and that Aruseus pokemon. What's his story? xp
Ah, but Dialga looks cooler to me though.

@ Kilana: If you beat FireRed, you can send over the stuff you've trained on Diamond/Pearl via the "Pal Park" feature that lets get stuff from your GBA games.
@ Kirby: They differ in type, one is Dragon/Water the other Dragon/Steel. I don't know much about their story since I couldn't read in the game. xd There's also a third Dragon/Ghost.
Arceus is supposed to be the "Creation Pokemon", so people call it a God, and its one of those you have go to the mall to get.

Wilhemina @ Kilana: If you beat FireRed, you can send over the stuff you've trained on Diamond/Pearl via the "Pal Park" feature that lets get stuff from your GBA games. eek I was wondering if there was a feature for that. So does that mean I can trade from the GBA port on the DS to the DS cart no problem? =O If so, then I might have a little more inspiration to get moving on FireRed (or start it over so I can get a better momentum, I really screwed myself when I rushed to get to E4 xd ), or possibly pick up Emerald as well. Oooooooh.

There will be many who will be ecstatic to trade stuff on WiFi if you're missing anything, but FireRed + Emerald would help out a lot in getting the older Pokemon. 3nodding
When the time comes, I pretty much have everything, so will trade things for free. I wouldn't mind the occasional donation of a cool berry, berries rock.
(Or even Gaia crap I guess, I like socks. It wouldn't be an exchange, but a gift in your thanks.) ninja

does the Pal Park feature extend to Ruby/Sapphire?
I'm standing in front of these copies as I speak, and wonder if I should brush up on my poke-ness

I did a quick google search on it. As far as I can tell, it works with any Advance version of Pokemon. Maximum 6 per day, per cartridge transfer. You basically go into a park with some 100% capture rate balls and transfer whatever 6 pokemon you run into first.
At least, thats what I gather.

Yes, that's right. You can also insert the game paks while playing Diamond/Pearl to have different Pokemon show up in the grass. Such as if you had FireRed inserted on the GBA side, and ran around near the first town on Diamond, Growlithe would appear for you to catch.

What? Now I'm kinda confused. o-o I don't get to transfer the ones I actually worked on? I just have a chance of catching ones from that version in the wild? Or what's the Pal Park then? XD

Same level, stats, shiny, etc. in the Pal Park
Just random in appearance, I suppose.

There are various features that are complicated at first, but awesome when understood. The feature I described is just useful, since you have to beat the Elite Four before being able to use Pal Park. The other feature you can use right away.
I have lots of stuff since I got the Japanese game, so feel free to ask for trades too. xd

never bought red, blue or yellow.. played those with an emulator.
did buy silver, won a crystal during a celebi event (also gotten and still have the celebi-tour shirt) played TGC for a very long time, also started to play it again. also have a TGC tournament shirt. also did the prof test and earn my prof cards. had a pretty high ranking, mostly because i owned at foreign tournaments. the best time we dutch had in belgium, was when we owned so badly all semi- finalists were dutch players. normally only 3 dutch and 5 belgiums, but we were owning from the very start. still got a certain reputation, but i need to prove myself again as one as the better players. gotten greenleaf and im enjoying it still. will buy pearl ( and an DS ) as soon as its released in europe.
