I am just learning sabre. I had no idea how to spin it 4 winterguard try outs so I didnt try out. I love sabre so much. My sabre is my baby. I practice spinning it 4 hours a day, I really hope to make sabre line in the fall.

Angelic_Zel ywah about that sabre solo, I didnt get it , my capitan got it and she didnt tryout or anything, it was just "hey, your capitain so Im going to give you a huge long solo on equpment you hate! Isnt that wonderful!!!" xP that happens all the time in my guard. but then again then same people ALWAYS get solos. my bff has had three solos this year and we're only first years! i wanna solo... crying

ugh...i learned the basics of sabre last summer, but this year, i had the least experience (i joined guard in 8th grade, and last year i was a freshman) so i didn't even know how to spin rifle properly, but EVERYONE was required to spin rifle, but not sabre, in high school, and i had done a triple on rifle last summer...but i taught myself...on the wrong side...so i tried to catch up to everyone else on rifle, and since i wasn't required to spin sabre.....i kinda can't do...well...anything on it..... crying well...i guess i know what i'm doing next year!!!!
