I was only kidding. Ahaha.
I forgot to mention that Deepika's role could really have only been pulled off by her. I'm glad Farah Khan found a newcomer for the role. I mean, I guess you can say Preity and Rani have been typecast into certain roles. They wouldn't have been able to pull off the elegance (maybe Rani) in the beginning, a movie star, that sort of thing. A lot of other girls like Esha seem to be in movies like Cash or Dhoom, those car chase movies... not suited for OSO. Doesn't seem like Aish's cup of tea, either. While Aishwarya has elegance, I don't know if it was her role, either... so I'm really glad they found Deepika for Om Shanti Om. I hope I see more of her in other films. smile
Now, go and see Om Shanti Om!

Also, the beginning was just hilarous with Shahrukh!! I'd watch it again if only for that part. Although, it's been several hours since I watched it and I want to see it again even still. Ugh, I guess I'll wait until next weekend for it... sigh.

I listened to like all teh songs...I only liked 2 of them. I really liked that Deewanagi song though...teh one with everyone in it. Yeah!

I didnt like this movie ...even tho im a srk fan ....i have to say i was really dissapointed ....there was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much overacting ....the first half was ok but the second half i wanted to go to sleep....and the ending was pointless ...made me feel as if they just ran out of time so they cut it there.

HERE HERE. I basically agree. The story was kind of all over the place and as much as I love the parodies/cameos, they kind of distracted me from what was going on. It was a stupid story :/ the only good things WERE the extras/parodies/cameos. Scenes seemed misplaced. Deepika has a future. I finally liked Abhishek as an actor and he wasn't even really in the movie, haha! The movie didn't dar de disco into my favorite list.

AND don't think I missed that the villain in OK's film (the one he shoots Dar de disco for) happened to be named Ranbir.
