Aurelia slowly stood as she wipped her tears with ehr long dark sleeve. Her cheeks were still moist and her eyes red, she ruffled her bangs so that they his her eyes, her hair fell cascading down past her waist. That night there would be no moon to light through the darkness, just like the light had vanished from Aurelia's heart.
"My King may you rest, for I promise you that your death shall be avenged. I will drag Darius with me to Hell if I must. This I swear!"
Her black mare slowly rode up to her, it nuzzled against Aurelia's cheek.
"Selene my old friend. Always trying to cheer me up, you must get tired of that. I know that I'll always be able to trust you, even if you were a gift from Darius, you are the only thing I have left to cherish..." she said softly as Aurelia stroked the horse's long black mane.

(Shall there be more RPers involved than just the 3 of us?...I do hope so...)
Koen consumed his meal reluctantly without the usual vigor he shown. He was the best knight his kingdom had, and he realized how much was depending on the success of him bringing down Darius once and for all. Looking around the hall, he noticed some of his fellow knights were nowhere to be seen. He nonchalantly finished and left the room.
Stars usurped the night sky, but there was moon to be found. He retired to his room and gazed at them, wondering in a daze if he would ever could do what his heart desired so: reveal his love to Aurelia. Koen forced the thought out of his mind with much effort. The valiant knight took to sleep soon after, his dreams filled with various brilliant strategies to defeat Darius will be, though none seemed quite good enough to quell the beast that slaughtered his own father.

Aurelia woke up in the middle of the night. Her screams were muffled by her hands as tears streamed down her pale features, her heart felt about to burst out from her chest.
Last night she had arrived very late to her room, collapsing on her bed from exhaustion. Soon after her dreams took control. Aurelia dreamt of a garden of endless roses, all of them white. She stood in a daze, before she felt a familiar voice whispering to her. When she turned, Darius stood before her, his dark hair fell down his broad shoulders. His once beautiful eyes tainted with lust and greed. Darius'once bautiful and handsome face twisted in a crooked smirk, fangs piercing his lower lip, his once clear and warm eyes, dark and cold. With a great amount of force, Darius pushed her to the ground, his large body crushing hers. He forced cruel and painful kisses on her mouth as the roses turned black. Darius forced her to drink his blood.
"All that is left is you Aurelia...you WILL be mine!" he said as he laughed cruelly.
At that moment Aurelia woke from her cruel nightmare, gasping for air and trembling in fear of what Darius had been doing to her.

Kana had been up roaming the castle. She was searching for some medicine to rid herself of the feeling in her stomach. SHe had found none. Her white dress hung loosely on her body. She had not eaten in a few days and her already thin frame was becoming thinner. But the pain wouldn't let her eat.
She was on her way back to her room when she heard a terror-ridden scream echo thoughout the hall. She paused a moment to get her bearings then rushed to a closed door. The source of the scream. Aurelia's room.
Kana pressed her ear to the crack in the door. Soft sobs could be heard. Kana gently knocked on the door. "Aurelia, are you alright?" she asked softly.
((I have no clue. I hope we get more people. It will be more interesting that way.))

It was night. The castle of Airam was blanketed by darkness and eerie silence. Koen, the Knight of the Sun, slept soundly through the partially muffled scream of his beloved, Aurelia. But somehow, in a wretched nightmare of his, he could have sworn he heard the distinctly unnerving shriek of his love. Incidentally, he did not awake 'til the sky was a soothing blue-gray and the morning approached.
Only after the sky turned a fervent orange and the sun threatened the day with its presence did Koen emerge from the solitude that was his bed chamber. The men that stood guards outside his door noticed the increasing frequency of his odd habit. Koen would generally rise at dawn and eagerly train and aid the lesser knights of the court. Recently though, he had been locked up in his room until almost late for breakfast, sometimes not before midday.
This day, however, Koen blasted out the doors before the guards had little time to grasp that their superior was leaving. Koen didn't look back, but rushed past them on a self-proclaimed quest. First, though, he must locate Aurelia. The valiant knight set off for her quarters, not caring to consider the fact that breakfast began just moments ago.
(Please let me point out two things: -For some strange reason or another, I'm the one thus far leading the RP in terms of time and plot......I never thought I'd be the one doing that particular job. I'm not complaining, just something I wanted to bring to your attention. -Koen didn't technically wake up by Aurelia's scream, so you can either go on and play out the scene in the night, or move into the morning and refer to it in flashback or explanation. You by no means have start out in the morning. I was just saying what happened to Koen, which wasn't much during the night.)

