Nalini wasn't evil. She wasn't uncaring either. But at times, she lacked when it came to her observation skills. Therefore, when the mare smiled, she didn't notice the sad glint in her eyes. However, often, her bolder side made up for this lack.
"Oh" she muttered "I'm having a hard time believing you could just leave something like that in your past" she shook her head slightly "I don't think I would" she smiled weakly at the other mare "I don't mind listening to your stories though, really" she tried to give the mare what she thought to be an encouraging smile "I'll be here to listen if you need it"
Glancing up, she replied "I suppose. Ah, well, it is such a lovely day..." the agreement was evident in her voice "Apples?" ears perked, she got up in a flash "what are we waiting for?" came the answer, followed by a cheeky wink.

"Well if you get stuck on the past, you can't move forward." She said with a cheery voice. She stood up gracefully as she looked about for a second. She adjusted her wings and looked to the other mare.
She laughed. "Yes... I think they were yellow ones." She said sweetly. Her belly growled a little which made her look down. "Well, perhaps we should hurry." she said with a small giggle

Nalini looked at the blue mare for a few seconds, before looking forward again. She couldn't help but feel that something was off "But if there are unresolved things in your past, you can never truly move forward" she disagreed.
Humming slightly, her ears twisted around slightly "All the better" Lini replied, and giggles slightly as the other mare's belly started growled. The giggle turned into a full fledged laugh as her own stomach soon joined in on the growling, and she yelled "Come on then, show the way, oh lady of guidance" as she took off in no particular direction.

"I'm sure they are as resolved as it's going to get." She flicked her tail and started walking the way she had came. " I think it's this way." She giggled as the other called her a Lady of Guidance. " I don't believe it's a big tree either, so no one will have to fly to get a few apples to fall." She said.
Though, horns were good with that too, except for when they got stuck on them

Nalini nodded her head and accepted that the other mare didn't want to talk about her past. And she wasn't about to push her newfound friend.
Glancing around to see where the mare was heading, Nalini realized that she was walking in the completely wrong direction, and immidiately turned on the spot, trotting to reach the other mare "oops?" she supplied, and grinned.
She looked at the alicorn with surprise in her eyes "You know, I've never thought of that before" she said "it must make life SO much easier if you can just fly up and get the good apples"

"Well, I wouldn't say it's too much easier." she giggled for a second. "See, if I fly too close, I could hit my wing on a tree, or if I fly too far away, I could fall just trying to reach the apple." She said with a nod. "It's just easier not to fly at all." She smiled.
Or at least, not to fly around trees. It makes it much easier to do some things, but she liked walking a lot better then flying when she didn't have to fly. "I don't know, I guess I'm more of a walking type, then flying unless I half to."
