The following is a continuation of an RP that was started in the Mammoth Hunters guild. It was an active RP so we, the players, were a bit put out when the owners of the guild chose to sell it without notice. We have brought it here in hopes that it will continue to flourish. New players are welcome. Just introduce yourself and jump right in.

The Players...
Lord Mykal - rightful ruler of a far off land. His father, the King, was killed and the throne usurped by the King's regent. He is traveling the countryside mustering support for his return to the throne.
Lady Elemayne - Elven princess and wife to Lord Mykal. She has faithfully followed her husband in his journey to gain support. She wields mysterious magical powers but claims to have no magic of her own. She is a beautiful singer.
Tazzy Wolfstar - Wandering mage and healer. Travels with her changling wolf cub Max.
Zanzara - Bounty Hunter and warrior. She is bound to the Princess Tammlynn by a family oath. She is accompanied by her Cougar companion Star.
Princess Tammlynn - The daughter of a King who has decreed that magic is against the law. Her own magical abilities have seperated her from her father. She is unsure of her own magical abilities.

The story so far...
Tazzy Wolfstar arrives in a village just in time to save the Kings son and heir from a mortal wound. She is given free reign but is still unwelcome.
Zanzara also arrives and is set upon by bandits. With Tazzy's help she defeats the would be robbers.
Lord Mykal, having arrived at one last village to meet with its King and discuss his return to the throne, is dining in an Inn when Tazzy brings a wounded Zanzara in and asks for a room. Lady Elemayne excuses herself and joins the girls at the request of their animals.
The next morning, having witnessed the Lady's power, Tazzy asks to join Lord Mykal and Elemayne. She convinces Zanzara to do the same. Princess Tammlynn, having slipped out of the castle for a ride, meets Lord Mykal and Lady Elemayne at the Inn. She has to leave quickly to avoid the guards that are looking for her.
Mykal and Elemayne travel to the castle to meet with the King. Princess Tammlynn confides in Elemayne about visions she has been having. In an effort to help, Lady Elemayne goes into a trance with the Princess and discovers an evil power poised to take over this kingdom also. Mykal, Elemayne and the Princess are forced to flee, with Elemayne calling up a storm to help them escape. They are joined by the other two in their flight but before they make it out, Lady Elemayne is wounded by a magic using Prince. The same one that Tazzy saved.
Princess Tammlynn, in a panic, teleports the group to a forest somewhere beyond the danger. The group has no idea where they are but they are safe. They perform a healing spell on Elemayne who gets up and stumbles into the forest. Lord Mykal advises everyone not to follow so no one sees her transform into a tree.
Zanzara informs Tammlynn of her blood oath to protect the Princess while Lord Mykal makes camp for the night. Everyone soon falls into some sort of sleep.

And so we continue...
Mykal awoke with the first rays of the sun. He smiled as he passed the freshly stoked fire on his way to the forest. After tending to some morning business, he returned to find Lady Elemayne standing by the fire. She was as radiant as ever. Even more so. She looked years younger and showed no signs of the trauma that had befallen her. He went to her side and wrapped her in a loving embrace. "I have news" she stated. "But it can wait until after breakfast" she added as she held up two large fish. Mykal wasted no time cleaning and spitting the fish. Soon the succulent smell filled the campsite and those still sleeping started to stir.

(hope you guys don't mind, thought I'd join in)
Running quietly through the forest, Lily heard sounds of occupation. "There shouldn't be anyone in here" she thinks in surprise. She follows the noise cautiously, and saw a whole camp of bedraggled nobles. Sneaking around tha camp she noticed about five people. She narrowed her violet eyes in suspicion and continued to slink around the camp.

Tamalynn woke suddenly with the feeling of someone looking over her shoulder, but shook it off as she took in the comforting presence of Mykal and the delicious aroma of fish in the air.
Tamalynns eyes widened as she saw Elemayne sitting near the fire, looking so young and more beautiful than before, it was quite hard not to stare, but at the same time she wanted to catch Elemaynes eye, she knew Elemayne knew something.
Onyx nudged Tamalynn and she stood up and straightened her skirts as best she could and walked to the fire and sat across from Elemayne to wait for breakfast.
((welcome aria, glad to have you. wish i could get more of the rp history in here, though Mykal did an excellent job for us, its great!!))

"There is another here, my love. You are all safe. Star and I watch." Max spoke softly to Tazzy's mind.
Tazzy sat up and looked around. Noticing Elemayne, she smiled "How wonderful she looks. Max, Lady Elemayne has incrediable powers. She looks as if nothing has happened. I know that it was not my healing that transformed her. Who is watching us?" Slowly, Tazzy looked directly at this person moving around the outer edges of their camp.
Looking over at Lord Mykal, Tazzy was certain that he was aware of this person, too. "Max bring this person to us. Don't not hurt her, just bring her to Lord Mykal."

Lily pushed the hood of her cloak back a bit and looked at these people in confusion. After watching them for about twenty minutes she was completely confused. And although she was using all her immense spying skills, she was sure that she had been spotted. Just as she turned to leave, Lily noticed a rather large wolf cub standing behind her. She cursed and followed the cub into the camp, pulling her hood up.

Mykal's eyes narrowed as the stranger entered the camp followed by the wolf cub. His hand went instinctively to the knife at his side. Elemayne's hand covered his. "Don't" she said. " She is just as confused at our presence as we are at hers" she continued. Then turning to the newcomer. "Come child, have something to eat with us. You have nothing to fear." She turned and smiled warmly at Tazzy and the Princess. "Has anyone seen Zanzara this morning?"

From under her hood, Lily looked at the group close up. In surprise she noted someone she recognised, though she would never be recognised. "Hello and good day to you all. It's a pleasure to meet you, one and all. " she said with a bow, leaving her face shadowed.

Zanzara looked down from her tree as the new person walked into the other's camp. She decided that the girl was not a threat so she figured the Princess would be safe for some time. She jumped out of her tree and landed on the ground. “I’ll be back" Then she walked off into the forested.

Tamalynn noticed Mykal's reach for his knife and then noticed the woman walking into the camp with Max trailing behind. She felt an electric pulse shiver through her and had to physically restrain herself from jumping up. She didn' know why, but felt it was quite important to keep her compuser in front of this hooded stranger.
Tamalynn shot a quick glance at Elemayne who didn't seem to be troubled by this presence. The amulet against Tamalynns throat seemed to pulse a bit, but remained cool against her skin.
After hearing the womans greeting, Tamalynn dared to ask her to remove her hood so she might be seen and greeted in return.

Zanzara turned around to take one last look at the camp before she left. When she did she saw Tamalynn face and she looked worried. So she started to walked back to the camp. The cougar started to follow her, in the cougars mind she told her" I don't worry I can watch over her right now, you go off and hunt"
The cougar ran off, as Zanzara walked into the edge of the camp.

Lily debated how to answer the request to lower her hood. Finally, she cautiously lowered her hood, exposing her long red braid and analyzed the reactions of the others as she looked around. She kept her hand on her knife as she watched for any trouble.

Mykal looked at the young woman and shrugged. He turned and proceeded to check the fish. Convinced that it was done, he removed them both and took a portion for himself and sat down.
Elemayne placed a small portion in a bowl and handed it to the newcomer. "Won't you sit and tell us about yourself, child" she asked. She then moved over to where Mykal was sitting and joined him.
