Elijah chuckled softly. 'More than everything.' What he said might have sounded silly, but he really wanted it. “I bet we could make that possible, you and I, somehow...One way or another..." It was hard to imagine that, but it did seem very tempting. As tempting as a song that had a new little spin to it was refreshing, even if it was impossible. It would all involve Relm after all. How could it not be so wonderful? Elijah kept his eyes on her face, noticing the unique looking jewel Relm had, something he couldn't remember anyone else having anything as unique as that, and the way her lips were parted, making Elijah want to take them away for his own once more. Yet, he was enjoying their current position. There was something he wanted to say before he got lost into a kiss again too. He might forget while being wrapped up in it.

"Relm... We should do something again, real soon and I don't mean seeing another concert. Well, seeing another concert would be fine too, I love concerts, but I'm saying it doesn't have to be..." He stopped explaining himself. Now really. At this point he shouldn't get nervous and ramble. After all that happened tonight, like the kiss, he should be able to keep his composure a bit better. "I mean, you want to do something sometime soon? Before the next concert?"

It was silly, but that was partly why she liked how he said it so much. For Relm could tease him on it forever while smiling and holding it close to her heart. The reason his words were discombobulated was probably the same as why she was having trouble speaking as well -and it thrilled the pictomancer in a happy little way.

'You and I' The smile that had been small widened at that, the slight young woman giving a little shiver for the joy that jolted through her at the sound of it. A nod and she faced Elijah with another smile, not trusting her own words -and truthfully not knowing what she could say after that. Even if she should, for saying how she too believed they could do anything together seemed redundant and the carbunkle did not want to lessen the worth of his words on the matter in any way.

His next not-quite-bumbled words were another story. A slender brow arched even as Relm felt a giddy warmth wash through her like a swift wave bearing all the gentleness of a healing balm. "Hmmm... I might be able to be convinced..." Relm teased gently, pulling very slightly away and tilting her head thoughtfully. She looked for all the moment that were her hands not otherwise occupied and reluctant to leave Elijah's back and hair one would be at her chin with a finger tapping her lip if not holding her brush and doing so with it. There was a sparkle of impishness paired with affection in her intelligent green eyes. At the same time flickers of excitement showed here and there within the green depths, unable to be fully contained. Elijah was... asking her on a date, wasn't he? A real date! It was a little frightening, yes, but Relm found she really wanted to. Go on a date -a real date- with Elijah.

Feeling her move away, even if it was only slightly, made Elijah lean forward a bit to keep them close, but he stopped before it looked weird. He liked the closeness. Darn the teasing. So cruel it could be. "Hm... Convince you? Oh soooo I have to do give you more, huh?" Now he couldn't object to that. He rather liked convincing Relm, since he was pretty sure he knew a good way to do it. He pressed his lips to Relm's in a gentle kiss and then moved away, even if he didn't want to. If Relm wanted to be convinced this seemed like a good way to do it. "Well if we were to go somewhere on another day, I bet you'd get more of that from me." He grinned. "So yeah.... You free?"

She had not wanted to move any bit away, but how else was she to see him properly? Besides... Relm had to think a little. Elijah's lips and the feelings he gave her when they joined were far too tempting. The corner of her mouth quirked as if to say yes, convince her. Green eyes danced. She wanted him to give her more. Her return kiss was half sigh of happiness, shifting to the faintest of whimpers when it was over too soon. Her eyes nearly shot open in defiance. Or pride. He had turned the tables on her! Damn the man! Still Relm could not be angry with him -not when that Elijah had done so actually thrilled her in a strange way. That he could and would play back with her was one of the things she liked about him. But really..!

"Bribing?" There was a slight moan of dissappointment barely covered by the teasing and seductive tone of the word. It was a little sharp too, as if attempting to admonish or something along those lines. A sly grin curled her lips though her body was otherwise starting to give her away. "You think you can withhold?"

A twinkle. She had seen how he moved to keep a kiss and close distance between them and it sent sparks through her that he would miss everything even so soon as much as she would if she did not consent . Not that Relm intended to wait much longer. She was already starting to shake slightly from holding herself back from kissing Elijah once more.

