Jeevita walked gently in an opened field after landing not too long ago. Her wings were slightly unfolded to get air flowing under her feathers. It was a hot day. Under her wings had started to sweat a little. She continued to walk to try to get more air there.
She didn't like days like this. They were too hot. She shook her head to get air through her mane and flicked her tail as well. She glimmered even more when she was a little sweaty in the sun light. Her bracelets and necklace also shined in the daylight. It would make her noticeable for about a mile or two if the land was straight.

Nalini had trotted her way to a big grassy field. They day was a warm one, but she found that she throughoutly enjoyed the heat. Her short cropped mane provided little warmth when in colder climates, hence she preferred the heat.
With her orange and black colors against the bright green, she too, stood out. However, being the soquili she now was, also meant that she didn't care much. She could probably handle whatever might come her way anyways.
That, however, didn't stop her heart from stopping for a split-second in surprise, as she glanced up and saw a rather twinkling soquili make its way on the field. It was hard to make out any specific features, as the sun made the other soquili seem positively blinding. Furrowing her brows slightly, Nalini opened her mouth and gave a loud "OI!" to make herself known to the stranger.

Jeevita hadn't seen the other until a voice filled the air. She quickly glanced in the direction it was coming from to set her eyes upon a black and orange soquili. From how far she was, she couldn't tell any features on the mare except that she was a mare. Turning slightly, Jeevita decided it was best to start walking towards the other since she had already seen her.
Not saying anything yet, Jeevita went into a slight trot to get alittle closer to her. "Hello." She said as she was close enough now to talk to the female without yelling. Seeing now that the other was a unicorn and had a flower necklace. The necklace made her think of her friend Cualtzin, and she gave alittle giggle to herself. Not that it was the same type of flower that Cualtzin wore, but any flowers she saw seemed to remind her of her hyper old friend.
"I didn't notice you there." she said honestly. "Sorry if I happened to blind you in any way." She said as she looked up at the sun and then down at her hooves. She didn't like being so shiny sometimes. Especially during the day.

((...Kiya, you wrote "doing the day" *is in a complete gigglefit*))
Nalini smiled at the other soquili. She seemed nice enough. She raised a slight eyebrow as the other started giggling, but wasn't really bothered by it. She knew she perhaps looked a tad bit different, and she also knew that she wasn't exactly one of the prettiest soquilis out there. Why, compared to the blue mare in front of her, she was nothing.
Shrugging slightly she replied "nah, no worries. I would say its not your fault, but that would be a complete lie" she gave a small laugh to show that she wasn't aiming to be mean "couldn't see anything for your own sparkliness, eh?" she teased, before sobering up a bit "Either way, I'm Nalini. Nice to meet ya"

(( Lol! I swear... I got more then 3 hours of sleep. >w>;; It's fixed! ))
Jeevita gave a nervous laugh, she had totally forgot that she wasn't walking anymore and looked back to her feet then back at the mare. She inclined her head to the mare. "Nice to meet you, I'm Jeevita." She said with another nervous laugh. "Yeah... Well, we really choose our own colors." She said in response.
"I like your flower." She said with a sweet smile. "My friend Cualtzin would love it. It kind of reminded me of him." She said. It was a really pretty flower. It matched her just like Jeevita's necklace matched her.

At the mentioning of her flower, Nalini looked down. "oh, this thing?" she nipped at it slightly without making any damage to the fragile petals "its been with me since forEVER... I don't even remember where, when OR how I got it" she shrugged slightly, showing her slightly careless nature.
"Cualtzin?" she questioned, trying to pronounce the slightly different name correctly "that sounds almost as if it was a male's name..." her eyes widened slightly in disbelief "you're not trying to tell me that you know a GUY that would enjoy something like this?! Flowers?!" she broke in to a loud laugh "I guess that’s just me being stereotypical, but I'm finding it positively hilarious! You'll have to introduce me to this fellow one day!" she grinned, before cocking her head slightly to the side.
"You don't seem comfortable at all in this heat... come, walk with me, we can go find a more shaded area?" she offered "on the way, you can tell me more about yourself! I'm just dying to hear just how you managed to become so... well... sparkly" she grinned.

She nodded at her disbelief at a male liking flowers. She didn't know why it would be so hard. Cualtzin was strange though. Very hyper and always in a good mood. "I'm sure you might run into him before you run into me again. "She giggled. Cualtzin was always everywhere. Trying to make friends and hoping that none of them were mean.
"Oh?" She said in response to the other about the heat. "Yes, It's a bit warm for my taste. But I do have these wings that don't help much either." She said looking to her back. Her wings were still not touching the side of her in hope that a nice breeze would come through.
"About myself, and how I became shiny?" She asked raising an eye brow as she nodded. "Shade sounds lovely." She shook her mane again.

