Max walk over to Tazzy and lay at her feet. Tazzy stroked his head as she watched the newcomer. Red hair. "Goodness, there are so many hair colors here." she thought to herself. Tazzy poured some tea and handed it to Lily. "I hope Max did not frighten you. He would not have hurt you, just kept you from leaving." Tazzy poured some tea for herself and sat back down to wait for this woman's story. Max was asleep immediately. Tazzy smiled at him and waited.

Lily eyed the fish, determined not to have any before saying, "I'm sorry, but I am quite unable to eat fish. It makes me itch and my throat closes. I have some raions, I'll make due with those. But thank you for your offer. And there isn't much story behind me; I've been sent to the town on the other side of the forest, Andvari I think it was. My parents have gotten a job for me there as a nanny in a noble house. I was just traveling when I ran into you all." She shrugged and pulled some traveler's bread and sausage from her pack. She eyed the apparent leader as she asked "And what of you all, there aren't many ppl out here."

Elemayne took a moment and thought about what the young lady had said. "I'm afraid you would be ill advised to continue on your present journey." she started. "I found that most of the Kingdoms in the land have fallen under the control of an evil force from the North." she added. "If you continue to Andvari, you will be doomed"

Lily looked at the woman in surprise. Doomed? Sounds a bit over the top. she thought with a chuckle. "Well ma'am, then I have nowhere to go. My parents can't afford food for me, I can't go back," she said depairingly. "What am I to do?"

“Well little one you could always travel with that group of misfits, you’re talking to there. Well Mykal over there needs all the help he can get if he every going to full fill his dream. And Tazzy needs someone to watch over. So I think your will fit in perfectly" She leaned back and started to laugh. Once Zanzara had traveled with fine warriors know she travels with this sorry lot she couldn’t stop laughing for some time.

"Misfits? Dream? I'm confused. Who are you all?" Lily asked, looking carefully at the others. Now that she thought about it, she had seen contracts on a few of these people. She had turned them down, but she had still memeorized the info. Even the crazy laughing one had a contract out. I've found a nest of turned down contracts. she thought with a chuckle.

She stopped laughing to answer the girl questions" They have joined as a group to help one another out in their goals. Just to point it out now so there is no mistake. The only reason I'm here is to make sure Tamalynn dose not end up on the end of someone sword." She smiled then contuined on" The rest are here for more honorable causes, but they can tell their own storys"

"Oh I see. Well, perhaps I shall travel with you all, if only for awhile, as long as it is ok with you guys." Lily said. She looked around, hoping to get more background.

Throughout all of this exchange, Tamalynn sat motionless, the bite of fish she had taken stuck like sawdust in her throat. She had quickly seen that nobody had recognized this woman, so she had hidden her own realizations about her for another time. Apparently everyone was at ease and Tamalynn hated to break the friendly repertoire.
She tried hard not to stare at the young woman's red braid, and suddenly excused herself to see to Onyx and wash her face in the stream

Tazzy felt Tamalynn's uneasiness. She wondered if it was from Zanzara's outburst or from the fact that she recognized Lily. There was a buzzing in Tazzy's head. She knew Lily from somewhere, but she did not know where. Zanzara was acting strange too. Well, she was glad that this girl was coming with them.
"Well, Lily, you are most welcome. We are not a group of misfits as Zanzara has said, we are just people coming together to help each. We were brought together for a reason. I am sorry about your family, but you may travel with us for as long as you wish. Have some tea? It is quite good and it will ease your worries." Tazzy poured some tea for Lily, Elemayne and Tamalyn. She then went to waken Max, "Wake up lazy one, Go watch. Keep an eye on Zanzara, she is acting strange today."
Max stretched awake with a wide yawn and shook his body. "I go my Princess." Max was off immediately.

Lily noticed one of the women staring at her and began to grow more wary. She knew the face, but it had somehow slipped her mind for the moment. Her attention was drawn away by the crazy one leaving and then one of the others talking to her. This woman looked familiar as well, and then Lily remembered. She had seen this woman when she was doing a job in another kingdom. She immeadiatly went on guard and answered cautiously. "Thank you my lady. I'd love some tea, and I'm pleased to be able to join you all." She took the proffered cup, but managed to dump it when nobody was looking, not trusting that it was only tea.

Tazzy smiled to herself as she saw Lily dump the tea. "Well Max, this one is cautious." Tazzy mindspoke to Max. "Well, I must tell you, I know this young lady. You remember when we passed thru Dulcete two towns from home. She was there in that tavern, The Frosted Pumpkin, caring for that nasty lady's children. She was quite kind to the children and she let them pet you. Lily took good care of those children. What was that Lady's name, do you remember? Well, it will come to me soon."
Turning to Lily, "You have nothing to fear from us or the tea. Please drink, refresh yourself. You will find that we all can be trusted. I believe that we met in Dulcete, some miles north of here?" Tazzy asked.
"Lord Mykal, I do believe we stay for a few days. How are you feeling this morning Lady Elemayne, you are looking quite well and most recovered."

Tamalynn watched from the shelter of foliage just outside the encampment a little longer, she wanted to measure this woman before she rejoined the group and spoke her piece.

Zanzara walked through the forest, she could hear something shadowing her movements. She turned around and then she saw the wolf" Max, if you want to keep on breathing you will not follow me any more. I may not like to travel with your group but I'm bond to so you don't have to worry about me doing anything that will put the group in trouble. So if you don't mind, I'll be on my way".