That grin of his was just too damn cute.

Her slender body slipped forward to remove the space between them as Relm ducked her mouth beneath the soft fold of Elijah's right ear. Her own angled back and up simply to not hit the dog-anthro in the face. Cheek leaning comfortingly upon his there was no hiding her soft tremble. The sigh she released into his ear was not faked but it was timed -held until she was in place. It was all Relm could manage, for being there pulled it from her as her heart beat like a drummer within her. "My family already knows..." Relm whispered soft & sweet, just barely masking how much she wanted to kiss him at that moment. "You've first dibs on my time unless it's a case of life or death for concerts -----they'll understand... it'll go doubly... for us." Eyes gently closed Relm nuzzled her cheek to his with a happy smile of contentment. She had not let herself think... how nice this could be.

The position left her neck woefully vulnerable, but if she knew Relm did not seem to care.

"I can try withholding at least..." Elijah responded before Relm nuzzled up to him. Ugh, he wasn’t very good at resisting, he could already tell. Course, he wouldn't let her onto that easily. Not yet anyway... Holding back was only fun to a point. It was all about the timing.

His eyes started to close again as he felt the other lean her cheek against his own. Again they were perfectly close. He adjusted his hold on her a little to get the two of them more comfortable. They had been sitting there for a while, not that he was even thinking about getting up. Oh no. He loved this! Just how he wanted it. He opened one of his eyes to look over at Relm when she said her family knew, thinking at first she meant the relationship they had just started, but than realized she probably meant their outgoings to concerts and such. Ah yes, now she didn't have any magic information spreader spells too, now did she? No... Course not. Then again he had no way of knowing, but it didn't really matter either way. Relm was Relm and that's what really mattered.

The eye he had left open spotted her neck. Oh yes, that was definitely luring him in right there. He hadn't tried kissing there yet either. Now he couldn't afford to lose this chance. It was basically not withholding himself either. It wasn't her lips after all. He still had his little “bribe” on that. "So I can have you anytime I want basically, huh? Well... We should be seeing each other real soon then. Now just have to figure out where, the date, and the time." He moved his head down and began to plant soft, kisses on her neck. Yes, now he liked this very much as well.

With a chuckle Relm smirked soft and happily against his hair, giggling as the ends tickled her nose. Sure he could. Relm would believe that in a blue moon. Or if he could... well maybe she would... No. Not yet. Thank goodness Elijah would not be able to see her face as it heated with such thoughts. Really... she was not ready for anything quite like that. Certainly not yet.

Breathing in his scent contacting her family was the last thing on her mind. It would be easy enough should she want to, but despite the many magics they used her means would likely be technological over magical. If she thought Elijah was wondering if she told them already about the latest development she would set his mind at ease.

Maybe.

Have her? Oh that was a bad timing of words with where her thoughts had just been and Relm could feel her face grow hotter even as she actually tried to hide it against him. Oh Espers!!! She had to pull her thoughts together to form a decent answer. Something that would not be teasing or even hint that she was already thinking that should their relationship continue favorably perhaps sometime -far- in the future the 'bad' meaning that could be given to his question would also be truly answered with a positive response. As much as she liked him...

"Hmm... I suppose so--OoooOH...!" Coherent thought left her. Anything beyond the circle of Elijah's arms did not matter nor did it exist. Her skin tingled from the soft touches to her neck and with a tiny shiver she curled more into her friend. Some automatic reaction kept her neck available to him as Relm buried her face into the hair below his ear. A tiny moan -almost a whimper- was drawn out of her, barely audible and partly muffled by Elijah's hair. Slender fingers clutched a bit more where they lay. Relm's breath left her she half-panted her slight admonishment with an overwhelming display of wonder in her voice. "Espers, 'Lijah! How'd you manage to walk earlier?" For somewhere through the happy haze she remembered -quite clearly actually- that she had done the same thing to him as he carried her. Was he... like she had... was he bypassing the kisses?

