you'd like, but last thing I need is for competition to find out).
I didn't even leave the isle.

Nothing just exciting happened these past two days... Besides massive server problems from them being overloaded...
I rented an apartment that I really didn't care to... But I had reasons...

I didn't do much the past two days... I don't remember much from the previous day, but yesterday I was only on for maybe an hour... My lil sis is over for the entire thanksgiving holiday, and though I enjoy her being here, she is a compy hog...
I had spent most of yesterday reading and watching my roommate play Counterstrike and Lineage II

Thanksgiving, though fun in my first life, was rather gloomy in my second...
I had come online in my usual cheery and hyperactive self, wondering what to do and what to say. I was in the cathedral, and started to fly over to the sandbox (common term for public building area) when I saw two more people flying up to the cathedral (the cathedral's entrance is about 70 meters on the Z coordinate). Both of which good friends, I offered my usual "Haldo" in greeting. Teravus was in his usual anthro form of the Royal Wyrm (I forgot Teravus's title, but he works for the IoW in some form), and Tormento... Tormento was the first one I had spoken to about becoming a wyrm(ling) when I came to the Isle. When it came to telling about each wyrm, there was noone better, as well as his ability to read ones personality when it comes to helping someone choose which wyrm they want to be.
Well, we had met at the entryway and I noticed Tormento was in his human form, which did seem unusual, but he often took many forms. He didn't have his usual "IoW Guide" tag on, which was also odd in itself, but I didn't pay much attention. After our greeting, Tormento said "I'm just saying goodbye to the IoW."
This shocked me. This was the one guy I really respected in what he did. I actually wanted to do what he could as well. This was one of the last people I would have wanted to hear that from. We, as in him and I, weren't like close friends, but the way I took it could've said otherwise. I had asked why, and he simply said "My work is done." Teravus was there, but he didn't say much anything... I'm sure there was a little bit of concern, but in text, it sounded as though Teravus had just said "Alright see ya." which really made me wonder, as if I remember correctly, Tormento had said Teravus was his mentor, which brought to mind he had once said he was dedicated to the IoW...
Tormento had entered the cathedral, and flew around a few times, not saying anything. Then he came to the spot many of us usually stand around in and said goodbye, then left before anyone could say anything in respnse.
Now he did say he was staying in SL, but we all still want to know why he left. Quoting Sake, another guide, in response, "A guide's work is never done." I had looked up to Tormento, and seeing/hearing him leave just hurt me. That's like me coming into the guild and saying I'm leaving. I don't mean to sound whatever the word is that basically says I'm being arrogant and assuming that I'm one of the more important people in the guild, but I'm sure I would be missed if I left.
The rest of the day I had simply been trying to cheer up... The other wyrms were just as curious as to why he left as well (aside from one named Sin, who had said he may know the real reason he left, but promised him he wouldn't say anything to anybody... Quoting someone else "The one time he does shut his mouth.") I had gotten better throughout the course of the remaining day. I had to leave earlier though, since because my sister being here, hogging my computer, I'm on my roommate's, and he came back and kicked me off.
And that was my SL Thanksgiving... sad

Yesterday was mildly entertaining...
We had a trivia game on various things in the IoW... I learned there that my chances of getting an adult wyrm av will be slimmer than anticipated though...
Sims were crashing, and I watched X-Men 3 via streaming video.
Haven't been on today...

Yeah, it was much better, and at least this all happened after I ate razz .

Yesterday really wasn't worthy of note... I had helped this one guy understand things about the wyrm egg vendors, and he tipped me for it... I told him not to, but he did anyway... I got L$20.
Oh, there was Flea... I don't think I have mentioned Flea... Flea Bussy is her name. She makes dragon avatars. Not great ones, but she does (I say they look like avocados with legs.) I wouldn't mind so much if she didn't do what she does. She comes into the cathedral in IoW (that is where most of us wyrm(ling)s and hatchlings hang out, as well as where the vendors for Daryth's avs (the whole IoW is owned by Daryth Kennedy, and she made all of the wyrm avs that are there... That's 3 sizes each of about 13 varieties.)
Well, Flea comes to the cathedral, and advertises hers right there, despite numerous warnings that it isn't allowed. She insults staff as well... I could go on, but I don't remember it all... Anyway, the guardian that was there yesterday was like "I hope Daryth will permaban her from the isle." and I would agree too... I've only met Flea twice, and I cannot stand her myself.
