Kagemaru sat behind his desk and just manipulated his wires around the room to entertain himself as without having a position in the war his life was beginning to bore him.

Kagemaru slided into his seat and looked at Shen angrily. "Why have you come here?" spoke the Kage.


"I have come to talk about our position in the war that has consumed the other villages and I was wondering if we were going to have an alliance with any of the warring villages?" asked Shen.

"And you would like us to join those leaf dogs now wouldn't you? you think that I don't know intentions of every ninja within my own village! I knew of your travels to Konoha and how you attacked Suna ninja. If any country has our backing it is the Wind country!!! they have allied themselves with us before and I can trust them far more than I could ever trust a leaf ninja." replied Kagemaru.

Shen began to sweat as he had no idea his entire life was being watched. "Sir I was only there to......" Shen then jumped from his seat and ran for the door knowing that he had already gone too far and ther was no way he would be allowed to live if he stayed.

Kobu excitedly ran into the office of the Otokage and perched himself upon the desks corner. "Sire I have found out the last item we need before my project is finished! I need the hero water of the waterfall village! Only that special medium is capable of properly raising my pets and I must have as much as you can get your hands on............... Forgive me my liege I was ahead of myself. I had produced one working warrior but after prolonged exposure to the world it fell away and died but with the hero water those minor flaws can be smoothed out easily." Explained Kobu.

"Is that so...... well then how do we go about attaining waterfalls hero water? or do you forget they have allied themselves with leaf? If we were to go and steal this water we would be surrounded before you could even apply its properties to your procedure. We need to go about this in a calculated manner, either we ally with waterfall itself or..... we choose to join Rain and take the water with the end of the war." explained Kagemaru.


"I need not bother with the trivial questions.... I need the water to produce results and that is the bottom line. I don't care how you get it I just need it." barked Kobu.

The small bird returned and perched itself upon Kagemaru's shoulder.

"There the letter has been delivered and your gift shall be aquired soon." spoke Kagemaru.

The bird upon Kagemaru's shoulder chirped to get his attention. "I know my little friend all is going according to plan... Kobu I need you to take this to.....********" spoke the kage purposly saying the last bit at a frequency only Sound ninja's trained ears could hear.

A kunai shatters the glass of the kage's office and a moment later Kobu has appeared knelt on knee. "I have done what was asked and as always you intelligence was correct.... I apologize for my doubts." spoke the scientist before leaving back to the prison.

"Actually I do, Kobu has informed me that you have an interest in human experimentation? Well he has asked that you go out and retrieve for him several animal DNA samples and bring them to him in the prison." replied Kagemaru.
