Naum smiled and bowed again. "Thank you miss Avel.I greatly appreciate the help.I thought every one would think Im an idiot for being late." He said with a laugh. "Now I owe you for the help." He said patting Avel on the shoulder lightly and walking to his room.

"Not at all, sir. You're very welcome," she said, smiling. She tried not to flinch at his hand on her shoulder. She wasn't used to being touched, but she smiled back and nodded. "D-don't hesitate to ask about anything..." she added, then turned and went back into her own room.

(( rofl I do that a lot! >w ))
Avel went back to her desk, writing on the paper again with a new vigor. But, after a short while, she couldn't write anymore. She was wanting to go outside, to the courtyard. She looked out the window lightly, then sat back down, seeing that others were down there, so decided against it. She'd go down there when she was sure of having it to herself. She sat back down, trying to get back involved in her book instead, waiting for nightfall.

"Eh I hate sleeping fancy..." Naum said slipping outside un-noticed by any one and going out into the courtyard and finding a tree. "Hmm..this should do." He said as he climbed up with ease and found a comfortable spot to sit and started to doze of in the tree. "Ahh..just like back then.." He said as he completely fell asleep on the branch of the tree.

((Sorry it's taking so long, I've been busy... ^^;;; ))
Avel watched as Naum walked out into the courtyard, and climb up into the tree with grace. How could he even consider...? Avel shook her head. No, no. He's from Mael, of course he's going to do a few odd things... She sighed, not comfortable with going outside at the moment, and would wait for a while...
It was now late afternoon, and the courtyard was now abandoned. She looked up from her book, and decided the setting sun was fine by her, and wandered out of her room. She walked down into the courtyard, trying to think if she'd seem Naum leave. She looked up at the tree he had disappeared into quietly, trying to figure out if he was still up there...

((I'd be watching FMA if my anime collection wan't stolen... ^^;;; So I'm reading manga. XD ))
Avel flinched back as Naum talked, but it seemed to be to himself... Apparently, he hadn't noticed her out there just yet. She looked over to see a stone bench in amongst some flowers. She smiled, walked silently over to it, and sat down. She opened up her book, reading and trying not to disturb Naum.

"Im talking to myself again aren't I?" He asked himself putting a hand over his mouth. "Im such a clutz. Why must I think aloud?"

"Because, sir, it's a very nice way to keep yourself company," she replied, not looking up from her book, "I know so because I used to do it a lot when I was little... I still do to a point..." She looked up at him, closing her book. She smiled, trying to hide her own surprise at herself for talking so much. "It's quite all right by my standards."

Naum jumped a little, suddenly realizing he was noticed. "Ooops..hehe yeah I guess...sorry I disturbed you from your reading.I just can't stand those beds. They're just too comfortable.I know I sound odd but..it's what you get from growing up in a place like I did." He said with a laugh jumping down from the tree and standing up. "So what were you doing all alone?" He asked with a smile.

"It's okay," she said, putting her book to the side and standing up, "What do you mean, sir? Reading, like I always do. I never really have company anyways."

Naum laughed a bit and smiled. "Not to be rude but, could you please not call me sir?I mean doesnt that seem a little too formal? We know eachother now.N-not trying to be rude." He said scratching the back of his head. "Hehe..so why weren't you out here when every one else was?" He asked walking a little closer and stopping to lean on a tree trunk.

"O-oh." Avel fidgeted for a moment, "Okay... Naum, then..." She looked up at his face for a moment, then back down at the ground. "Ah, well... There were too many people down here... I don't like crowds, and I can't focus... "

Naum looked at Avel and smiled. "Well Avel it's fine to be a little shy.I used to be the shyest person there ever was.Still not too good in crowds." He said looking at the book she had set down. "So what are you reading?" He asked walking over and sitting on the of the side of the bench leaving alot of room on the bench between him and Avel so she wasnt uncomfortable. "Sorry if Im being a burden." He said looking up at the sky, cloudless and orange from the setting sun.
