He smiled again, and kissed her forehead gently.
"Good afternoon, my angel."

She smiled and blushed slightly.
"Good afternoon, my knight in shinning armor."  

[Shimai_Tepes]

He smiled, then looked over his shoulder at his exposed Dragon wings.
"Well, I don't know about knight..."

She laughed softly and smiled.
"Hmm...well then my...protective dragon?" She looked at him confused, and sighed softly.  

[Shimai_Tepes]

He thought for a minute.
"Mmm... how 'bout..."
He giggled.
"Teddy-bug,"

She smiled and laughed softly.
"Okay. Good afternoon, my teddy-bug."  

[Shimai_Tepes]

He smiled.
"Y'know, I don't think I told you last night, but the key I gave you..."
He paused, to see if he had upset her for some reason.
"... you can control the rhythm of my heart, as long as you have it..."

She looked up at him slightly scared.
"That's great." She wasn't really sure what to say, she felt like she was going to accidently hurt him or something just because she didn't trust herself, but she tried not to show it.  

[Shimai_Tepes]

His eyes were soft, the deep blood-red color was gentle.
"Don't be scared,"
He stroked her face gently.
"You couldn't posibly harm me at all."

She smiled softly.
"I hope you're right."  

[Shimai_Tepes]

He frowned.
"Look, Evelyn. I want you to be comfortable with me. I don't want you to feel like you always have to stay on your guard, afraid you might offend me, or afraid you might cause me pain. I care about you, and I would never forgive myself if you were ever hurt..."

She looked up at him and sighed.
"I know. I'm so sorry. I just can't help it, I've always been worried about hurting the people I care about." She looked away from him feeling bad.  

[Shimai_Tepes]

He gently turned her chin to face him again.
"You don't have to worry, you don't cause me pain."
He looked deeply into her eyes, and his rubellite flashed brightly.

Her smile appered again and she nodded.
"Okay, but I just never want to. And..." She shook her head and sighed.
"Nevermind, I need to stop worrying about it right?"

He pressed his lips to hers very softly, and kissed her.