"Cheater..." Alto voice soft and filled with happy pride Relm attempted to 'tsk' softly in his ear. It would not be at all right to directly admit that she was glad he had found a way around, now would it? No not at all.

Elijah grinned and snickered a bit at her reaction, not feeling guilty at all for surprising her like that. He had no reason too. She was just too cute and not to mention he was quite pleased with her reaction. "Hrm... Heck of a lot of self control and the knowledge that if I collapsed I would drop you too," He responded before placing one more kiss that he held just a little bit longer than the rest. " Sssh. You know you like it. I can see that. I wonder how many kisses it would take to make you melt though..."

After three more kisses Elijah decided to show some "mercy" and stopped. He slowly, but with some reluctance, pulled away from Relm. Kissing her felt so good. Her skin felt so soft too and her lips... He almost leaned forward to capture those lips, but was able to stop himself before he made the attempt noticeable. Oh, he wanted to so badly, but he had to wait. It'd make it all the better.

Was he... was he laughing? Relm could barely tell from the blissful and new sensation but she thought the shift of his breath indicated Elijah was chuckling or snickering or something. It certainly tickled and she squirmed the tiniest bit. The knowledge that if you collapsed you would drop me too? Espers, Musician, but... ... ... shushing me? The longer kiss broke Relm's train of thought as she sucked in her breath sharply at the wonderful feeling. The happiness his words brought her remained to warmly flutter her heart, even though her thoughts over them had been well diverted. The pictomancer refused to verbally admit how she liked it. Despite or perhaps -most likely- because he had said so. Her reactions however would give her away, being harder (impossible at this at this moment) to contain.

How... many? Dammit 'Lijah! But the thought did not make it to her lips, overtaken with a soft fluttering sound. "Not fair..." the thought so faint as it tumbled from her lips that were they not so near Elijah's ear he would likely miss it. In fact Relm was not sure they had been voice at all. he had fair melted her with kisses. Those to her neck... it was a wonder the pictomancer could put a thought together. Her eyes were glazed as they opened, distance -even minute- coming between them. Even had Elijah shown his temptation she might have missed it. As it was, Relm was unawares. Coming from the back of his head her hand slipped around to the front, caressing lightly along his jaw and cheek until cupping she was able to brush his lips tenderly with a thumb. "Dammit... still don't understand... why they've such power..."

It was something she had seen and often laughed at or even scorned. How people obviously liked kisses when to her there really was not anything to them. Kind of dirty really, when one thought about it. Mouths were not exactly the cleanest of places, from a germ perspective. Yet... here she had wanted one. Many. Here she herself was craving more ... and it did not make any sense. Her lips parted only enough that there was a slight opening between them where Relm breathed in and out -not even enough to see past them- and trembled slightly. Why was she not leaning in for another kiss again? Was there a reason? Maybe she should wait until she could at least think a little straighter again. Or not. Relm leaned forward a little bit closer then paused, looking a little confused and bewildered even as her eyes slowly followed her thumb as it passed back over Elijah's lips the other way. So much power... to control and move her like that. Better than a spell.

Elijah let Relm trace his lips as he mused. Power... such an interesting way to put it, but quite accurate. He felt as if her were dominating the current situation, but he felt weak at the same time as he tried to resist all the temptations that were hitting him. It was getting more difficult by the second, especially with the way Relm looked right now. She was so cute and very, very appealing. Well, perhaps that even was an understatement. He could tell he was definitely her first kiss by now too, even if she was pretty good, good enough for Elijah to be fooled even. He could tell by her reactions.

He noticed her leaning in and smiled. He kissed her thumb gently. "Not too much power for you, is it?" He said quietly.
PostPosted: Thu Dec 18, 2008 8:41 am

A soft whimper stirred her breath as her thumb felt his lips respond with a kiss. That too of course was a new sensation and one Relm had been wholly unprepared to experience. Her slender body sagged slightly, loose. A flutter of glowing red light unfurled magically from her back as she lost hold of the almost automatic disappearance of her faerie wings for concerts. Their magical nature kept them from being damaged, sure, but they could unbalance her should someone hit or grab them sometimes and it had seemed just easier to rid herself of the things for such times after hearing Trelweny’s tales of mosh pits and the like. Now they fluttered weakly behind her, almost matching the flutter of her eyes as she sighed.

