Kagemaru sat behind his desk contemplating the situation that would engulf the ninja nations in the coming days. "As we stand we have no allies and a world of enemies....... but with the research Kobu is doing the tide of this upcoming war could very well turn out in Sounds favor." muttered the man to himself as he would be one of the ninja on the front line when war broke out.

"oh really? so what is your plan?" asked the kage his eyes upon Kobu's device.

"well here's a better way for you to see..." the guards left to watch the exits and patrol the building for unwanted guests to make sure the plan was kept secret. Kobu pulled a video tape from his lab coat and placed it into the kage's video player. The contents of the video showed the experiments being performed upon the Gobi and while the video played Kobu dimmed the lights and took a place next to the Kage secretly holding a small tube that was attached to the machine in his hand.

Kagemaru watched the video intently his attention glued to its contents as he was amazed at Kobu's progress. Suddenly a sharp pain struck Kagemaru's neck and a loud humming could be heard from the machine, the Kage's body became numb and could barely keep itself upright as the machine infused the weeks stored amount of chakra directly into his body. "Wha...what are you do...doing?!" yelled Kagemaru before a seringe was thrust into his chest introducing the Gobi's DNA into his system. The injection of the DNA forced increased the potency of the chakra ten-fold becoming too much for the kage to handle and forcing him to pass out.

"Sleep well my friend you'll need it." whispered Kobu as he hefted Kagemaru's body and took it to his lab.
