She didn't seem to mind him sitting down next to her, but when he asked about the book... "Oh! Um, uh, it's nothing, really," she said, moving it farther away from both of them and flipping it over so the title wasn't visible, "J-just another piece of literature, nothing much." She was desperate to keep him from seeing what it was about. "You're not a burden... Trust me..."

Naum laughed a bit and smiled. "You don't have to tell me if you don't want to." He said happily. "Every one has things they can't or don't want to tell people right?" He asked looking at Avel for a minute then looking back to the sky.

Avel looked at him for a moment, stunned. "Are you sure...?" she said, used to her father prying into almost EVERYTHING, "I-I guess so..." She sat in silence for a moment, then thought for a moment longer. She carefully put the book in Naum's lap. The book had an elaborate drawing of a dragon on the front, and the title read, "Love's Flight." She blushed a bright pink, embarrassed about her love for fantasy romance books...

Naum looked at the book and smiled. "Why were you hiding this?I think that it actually looks pretty interesting..'Love's Flght' hmm.." He said as he opened the book to a page and read for a couple seconds and then gave her the book. "Romance genre?I prefer some romances myself.Really I do." He said with a smile.

Avel blushed into a deeper red, "R-really...? I thought everyone would think it's stupid..." she said, smiling. Then she put a strand of hair behind her ear. "I guess not, then..."

Naum smiled and looked at Avel. "Of course not...." He said with a friendly smile. "Why would some one think its stupid?"

"Well... My father does..." she said, "He says, to be a model wife, I have to learn to accept what I get, including my husband... He says that these romance novels encourage me to like certain qualities over others..." She looked down after that speech, to her standards. "I-I'm sorry, Naum, I shouldn't put down my father like that..."

Naum smiled. "Hey your just saying what you think.I don't mind.Im not the kind to make people say exactly what I want to hear.To tell you the truth I don't really like my father either. He was always trying to badgering me." He said laughing a tiny bit. "He constantly asked if there was a girl I liked yet.Don't be sorry all the time okay Avel?" He said moving a tiny bit closer to her.

She didn't seem to notice the space difference. "Oh... Okay, then," she said, looking up as the last bit of fading light slid away, revealing the stars. "My father always pressured me to be perfect, and tried to sell me off to a man the first chance he got. I guess that's why I'm here, then..." She looked over at Naum, finally noticing the space. She almost bit her tongue, then blushed.

Naum looked at the sky and was counting the stars under his breath. "Avel I wish we could both find some one we loved.Parents are just another excuse to have no time to find that one person." He said with a serious face looking at the sky.

((Okies, see you tommorow night. ^^/ ))
Avel looked up at the sky as well, trying to find some sort of guidance in the stars. "Yes... Finding someone we can love is more important than trying to live up to your parent's standards, for sure..." she said. She sat quiet for the longest time then said, "I wish you the best of luck in your pursuit, Naum..."

((LOL, you'll have to read it all up! Actually a few pages back I summarized the stuff I did.)) Nika had left the armory and was back in her room now, flipping through pages of an old book. She paused when she laid her eyes upon a certain page. "I...I remember this..." She pulled the book closer to her face. "Its a picture of when Ashling and I were young...."A tear trickled down her face and onto the old paper. "Those were the days..." She closed the book quietly. ((BTW it was drawn by Setsunasa not I, so give her the credit! smile ))

He'd gotten up on time despite feeling miserable and drank what he was supposed to before getting dressed and ready for work. He felt terribly weak, but was confident he'd be able to do his run, if not he could possibly ask Sharon to help him later when she'd finished hers. He grabbed his messenger bag and headed out to the dining hall for breakfast.