’Too much power for you?’ Relm scoffed softly and a little huffily despite her melted state in the musician’s arms. It was more automatically defensive in typical Relm fashion than anything else. “hmph! Of course not!” It had most of the girl’s normal stubborn strength and pride but beyond the scoff the artist-mage could give no other defiance, softening once more. Green eyes which had flashed in denial also softened and warmed, slowly shifting gaze between Elijah’s green eyes and his lips. After shifting hand position so that her fingertips barely grazed the lower border of his brown eye ‘patch’ Relm had once again started to tenderly brush her thumb upon his lips. Something called ‘danger!’ somewhere inside her, but Relm disregarded it if she heard it at all. More dangerous if the tables were turned. She remembered how Elijah had smiled, and could still hear how quietly he had asked and it made her shiver nicely. “Are you kidding?” Most of the defensive bite was gone with the slight breathlessness that had replaced it but still it was stubbornly the strong-willed girl and adventurer, unafraid to face a challenge even when she might be afraid. “I could resist if I wanted to.” An off-hand implication that she did NOT want to. Besides… she liked facing and wielding power. There was no challenge or adventure in weak things –and certainly what Elijah had her feeling was not weak. It made her feel weak, but the power certainly was not. The corners of her lips quirked with a sweet yet longing & slightly teasing smile as Relm started to lean in again, eyes starting to close. An utterly kissable face with her lips very slightly parted as they were. “Why…? Too much for you…?”

The question murmured softly upon his lips, theirs only the distance of her thumb away. Lightly her eyelashes kissed his cheek on the other side from where her fingers touched. Her head tilted so that though their lips were painstakingly close tilt was needed to actually kiss considering the angle of her face to his. It would not be much though… not much at all. So what if Elijah had figured out he was her first -even if she had known he had? Sooner or later she would probably confess it. Maybe.

"Kidding? No. I just wanted to make sure... Just in case." He said still smiling. He didn't mind Relm’s stubbornness at all. He liked it actually and he figured he could figure out what she was really thinking if he tried hard enough. After all, he seemed to be doing alright so far and it felt like he was able to read into her so much at the moment, especially with the way her wings had popped out being a hint just now. She was the first winged anthro he had ever met that was able to draw her wings back like she did, but he could tell that must of met some sort of emotion had let them loose. "You? Resist? Something tells me I won't see that happening..."

Elijah was getting sick of holding back. His green eyes were now locked onto her lips. Everything about them was just begging him to kiss them. He was beginning to feel that weakness in himself, the kind where he just could not resist. "No, that's impossible, too much power... I like this..." His hand gently grabbed hers to pull the thumb away. It was blocking his lips from her lips... "And you make it too difficult to resist... " The distance was closed between them so he could claim those lips once again. Yes, he had lost that little game, but he didn't really care. How could he resist for so long? It was impossible.
PostPosted: Fri Dec 19, 2008 10:25 pm

Not when they were alone, anyway. Resistance for very long seemed almost a waste of time, though no time with Elijah could she truthfully feel was a waste. When her thoughts were more about her once more (and not so singularly focused on kissing him) Relm would most likely -somehow- talk of guidelines where resistance would have to be withstood on both sides. But not here, alone, not a soul for miles.

Relm whimpered ever so softly with happiness into Elijah's lips and the kiss they brought as her eyes slipped the rest of the way closed. The fingers that had been moved curled around the hand that had taken it. Her lips moved inexperienced but meaningfully upon his. She had not had a chance to verbally respond -not that Relm had wanted to- but this... this she could show her pleasure and more with how his words had moved her ontop of everything else. How she liked (was thrilled really) that he liked this, this power. The he had said SHE made it too difficult to resist.

That he kissed her.

