*Adonis looked upon the woman in awe. He always believed it, of course, why wouldn't he - but ... here she was a woman from the Brink of Time, sitting in Kal's room, as if she belonged there just as much as anything else in sight. The first person to come to their time from another.*

Well, no, we've been told that the people who enter the Brink of Time are mostly human. We just believe that - they are greater than human. They are chosen.
