"Looking for someone else...? Do you know anyone from--" she started. She didn't know anyone from the 'outside' could ever come to this place.
But she cut herself off because she was sure now that the person in front of her was indeed addressing her and could help her out.
She ran ahead of him, moving through the crowd easily because she could phase through people. When she did, she left some of them dropping to the ground, curling up as though they were suddenly afflicted with an epidemic.
This only caused a further riot, as soon people were falling over and those who were still left standing were shouting ways to execute the outsider who was bringing ill fate upon them all.

*Tavin didn't pause for a moment as the spectre moved towards her friend. He deftly wove in and out of the panicked mob, always a step behind her*
Well, this trip definately won't be as boring as I first thought it would be....

He could see the two people coming up towards him -and the one starting the riot was his ghostly friend.
"What are you doing here???" he shouted at the top of his lungs to what seemed to everyone else like thin air.

"Oh no..!" she gasped as she saw the flock of people fall over. Her efforts had only made things worse. "Please!" she looked behind her at the one following her. "Can we get him out of here without hurting anyone?"
These were the people she had been taught to give her life to -the people of her city were the only reason for her being. Now that she was dead she had nothing to contribute... and what's more was that she was even hurting them...

*Tavin leaps forward towards Audyhnnh and the crowd gathered around him*
Without HURTING or without seriously injuring? Because NOT causing pain is not really something that I'm very well versed in. Well....... let's try getting their attention first and see how it goes from there....
*Tavin flips over a faceless person in the crowd, vaulting closer to Audyhnnh and slams his fist into the ground, cracking it with a thunderous boom*

People saw what power the new-come stranger had and all went silent and began to back off rather quickly.
She ran up the path to meet them, but stopped when she saw the person coming out of the building.
"Please don't hurt anyone..." she said again, but it wasn't clear this time who she was saying it to.
A woman with a large, rich headress came walking out of the large building behind them -the building the mob had been on their way to take Audyhnnh to.
The people gathered around again, calling her a songstress and asking her to do something about the strangers who have been causing all the problems.
The songstress opened her mouth, and instead of a song it sounded like a strange inflection of notes. Suddenly the men and women seemed braver and began to take a more intimidating physical appearance.

"F***ing great.." he muttered to himself seeing the songstress come out from the building. He wondered what in the world was going on and how on earth Tavin managed to get here...
Not that it mattered... All he had to do was make sure he did exactly nothing because he wasn't supposed to 'hurt' anyone. It's not as easy as it sounds... ever since Wykron and his true self resurfacing, he had had a harder time controlling his powers...

Well, admittedly... This was a shoddily put together plan.
*Tavin yelled over at Audyhnnh*
Hey you.... The guy. Think you could maybe run away while I distract them or something? I would quite frankly rather NOT be killed here. Nor would I like to be haunted by your ghost as well as your girlfriend's.

"And where exactly am I supposed to run to??" he hissed. He'd only been trying to get away for the past day... Of course... If he didn't use his powers, he was no real match for the newer, braver versions of the towns people who were ready to mob him... But if he did use his powers, he'd end up killing these people in front of Selurnis.
He could try running for it... "WHERE should I run?" he asked again.

She stood by and watched helplessly. She knew what the songstress could do -she used to be one. This certainly wasn't the first time, but now -more than ever, it seemed -she wanted a body. If only she could have a body with a voice -she could combat this other songstress.

Back the way that you got here in the first place? barring that... I would suggest in the opposite direction of the angry people trying to kill you. And if THAT doesn't work, I would suggest trying the path with the LEAST amount of angry people trying to kill you.

It was almost a bit too late, as the mob had begun to rush him from all sides.
"Great..." he grumbled. "BACK OFF!!" he roared, raising a wall of fire around himself to put off the mob for now.
He shook his head, trying to find a place to run to.

"Unless we can go back to the Brink, there's no way out of here!" she shouted out to the man who was helping them. "The city is enclosed in a dome and surrounded by water deep undersea. You'll either drown or be crushed by the water pressure the moment you try to leave this city!"

*Tavin took a deep breath and then let out a truly inhuman screech. The sound was so deafening that it shattered glass. With that he leapt to where Audyhnnh was and tried to help him up, looking back towards where Selurnis was*
That looks as good a place to go as any.....

The people backed up a bit, but they weren't as stunned as they probably should've been. The Mervillians, through evolution and the use of Songstresses, have developed a totally different sense of hearing than most other races or even species.
