Russia, should I go there when we ge to the docks Arthur thought. He reached to his pocket and took out his mother's necklace. It was an heart shaped figure with a gold chain connected to it.He put it back and thought. Russia was where his great granpa died. But the thing is his mom's last request to him and his brother was to at least visit his the place grandfather died.Arthur teared up teared up a bit remebering what happend to his mom back at the philippines. He had ran from infected trying to help his tired mom.In moment his mom couldn't go any longer and said,"Go without me. This is where I die and go with god." Arthur first needed to go to his gradfathers resting place to honor him.....and also find his journal his mom told him about.

Rayde looked over to Shane and said, "keep an eye out for any undead, I'm going to go teach Nilla the basics of shooting and survival. Rayde pulled out her pistol and slung her MP5. She smiled and walked over to where Nilla was streatching out. Wow, she's flexible, Rayde thought to herself as she approached. "Hey Nilla, you ready to learn how to defend yourself?" Rayde looked around to find a good place to instruct her. She selected a spot just off of the road ans set down her pistol and a couple magazines and a box of ammunition.Rayde smiled and started explaining the basics of marksmanship, "First thing you want is a good stable stance....."

"Yeah sure i can do that."Shane said as her walked off to a lone tree and climbed it and unslung his M-16 scanning the area for zombies."So far the place is clear rayde."He said as he leaned back against the tree and relaxed.he didnt dare close his eyes.his descisions had already killed a person.he waited sitting on a high branch for the zombies they would always come at some point or another it was undeniable truth that they wouldn't ever give up.then again they were mindless.

Nilla was bending over backwards, her hands and feet flat on the ground, her body arched upward, when Rayde approached her. She didn't know how she was bending this way, or even why. It simply came naturally to her. As naturally as breathing.
"Hey Nilla," Rayde said, "you ready to learn how to defend yourself?"
"Yes," came the reply, and Nilla relaxed, exhaling deeply and lowering her body to the ground.
Rayde led Nilla to a wide open space just off of the road. The sun was shining brightly, making Nilla's hair glow, like a halo around her head. Rayde set down her pistol, as well as a couple magazines and a box of ammunition, then turned to help her. Nilla wondered whether or not it was a good idea to use up what little ammunition they had to teach her how to shoot, but before she could object, Rayde was behind her, up against her, helping her assume the correct position.
"First thing you want," Rayde said, smiling, "is a good, stable stance."
Nilla listened intently as Rayde described the proper way to stand. The edgeways stance of the duelist is necessary for skateboarding or surfing, but counter-productive to good shooting. If one heel is behind the other, the body does not have good lateral balance and will tend to sway sideways. If the feet are squared off parallel, in the old "police academy position" so often seen on TV, the body does not have good front to back balance, and the shots will tend to miss either high or low. The best stance is a fighter’s stance, a boxer’s stance, also known as a "front stance". The lower body needs a pyramidal base, a triangle with depth. Your feet should be shoulder-width apart. If you are right handed and firing with your strong hand only, the pelvis wants to be at about a 45-degree angle with the target, with your left leg to the rear. If you are shooting two-handed and are right hand dominant, the hips still want that 45-degree angle but the left leg should now be forward and the right leg back. Now you’re balanced forward and balanced back, balanced left and balanced right. It’ll be easier to hold the gun on target.
Rayde told her that, on a semiautomatic pistol, you want the web of the hand so high that a ripple of flesh is seen to bunch up behind the backstrap of the grip at the top edge. The higher the hand, the lower the bore axis. This means much better control of muzzle jump and less movement of the pistol upon recoil. Since most handguns, particularly semiautomatics, are designed to be shot this way, it means that you will find it easier to press the trigger straight back as you make each shot. If your hand is too low on the "handle," a straight rearward pressure on the trigger will tend to pull the muzzle down, placing the shot low.
She said that the best way to hold a pistol is, quite simply, as hard as you can.
Lastly, Rayde showed her the proper way to pull the trigger. You need to apply a smooth, consistent, uniform pressure. You don't want the shot to truly surprise you because that would be an unintentional discharge. Rather, you want the exact instant of the shot to surprise you, so you don't anticipate it and convulsively jerk the shot off target. They practiced a few dozen times with Rayde's empty gun, then switched to Nilla's loaded one.
Rayde found an old aluminum can and set it on a tree stump about 12 yards away.
Nilla assumed the stance, high hand grasp, hard grip. Lined up the sights. Pulled the trigger. Fired. She hit the can.
Nilla jumped for joy and hugged Rayde tightly.

As they finished up her pistol training Nilla managed to score a clean solid hit. Rayde was impressed, not too bad for a beginner. Next time they practice, it'll be against the real thing.
Rayde turned to Nilla who was truly excited. Nilla jumped for joy and hugged Rayde tightly. Rayde told her when she let go, "Great job, next we'll work on your close quarters combat skills."
Rayde briefly taught her about bare-nuckle fighting and showed her a few strikes to knockdown an enemy as the rest are pretty much useless against the undead.
She also taught Nilla about fighting with weapons. Rayde explained, "Bullets are limited, but blades and blunt objects are forever. You just need to make sure you don't get yourself in to deep, always have an exit strategy." Rayde winked and said,"You're picking it up pretty quick. How do you feel about what you've been learning?" Rayde smiled, flipped down her glasses and lit a cigarette as she waited for Nilla's response. Nilla nodded and Rayde told her, "Hey Nilla, go relax a while unless you want to keep going. I don't know how long we'll be able to stay here before we move on to LA, but I'll do my best to teach you what I can."
Rayde knew it was a lot for the girl to process especially in her condition and that she might need a break. Whatever happened to her seriously jacked her up, Rayde thought to herself.
Rayde looked over at her brother who had started a fire, probably not the best idea in a place they didnt know but oh well, Charlie wasn't one for thought all the time. Rayde walked over to a nearby bench, took a seat and she relaxed a bit and finished her cigarette.
Next stop LA, then where, who knew?

Duplin pointed to the Gas station. " Lets check this out." Duplin walked to it. "Gas prices are high as hell, 7 bucks a gallon." Duplin looked around for something useful, like a canister. " Im checking out that gas station" Inside the gas station was empty. It smelt of gas and dead. Groaning started coming from t=one of the rooms, he held his 12 gauge tight. " Anyone alive?" he chuckled. WHAM. He feel to his back. A zombie was gouging and cutting Duplin up. Dupin took the back of his gun and smashed its face in. It fell onto Duplins chest. " Bleh" He pushed it over and got up. He was cut up and bloody. He took out his Spas-12 and turned on the flashlight. He crept over to the back where most gas canisters where.

Andre woke up with a jolt, then relaxed, he shook his head, if there was one thing he hated about the peace and serenity of LA these days, it was that it came with the price of having to watch your back every couple seconds...on reflection though, it wasn't that unlike LA before, just less humans, he picked up the Radio Broadcasting microphone and flicked the broadcast button again, "Hey everyone, Andre Luda again on 107.1, L.A "Live" Radio, if the people I talked to earlier can hear this, please respond...if not...damn thing must be broken.."