It was about the game the getting there that was fun. Maybe he had lost the little game... Relm would probably tease there were no winners or losers in such a game, with the outcome they now faced. And her kiss was as if to make Elijah a winner after all. To prove him he had the better 'prize' not waiting.

Elijah was already being persuaded that this kiss was a win for him too. After all, he had Relm. What bigger "award" could he get from winning? If he thought about his little idea of waiting until later at this time he would have felt stupid. He figured it was best to get as much kissing in before they would be forced to part as he could. His desires just kept screaming for him to get more and more, as much as he could, without, of course, crossing the boundaries of a new couple. He moved his lips against hers and guided them with his more experienced ones. His hand rested on her cheek as he continued the kiss and he gently stroked it with his thumb. Every time they kissed liked this it seemed to get better and better. Resistance wasn't possible. Elijah was beginning to hate that little move more and more anyway.

His right foot shifted in a way that pushed the merry-go-round that Elijah was sitting on with Relm moved a little. He brought a hand down to catch himself, not because he was going to fall, but because the sudden movement surprised him a little. The kiss had broken for a split second, but he had fixed that in an instant as he kissed her again right away. Yes, he was fed up of resisting tonight.
PostPosted: Fri Dec 26, 2008 12:27 am

She might tell Elijah the waiting only sweetened the kiss that much more. She would admonish then tease that he be a fool to hate something so silly especially when it intensified everything so. Or she would, if Relm had any idea such thoughts or feelings were going through his head.

And if she was not melted into a puddle from his kiss when she found out.

Relm was his, and though she might not verbally state it out of principle the small pictomancer was letting him know now through ways that needed no voice. Responding with surprised pleasure feeling the guiding, leading, teaching of his lips upon hers -understanding more on some level where knowledge and experience did not overlap. Well, unless overlapping like this. His guiding expanded the kiss for her -exploding within her who was already melting. Her hand slipped from his as she sighed into the kiss and leaned lightly into his thumb. It did not fall far, brushing along his cheek and jaw to settle lightly the fingertips of her slender hand upon his skin just above the neck opening of his shirt. Was this what she had secretly longed for behind even the lighter desires of wanting to touch Elijah's hand or lean into his arm? Did it matter? Certainly not this moment, as Relm let him teach her what no amount of books read or people watching could.

The jolt had her gasping slightly into the kiss, within fractions of seconds missing the touch of his hand that had left her to support him. A moment to press through foggy thoughts burred with bliss and Relm could guess what had happened. Relm smiled into the kiss as Elijah reinstated it between them. So what if this was the eve of their first kiss? It effected not Relm's reactions to him not at all. Resist? No. The pictomancer had no interest in resisting to the kisses. In fact she was becoming quite pliable curling into him. Some instinct, affection and a quick readiness to learn had her imitating the earlier, more experienced movement of his kiss back on him. A part of her simply loving this... a part of her wanting to show Elijah how much she did, and a part of her wanting to make sure she saw to it that Elijah liked it as much as she did. The last a tall order for she had no idea the extent Elijah all ready liked it. Relm knew he must... knew he must...

...'Lijah... her thought lingered happily inside Relm's head. She had not known... she could feel so happy.

Elijah guided the kiss so that it could go back to being as intense as it was before their seat had moved in the inconvenient fashion that it had. He pushed himself up a bit so that he could bring back his other hand to hold her with as well, but hesitated and wondered if laying down on the child ride wouldn't be a bad idea. It might be a bit uncomfortable, but surely a bit of cuddling could make up for it, right? Maybe he'd do that in a bit... He didn't want to break the kiss yet. He'd probably have to, to move them down. So he did push himself and slip that hand around her waist for the time being.

Elijah leaned more into the kiss more. He wanted her to feel everything he felt as well. How much this made him happy, how great it was to feel her touch, how amazing it was to kiss her... He wanted to show her it all. Later on in the relationship he would be able to show her even more, but not now. Oh, it was much too early for some things...

(( I'm just curious, I forget, how late is it for them right now? XD I should probably know. ))
