After he finished washing his face he wiped it dry with his sleeve and continued on. It was nearing lunchtime. Normally he'd have been finished with his entire route and back in time for lunch, but it was slow going today. He pulled a small sandwich out of his bag and ate it while he worked.

Nika stopped playing and dozed off again for a little while. She awoke minutes later. God, this is boring. I want to go somewhere, I want to travel! I want to see new places, new worlds...

He finished his route eventually and headed back to the castle. At the gates he bumped into Sharon who had also just returned and he thanks her again, passing her a few extra gold coins. She took them and went on her way. He went into the castle and straight to the kitchen, the sandwich hadn't filled him up and he was certain there'd be leftovers from lunch. He found some and stood there eating them and drinking some cool water.

Nika walked over to another door in her room which led to a small walk in closet. She was stopped by the ghostly image of a pale white dress on a dress form; it was to be her wedding dress. Like HELL am I wearing that. She thought madly. I'll just wear my formal armor, the kind my dad bought for me... She smiled.

Once he finished eating the meal he cleaned up his mess and then went down to his room. He stripped down to his boxers, leaving his uniform in a pile on the floor and then dropped into bed. He reached over to the side and grabbed a small beat up book, the title had long been worn off and it was coming unbound. It was his favorite book, he'd read it at least a hundred times and could nearly repeat it word for word. He opened to the first page and started reading.

DamianBaqer Konstantin sighed watching her leave, by the way she took off out of there he assumed it was to see an old, if no the man she hoped to marry. He looked back to his drawing and scribbled down a few quotes "Don't marry the person you think you can live with; marry only the individual you think you can't live without." "Marriage, like money, is still with us; and, like money, progressively devalued" "Marriage is an alliance entered into by a man who can't sleep with the window shut, and a woman who can't sleep with the window open." Then he shut his book and climbed off the window. He kept the tin of pastels out as he grabbed another smaller journal. Flipping through it were images of flowers, most of them jasmine. He found the page he'd finished the day before and then went to the next blank page. There were only 3 more pages til his gift to his friend would be finished. He gathered up the supplies he'd need and headed down to the garden. Walking around he found a good view of the jasmine with the castle in the background where the light was perfect and sat down on the ground. Kisa handed Midnights reins to the stable boy and went back into the castle. She went back upstairs and changed out of her dress into another yellow dress; her mother used to say that Kisa looked beautiful in yellow, and would proceed to buy her daughter yellow dresses. She knocked softly on Konstantin's door and proceeded to open it slowly, but seeing the room empty, she went to the second nmost obvious place he would be; the garden. She stepped out into the sunlight, and found her way back to the Jasmine, him sitting and drawing them only a few feet away. "Almost done with the journal," she pointed out.

He nodded without looking up as he rubbed some color on the castle. "Yep I only have two more pages to draw and then I plan to write on the last one." He finally looked up at her and smiled. "Yellow suites you very nicely. How was your ride?"

Kisa smiled at his compliment, "My ride was good..." she said, leaving it at that. "You wanna get something to eat in the kitchen or something?" she asked, trying to change the subject.

He looked at his picture a moment. "I just need to add a bit more to this one, can I have like five minutes?" He worked on the shading a bit.

Kisa nodded and sat down beside him, watching him finish the sketch. "..." she wasnt sure what else to talk about, so she just watched him.

He finished the sketch and grabbed the rag and wiped his hands on the rag. "Ok I'm finished, what do you think?" He held it so she could see it better.

Nika sighed and decided to get some lunch in the kitchen. She hurried downstairs and slipped in through the back as usual. Damn I'm hungry... She nabbed a piece of meat and some potatos and carrots that were from a leftover stew and poured some red wine. "Ahh." She sighed, getting full.

She finished eating and went back for seconds. Oh man, I am such a glutton. She thought greedily. But nothing seems to satiate me these days...

Kisa looked at the drawing, "I think your friend will love it," she said, smiling at him.