((Sorry if you feel that way, I was trying not to go too fast so that when others joined they wouldn't be as lost. Also, this week I started college, that's why I haven't been posting much. sweatdrop ))
Aurelia heard the knock at the door, then Kana's voice reached her ears. She stood slowly from her bed, when she reached the door she opened it slightly. Only half her face was visible, Aurelia didn't want anyone to see her face.
"Its alright Kana I just had a bad dream is all. Please forgive me for waking you but you must rest and build your strength. It is uncertain what awaits us from now on. Now go back to sleep I shall be alright...I promise..." she smiled faintly.
After a few hours into the night Aurelia took a warm bath, the water soothed and relaxed her body and mind. She knew right then and there that she would never be able to rest until she killed Darius and avenged the King's death. Determined, she rose from the water, quickly drying her wet body. Aurelia dressed in tight black pants and a loose silk shirt, under it she he bound her chest tightly, she finished it off with her thigh high black leather boots, leaving her moist hair loose. She took her sword and climbed out her window, not wanting to wake anyone else. With a light thud she landed on the grass, above her the moon began to appear, urging her on as she headed to the Gardens.
The Gardens was where she had first met him, Darius. Aurelia thought that this was truly the best place for her to train, and to destroy the loving memories she had shared with the young prince. The Knhight closed her long lashes, concentrating, her free hand made a strange movement. Slowly shadows began to rise and morph into one, taking the form of a man. When she opened her eyes, she had made an exact replica of the prince, she unsheathed her long blade.
"I may be your mistress so I order you to fight me until I can't move a limb, you shall spar with me like if you truly were Darius himself. Help me gain the strength to destroy him along with my memories of him!"
The shadow puppet bowed, then it quickly dashed towards her with alarming speed. Both their swords clashed in the night. Aurelia fought and trained even after the moon had vanished and the sun began to rise. Flowers and leaves had scattered around them as she kept on with a fierce determination. Her shirt stained with her blood and sweat, and her long silver hair disheveled. Aurelia's body ached but she wouldn't stop, not now...not until she killed him.

Kana nodded and followed her superior's wishes. She made her way back to her room and lay down on her bed. Covering herself with her delicate lace comforter, she closed her eyes. Sleep did not come, but she did manage to rest a while before the sun rose, illuminating her room with a pale, pink-orage glow.
Kana opened her tired eyes again. Another new day. It began the same as yesterday? How many more would follow in its pathway? How long would the kingdom grieve their beloved king? How were things between Koen and Aurelia? Why did she ask herself so many questions?
She sighed as she rose and stretched. "Well, I do need to train. And you know what they say, Kana. No time like the present." She gave herself a bit of a pep talk before making her way out of her room and to the training room.

Koen arrived at Aurelia's quarters only to discover that she had left. He found this out on his own investigating, for none of her guards or attendants were aware of her absence. The distraught knight plodded off and finished his morning repast without his usually feigned zeal.
More than he was downtrodden, he was mystified and endlessly curious about his love's current location. Surely she must be off somewhere, doing something of importance, but Koen remained doubtful. Wearing a stylish yet modest outfit, he sauntered down to the garden to further his pondering. As he approached the verdant place, the sun had almost peaked into the cloudless, royal blue canvas that was a sky.
