sarriss_sarriss [ Future Gohan ] sarriss_sarriss [ Future Gohan ] This game can be summed up in a few words. Its the best DBZ game ever made. ^__^ So You've Said lol, I'll stick with my SSW and DBZ:T2. I just don't know, I love the combo's and such in B2. Its what, three years old, and I still play it more then B3 and BT. I really want to play b3 but its too painfull to watch, all those stupid mini games piss me off and the graphics don't do its justice, I can see how b2 would be more playable with its pure cell shading which is so clean. Also, a lot of ppl give it a hard time for the story mode but I like it. What in the world are you talking about, the cell shading for B3 was incredible. Out of all of them i thought B2 was the worst. While waiting for B3 i found myself going back and playing B1 because I actually liked the 3D graphics from B1 alot and not to jump on the band wagon but even when i first played it i found myself hating that board game,it totally dragged you away from the story itself cus you had spend so much time re-fighting the same enemy a huge amount of times if they had alot of lives and then try and catch them if they run. As far as B2's gameplay it was very similiar to B1's aside from new techniques like the one rush attack that had you choose a button over the opponent which naturally the AI cheated almost 100% of the time on higher difficulties, and just like in B1 almost all of the characters had very similiar moves. Granted it was good in the way that it added more characters and such but overall i was glad to leave it behind once B3 came out. And I too love SC,I'm still planning to get 3 sometime once I'm done wading through the huge amount of games that have come out this fall, although I'm still bitter over the fact that they screwed PS2 fans by giving Heihachi as thier character instead of something all PS2 owners virtually wanted like Cloud or Sephiroth.

Awesome,so you know about the graphic styles in detail? I know what you mean with the difference between B2 and B3 but really the B3 models look much more detailed to me. And the reason i liked B1's graphics were the characters features didnt look so flat, and yes i know cel shading is 2D like derived from being flat but what i mean is like, for instance it's much more noticeable in both tenkaichi where their facial features are very flat. Like the mouth and eyes are like flat images ontop of the 3D model of the face so as the angle is changed from a front or 3/4 veiw to a profile veiw it becomes obvious and lacks the realism of emotion a full 3D model has. And remember B1 was made years ago when the PS2's technology still hadnt been greatly tapped into yet so by now better 3D models with more detail and better shadows and lighting would be possible. But really I love the models in Tenkaichi one and two except for the facial features for this reason.
