the anchors them self can be removed with a scalpel. From what I've seen/understand, it's not all that big of a deal to remove the things.
Interesting... But coming from the time when removing a piercing was *pop* "It's out! biggrin", a scalpel seems much to me. sweatdrop Thankee~ :]

Ehh. Maybe im just different. The thought of having to take a small anchor out with a scalpel doesn't really bother me at all. After all, they are (if done correctly) very sturdy. they can take alot of abuse, and still be just fine, So the chance of rejection, and thus for having to remove one is greatly decreased from standard old surface piercings.