As they headed towards a small cluster of trees that provided at least some form of shade, Lini smiled "Well, he sure sounds like a nice fellow to me. I should hope I meet him sooner or later, if what you say is true" grinning, she continued "I suppose we could have a very interesting conversation about flowers" she stated and winked at the other mare.
Nodding, she responded "Exactly! I mean... where do you come from? Surely you must be from somewhere foreign, like me and the few other flower-like soquilis you might have met on your ways?" angling her head slightly she continued "of course, we could also just continue talking about the weather, but I thought perhaps discussing something else would be a bit more entertaining" she jested.

She raised her eye brow as she said there was more. More of flower soquili? Strange really, but she couldn't really talk. There had been a lot of gem soquili when she had came. "Oh? I'm just a Turquoise gem." She said with a smile. "I am not exactly sure where I came from, but yes, I am not from here." She said thinking back on her past.
She remembered her mother, and that was it. She walked a bit slower then the other mare. "Though, it's not far from here, but I don't know what it's called. " she gave a giggle.

Returning the smile, Nalini replied "...and I'm just a Tigerlily" she nodded before continuing "but I suppose you and I are somewhat in the same boat then..." she trailed off for a few seconds "I too, am not certain about my origins... All I really remember was that this flower was given to me, while someone telling me to guard it the best I could"
Shaking her head slightly to rid herself from the odd memories, she gave a short laugh "I suppose you and I, despite our differences, are quite a bit a like, aren't we?" she giggled "especially seeing as we're polar opposites when it comes to our colors... you with your blue and white, and me with my orange and black... It's almost too comical, isn't it?"

Jeevita nodded and gave a giggle. "I guess that's true. Though, I guess it's true about all new soquili that come in groups. Is it not?" She asked thinking about all the soquili that just seemed to appear. Most of them in groups, though some that came alone.
They were getting close the the shaded area. She hadn't noticed at how close they were. "Oh?" she looked down at her self and at her hair. "I believe your right about that. "She giggled as she looked at the Unicorn.

Nalini simply smiled and shook her head "I honestly wouldn't know... I'm still slightly new to all of this" she gestured with her head, making a wild circular movement with her horn "so I haven't met many others yet..."
Upon reaching the shaded area formed by the large green trees, Nalini flung herself down in the lush grass, quite ungracefully. Looking up at the still standing alicorn she smiled cheekily and said "Care to join me, almighty Vita?" before frowning slightly "You don't mind if I call you Vita, do you?"

She raised an eye brow for a split second. She had never had anyone call her Vita, though, it wasn't something that seemed to bother her either. She shook her head. "I don't mind." She said with a calm voice. She gracefully laid down the opposite side of the orange and black mare so they could talk with out straining their necks.
"I'm sure it won't take long before you meet more people. Though, a word of advice is to watch yourself with some of them." She said with a nod. Having lots of horrible experiences here, she thought it best she knew. "There aren't just dangers that just lurk on evil horses, there are some that lurk on good too." As she said this memories passed through her mind she wish she could get rid of. She gave a smile to orange and black mare, though her eyes had sorrow and pain in them.

Nalini had picked up on the wonder the alicorn had felt upon hearing the shorter nickname, and had held her breath, hoping the mare really wouldn't mind. It would be so terrible if they ended up fighting over something like that. So when the other soquili had declared that it was okay, she let out a relieved sight, and smiled genuinely at the mare.
However, as Jeevita began her warning, Lini's face quickly fell, and was replaced by one of utmost seriousness. She had before been warned that she should look out for evil-minded soquilis, but this was the first time she had been warned of such a thing, by someone who had seemingly experienced it herself. Sadness shone out of the alicorn, and Lini offered her a sympathetic smile
"I thank you for your warning... you have been hurt, haven't you?" Realizing that perhaps it was none of her business, she quickly continued "I realize that this may be none of my business, and I apologize for asking."

She gave a nod. "I've been hurt many times in the past, but that's what it is... The past." She gave a smile. She wore fake smiles on her face. "It's nothing that can be undone, and nothing that I expect will be." She gave a laugh. "I'm just lucky to have survived certain dooms." She seemed cheery now, her eyes showed the happiness lie as well. She was getting good at that. "Anyways, enough stories of me." She said with a giggle.
"It's rather too depressing for a day like this. Don't you agree?" She asked as she looked about at the beautiful sky above. No need to spoil it over stupid old stories of pain and suffering. "Are you hungry? I think I saw an apple tree on my walk here."
